- Mary Wilson, a founding member of the Supremes, died on February 8, 2021. Her cause of death was unknown at the time of publication. Wilson appeared on ABC 7 Chicago's "Windy City LIVE" in December 2013, where she and Duke Fakir, the last surviving member of Motown group The Four Tops, sang the winter holiday classic "Baby It's Cold Outside."

Duke and Mary were a couple at one time. they were engaged to be married, but their careers got in the way. considering that, this is a wonderful duet. i love it!! sentimental value alone is enormous! may Mary rest in peace.

What a lot of people might not know but they were deep in love in the 60's. Duke was one of Mary's great loves. (and Mary was Duke as well) Mary talked about it in her book. Like serious serious loves. I think Duke was married at the time so they had a lot going on at that time. This was a joy to see and yet on this day as Im posting this....they are both gone. So Im enjoying the legacy they left behind and so sad that they are both resting in power.

This is a rare video to be honest. We’ve never seen THE DUKE sing without the Top nor have we ever heard his voice alone.
Speak for yourself. During performances, the other group members would leave him to perform alone onstage as a tribute to him being the sole survivor of the original Four Tops. I was in attendance at Westbury Long Island and the Coney Island Boardwalk a couple of years ago when he sang solo. Give him much credit but the truth is, he’s not really a great singer when he’s alone.
