The lack of support docs and videos for this overpriced vacuum is really disappointing. Hoping to see a better warranty and support personnel that understand and speak English when you select Contact for USA. Also hoping to see MAJOR improvements to the software and app in the very near future.
Same! Totally frustrating experience. Kept getting 'please check the driving wheel' error msg, which i discovered could mean anything from the dust bin is full, the sensors are dirty, or the driving wheel does actually fluff behind it. It also seemed to go wonky and stop if it had to continually navigate tough transitions between surfaces - kind of like it got overheated and needed the motor to cool down.
@@sosac6646 I moved the mats it was having trouble with (they were thick coir mats that had a very nubbly texture), lifted all of the dining room chairs onto the table, lifted the breakfast bar stools onto the bar and shut the doors into the carpeted bedrooms. I then set it to map and it mapped my main living, dining, study and kitchen with no further problems. Once it has the area mapped, if its running and 'discovers' a new area, it adds to the map. I usually run the cleaning as custom now and cut out the area that doesn't include the coir mats.

I purchased 950. While the company manufacturers decent products it is lagging behind the software. If you go to app stores lot of folks complained about below average software. I personally experienced lot of glitches in their software. Without a excellent software any robust hardware will look bad. I hope the company will pay attention to correct the issues.
I think the machine itself is great, but the APP is terrible. It's not at all intuitive. What is needed is a video which SLOWLY goes through the different steps needed to operate the machine.

My 901 was replaced under warranty but the replacement 937 was not functional as the battery pack was dead (died halfway through the cycle and would go to charge). After the difficult customer service, they replaced that robot with a new defective unit 937… After I tried to receive customer service for the defective unit I currently have, they told me I was no longer under warranty… I was only outside of my warranty because they take so long to communicate, and they sent me two defective units! I communicated my frustration to customer service, to which they have not been helpful… I had suggested this product promoted it even freely to coworkers, and now I couldn’t even get my robot to make one complete cycle. The robot will sometimes make a complete pass, it is so sporadic on if it will be successful or not… Sometimes it will start and do fine and halfway through the cycle it'll start spinning in circles and hit things constantly. Nothing is tangled or stuck including the bumper, and it is mostly on hardwood floors but it also messes up on carpet. Also it does not go in the horizontal lines as my 901 had, rather it has an isometric pattern… It’s very inefficient for my floor plan. Any help or suggestions?

@@Hivydar It was the AIVI T8 it has a vibrating mop. Another also came from ECOVACS which supposedly is way better than the AIVI t8 at recognizing stuff.

This app is terribly designed. Trying to set up custom maps and boundaries and there’s no button to add, edit, or delete areas. Between that and the fact that the Unit can never manage to get up onto its charging dock/emptying system without help and it makes it feel like it’s more work than vacuuming ourselves.
There is another model Ozmo T8 AIVI Model D-AS01 for $249 at Walt-Mart, is this the same or different Manufacturer? The Brand is ECOVACS ROBOTICS INC, I would like more info on this please. Thank you
Ecovac's is right. If you push directly down on the top of the areas that snap into the water tank it will pop off. This is pretty jarring though and definitely feels wrong until it feels right hahaha.

This app is beyond confusing. I've done the same thing, mapped the house using auto. It shows me the damn map. But I go to area clean and it says need to map the house. What the hell does that mean? For the cost of this thing, having such a shitty app is absurd.
Anyone looking to buy , dont buy. It is difficult to figure out each step. Simple things like deleting or resetting virtual boundaries. It takes hours to set this up and dismantle etc. if you ate trying to save time, run…
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Anti drop sensors keep this unit from doing its job. You will have to reset anti drop sensors 15 to 20 times in a week. You must be supervising this unit all the time, otherwise it will not do the job as anti drop sensors needs a lot of attention. There is no DISABLE OPTION feature in the app to disable the ANTI DROP sensors, and many people have been complaining about that issue since 2019. So far, NO UPDATES on the app. Another issue, the ECOVACS Deebot T8 AIVI Robot reset maps 2 to 4 times in a month, which is a headache. STAY WAY from ECOVACS products because it’s not worth it and buy a better well know brand on the market. I think this vacuum is like a test version to find out problems where people can complain.
