Hi, thanks for the great videos. I've cleaned the LDS on my 920 and the belt is good condition, however, the vacuum remains on the charger with the side brushes spinning and the LDS moving, but the unit doesn't depart and commence cleaning. Any ideas? The drop senesors look in good condition, and we've never used the mop function so nil corrosion etc.
I am right now trying to fix lds blocked issue. I cleaned most of the dirt. Belt is ok. Motor is making some sound consistently. I donot know if it is ok. Motor starting speeding and pausing. When the is removed the motor i working as you described. But still lds blocked voice is played

Hi Thanks so much for the LDS malfunction resolution as we do not have any service centre nearby. Another issue is robot motor starts automatically whenever power goes off and the robot parked in docking station. It doesn’t move but motor starts running whenever power goes off ? What should we do to redress this ? Thanks for your guidance 😊
My deebot has the same problem, but after just moving a bit the laser, it starts working again. Or better it works for some cleanings and after it sticks again. What do you think?
Actually LDS/ D-Tof doesn't turn continuously...it stop after few seconds then run again & build the map...this is how LDS assembly work...but if while turning it makes some grinding sounds or bit Sharp sounds.... means LDS assembly will give error but maybe for a while start working....in this situation LDS assembly need to replace

But now I wanted to ask you for some info, if you can help me understand, I have a Deebot 920 at home, I disassembled the LDS laser to clean it, but when reassembling it, I realized that I had inserted the plug of the LDS laser cable that goes to the board inverted mother, so I reassembled and turned the pin on the laser, now it DOESN'T turn anymore, it tells me it's blocked, but I turn it easily with my finger. I tried to reset the deebot, from the button next to the mention, but nothing to do, do you think it can be solved somehow? Thanks for your help, I'm waiting, have a good life.
In motherboard in front there's no other clip with same size...so it's not possible to fix LDS wire somewhere else... it's ok..just fix back all wires at correct place hopefully will be ok if LDS totally not moving then might be Core board issue or LDS issue

In India there's only one service centre in newdehli you need to replace coreboard in 80% cases just coreboard issue...or can order online from Ali Xpress or Amazon etc
My deebot is still giving LDS error after cleaning. The LDS unit is rotating nicely. I observed that the white wheel which rotates the LDS unit, stops after few rotations and then rotates again. This happens twice and the deebot shows LDS error. What might be the issue?
@@josephchandy9006 couldn't fix it. The company said that LDS has to be replaced. However, I think that there might be something wrong with the board supplying power to it. The company service guy just came and cleaned it and said it won't work. I think they don't have a good technical repair service team. All they suggested was buy new LDS or buy a new bot.
I'm getting an LDS error, but my LDS sensor is not dirty. When I try to rotate with the belt attached, it doesn't rotate as fast as you do, and it struggles to turn. When I test the motor with a 9V battery alone, it spins very fast. When it's connected with the belt, it spins slowly. Do you think it's a roller bearing problem or a motor issue? Should I completely replace the LDS sensor?

Hello. Thanks a lot for sharing that. I've followed the instructions however I still get the error. I get the message and the LDS is not turning at all. I've checked the motor separately and was able to turn it on (spined without issues), from the motherboard I also managed to confirm the power is coming to the LDS assembly. Should I assume that replacing the LDS assembly is possibly the solution? Or can it be related to the motherboard also? Thanks in advance and btw I have a model 950.
Make sure if ur original LDS assembly is turning but deebot still not moving then then maybe core board issue or motherboard...but if LDS totally not moving then Just replace the LDS Assembly

After 2 years might be LDS assembly need some service... you can serve first then reset full deebot... reconnect & save new maps if all parts ok then it will return to charger successfully..else LDS or core board issue possible

Don't use WD-40 spray in LDS assembly...plz remove the belt n try to turn LDS see weather can turn freely...if yes then just LDS motor became slower...need to replace LDS motor only...you can find motor from electronic component sellers...or if you can find full LDS assembly will be more easy but bit expensive
Im having an issue with an Ozmo 950. it cleans and when its returning to the charging dock it stops right in front of it a couple feet away or less and rotates back and forth like its not recognizing it. Any advise on this. its in a location free of infared interferance or sunlight.
Sorry for the late reply....plz put the deebot in front of charger around 2 feet away n give command from mobile app. Return to charger see weather can catch signal or not....plz check Ur deebot bumper got dusty or alot of scratch on it...it effects to catch signal...can use car wax or any polish to make ur deebot bumper shiny can rubb with soft cloth....if still same then 2 reasons. Might be charger not giving signal or maybe deebot bumper faulty...can not catch signal from charger..

Normally after replacing the new LDS assembly deebot start moving as normal....in few cases I face this issue that I replaced cored board then start working...&. Few cases I face need to replace main board & LDS as well together then only deebot works

LDS assembly need to replace.... LDS error occurred when something wrong with LDS not due to Anti-Drop Sensors.... check with seller for lds assembly for 920 or 950 model...both using same LDS

Ok..in T8 aivi you need to replace motherboard+ under the motherboard got one small chip attached with carpet sensor n motherboard through wire these parts will replace together then only Will move...if you just change motherboard then that motherboard also will be short circuit..can not use again

Actually in this case need to test 3 parts one by one.,.. beside the mother board got small coar board attach with a chip, 2nd LDS n 3rd part is main board...but can confirm after replace that part...so far no way to test with multi meter....

I followed your steps to clean eveything. But the robot will randomly just stop and say LDS error during cleaning. Sometimes press the button it can resume but most of the time just keep saying LDS error. I bought from some reseller here and they said no more replacement part for the LDS component 😢
Some time is not LDS assembly issue...I hope ur original LDS also still good... sometimes if deebot totally won't move out from charger then we need to replace Core board..located next to motherboard a small 3 inches electric board attached with motherboard using a chip.....& Some time motherboard issue as well...in Ur case might be it's not LDS assembly problem...plz check rest two parts

If Ozmo 920. Then there shouldn't be beep error because in this model got the voice msg...It will give voice msg error then easy to know what's the issue...but I let you know 7 beep error means Anti drop sensors issue..plz check it's anti drop sensors

Hi, I have the same problem: after turning my ozmo 950 DX9G on I hear the starting tune and the lights are slowly flashing. Then I hear 7 beeps/chimes, which keeps repeating every minute or so. Hitting the reset button doesn't work. In a comment on another video you mention it might be the coreboard (the smaller electronics board, inside the L-shape motherboard. I took the coreboard out and it doesn't do 7 beeps/chimes anymore, so I think this is the problem. I found replacement part online, but they are for different model number. You think it will work? They sell CORH0-1205B_V1.5_A and mine is CORH0-1205B_V1.5_B.
My debit is not working. It's not switching on and when I tried to place it on the charging dock it's giving warnings to switch it on and showing then is warning that the power is low... What do I do with this?? Any service centers in Hyderabad.

If it's ozmo 950 n LDS not turning then plz check LDS wire connections... attach underneath LDS... make sure fixed from right side.. for testing purpose can remove LDS belt n see weather motor turning or not. If motor also not turning then maybe wire connections got issue or Mainboard is faulty
My LDS rotation is smooth and nothing is blocking the sensor or the belt but the sensor rotates for about 30secs and then stops for 5 secs and then again rotates for 30secs and then stops again for 5. This happens 4 times till i finnally get that "LASER SENSOR IS BLOCKED"
Plz after power on wait few seconds let it ready to use....once auto button light stop blinking then press reset button & hold for 7 second. After 7 second once you hear the sound resting to default settings then wait for few seconds let it reset properly...then follow normal procedure for connecting WiFi... hopefully will work
If you still unable to connect this App kindly check below setting for your router & smartphone. Failed to connect to APP Check your smart phone and make sure: 1. Make sure your cell phone is connected to a 2.4 G wi-fi. 2. You've chosen the correct wi-fi with correct password. 3. You’ve successfully logged into ECOVACS HOME APP. And it’s updated to the latest version. 4. The ECOVACS HOME APP is allowed to get access to wireless data including WLAN & Cellular. 4.1. If the handphone is auto connect to 5G wifi, kindly forget this network and choose the 2.4G wifi accordingly. 5. Please turn OFF the cellular network of your smartphone. 5.1. Make sure that the app is allowed to access WLAN&Cellular. 6. Kill the APP process completely from your smart phone, then re-open to try. 7. Please try to use hotspot from another cell phone as the wi-fi signal see if it works, please note some of the android phone may have compatible issue as some of the brand has their own customize change on Android system). 8. If you're using Android phone, please turn ON the location services. 9. Please don’t use Google smart phone or Nokia 7P, or Huawei P20 as our machine has some compatible issue with them. Check your router and make sure: 1. It’s emitting a 2.4 G signal. 2. Please avoid using 5G signal, if it's a dual band router, turn off the 5G signal, avoid special letter in the password. 2.1. Set your wifi name and password with simple letters and numbers. Deebot may have trouble identifying special symbols. 3. It doesn't have any MAC address filter function enable, the data transferring channel is set between 1 - 13 4. It is well connected to the internet. 5. Its security key protection mode is set at WPA/WPA2 (please note WEP is NOT working). 5.1. Make sure not using VPN (Virtual Private Network) or proxy server. 5.2. Make sure that the router does not have a Wifi isolation enabled. 5.3. Make sure the router support IPv4. 5.4. If using network extender or repeater, the network name and password are same as the primary network. 6. Turn the router OFF and ON then retry. Check your DEEBOT and make sure: 1. It is less than 2 meters away from the router. 2. When you pressing the reset key, make sure it’s a short press (only 1-2 seconds), if you press the reset key for more than 6 seconds, the machine will be reset.

2 possible reasons.... might be Core board or LDS issue...in some cases motherboard also need to replace most likely is core board or LDS issue

Hi, my lds is still not spinning. The motor does not show any voltage. The big connector for lds shows around 3.5V does that maybe mean I have to get a new LDS?

Thanks so much for the LDS malfunction resolution as we do not have any service centre nearby.
Another issue is robot motor starts automatically whenever power goes off and the robot parked in docking station. It doesn’t move but motor starts running whenever power goes off ? What should we do to redress this ? Thanks for your guidance 😊

My deebot has the same problem, but after just moving a bit the laser, it starts working again. Or better it works for some cleanings and after it sticks again. What do you think?
Actually LDS/ D-Tof doesn't turn continuously...it stop after few seconds then run again & build the map...this is how LDS assembly work...but if while turning it makes some grinding sounds or bit Sharp sounds.... means LDS assembly will give error but maybe for a while start working....in this situation LDS assembly need to replace

Hi, I always follow your videos, you explain very well, you make everything seem so easy. But now I wanted to ask you for some info, if you can help me understand, I have a Deebot 920 at home, I disassembled the LDS laser to clean it, but when reassembling it, I realized that I had inserted the plug of the LDS laser cable that goes to the board inverted mother, so I reassembled and turned the pin on the laser, now it DOESN'T turn anymore, it tells me it's blocked, but I turn it easily with my finger. I tried to reset the deebot, from the button next to the mention, but nothing to do, do you think it can be solved somehow? Thanks for your help, I'm waiting, have a good life.
In motherboard in front there's no other clip with same size...so it's not possible to fix LDS wire somewhere else... it's ok..just fix back all wires at correct place hopefully will be ok if LDS totally not moving then might be Core board issue or LDS issue

In India there's only one service centre in newdehli you need to replace coreboard in 80% cases just coreboard issue...or can order online from Ali Xpress or Amazon etc

My deebot is still giving LDS error after cleaning. The LDS unit is rotating nicely. I observed that the white wheel which rotates the LDS unit, stops after few rotations and then rotates again. This happens twice and the deebot shows LDS error. What might be the issue?

@@josephchandy9006 couldn't fix it. The company said that LDS has to be replaced. However, I think that there might be something wrong with the board supplying power to it. The company service guy just came and cleaned it and said it won't work. I think they don't have a good technical repair service team. All they suggested was buy new LDS or buy a new bot.

I'm getting an LDS error, but my LDS sensor is not dirty. When I try to rotate with the belt attached, it doesn't rotate as fast as you do, and it struggles to turn. When I test the motor with a 9V battery alone, it spins very fast. When it's connected with the belt, it spins slowly. Do you think it's a roller bearing problem or a motor issue? Should I completely replace the LDS sensor?
LDS assembly won't move very fast...if LDS is turning still can't move the deebot then sometimes Core board also can be deflected...

Thank you for your help. When I took a closer look again, I noticed some dirt around the small black sensor inside the LDS card. I cleaned it with alcohol and a brush. The device is working now.

Worked great. Was just dust settled so opening and cleaning worked for me

Hello. Thanks a lot for sharing that. I've followed the instructions however I still get the error. I get the message and the LDS is not turning at all. I've checked the motor separately and was able to turn it on (spined without issues), from the motherboard I also managed to confirm the power is coming to the LDS assembly. Should I assume that replacing the LDS assembly is possibly the solution? Or can it be related to the motherboard also? Thanks in advance and btw I have a model 950.
Most likely is LDS assembly Only need to replace...
Make sure if ur original LDS assembly is turning but deebot still not moving then then maybe core board issue or motherboard...but if LDS totally not moving then Just replace the LDS Assembly

Hello! I have a DEEBO OZMO 950, for a few months now it keeps creating wrong maps and cannot get back to the charging DOCK.
otherwise everything works, the DEEBOT is 2 and a half years old.

After 2 years might be LDS assembly need some service... you can serve first then reset full deebot... reconnect & save new maps if all parts ok then it will return to charger successfully..else LDS or core board issue possible

Hello, thank you for the video. Althought i opened and cleaned the LDS unit, LDS does not rotate easily and quickly. Could it be the cause of the LDS problem? How do I make it rotate freely? WD40 :D ?
Don't use WD-40 spray in LDS assembly...plz remove the belt n try to turn LDS see weather can turn freely...if yes then just LDS motor became slower...need to replace LDS motor only...you can find motor from electronic component sellers...or if you can find full LDS assembly will be more easy but bit expensive

Im having an issue with an Ozmo 950. it cleans and when its returning to the charging dock it stops right in front of it a couple feet away or less and rotates back and forth like its not recognizing it. Any advise on this. its in a location free of infared interferance or sunlight.
Sorry for the late reply....plz put the deebot in front of charger around 2 feet away n give command from mobile app. Return to charger see weather can catch signal or not....plz check Ur deebot bumper got dusty or alot of scratch on it...it effects to catch signal...can use car wax or any polish to make ur deebot bumper shiny can rubb with soft cloth....if still same then 2 reasons. Might be charger not giving signal or maybe deebot bumper faulty...can not catch signal from charger..
what if my cleaner stopped working after 5-7 min? saying lds mailfunction than afte wont do anything? I have replaced the laser(not the full spining part) could it be something like mainboard issue? or laser mainboard? thanks
Normally after replacing the new LDS assembly deebot start moving as normal....in few cases I face this issue that I replaced cored board then start working...&. Few cases I face need to replace main board & LDS as well together then only deebot works

If just rotating at one place n can't move forward then its not an LDS issy . you must watch my video related to this topic...its a wheel issue sir....if ur deebot is turning clockwise then right wheel got problem if turning anticlockwise then left wheel issue

Sir, i followed the instruction in this video and there's nothing got jammed. My lds sensor can turn freely, and i check the belt is still okay. But i keep got the LDS malfunction. Mine is deebot 920. Can it be caused by the anti drop sensor located under the deebot? My anti drop sensor look dusty from the inside, i cant clean it
LDS assembly need to replace.... LDS error occurred when something wrong with LDS not due to Anti-Drop Sensors.... check with seller for lds assembly for 920 or 950 model...both using same LDS

Ok..in T8 aivi you need to replace motherboard+ under the motherboard got one small chip attached with carpet sensor n motherboard through wire these parts will replace together then only Will move...if you just change motherboard then that motherboard also will be short circuit..can not use again

If all you tested looks ok then it means LDS assembly is faulty...plz check with your seller for LDS assembly...you can replace urself at home if you can get online...

Hello, as there's no service centre nearby... I opened and checked the LDS, belt is fine, it is rotating, no dust... Still it's saying "LDS is blocked please clean it"... What may be the problem please guide...
Actually in this case need to test 3 parts one by one.,.. beside the mother board got small coar board attach with a chip, 2nd LDS n 3rd part is main board...but can confirm after replace that part...so far no way to test with multi meter....

I followed your steps to clean eveything. But the robot will randomly just stop and say LDS error during cleaning. Sometimes press the button it can resume but most of the time just keep saying LDS error. I bought from some reseller here and they said no more replacement part for the LDS component 😢
Some time is not LDS assembly issue...I hope ur original LDS also still good... sometimes if deebot totally won't move out from charger then we need to replace Core board..located next to motherboard a small 3 inches electric board attached with motherboard using a chip.....& Some time motherboard issue as well...in Ur case might be it's not LDS assembly problem...plz check rest two parts

But 1 thing worth mentioning, I just turn off the deebot and charger for few hours whenever it keeps giving LDS error. Then it can move out from charger and starts cleaning after I turning back on the deebot and charger. But yea, it will report LDS error after cleaning for few minutes and stuck on the error again.
And is that true that they no longer supply the replacement parts for 950? For me is quite unacceptable on a not even 5 years product? I might be wrong but I just purchased it 2 years ago

If Ozmo 920. Then there shouldn't be beep error because in this model got the voice msg...It will give voice msg error then easy to know what's the issue...but I let you know 7 beep error means Anti drop sensors issue..plz check it's anti drop sensors

Hi, I have the same problem: after turning my ozmo 950 DX9G on I hear the starting tune and the lights are slowly flashing. Then I hear 7 beeps/chimes, which keeps repeating every minute or so. Hitting the reset button doesn't work. In a comment on another video you mention it might be the coreboard (the smaller electronics board, inside the L-shape motherboard. I took the coreboard out and it doesn't do 7 beeps/chimes anymore, so I think this is the problem. I found replacement part online, but they are for different model number. You think it will work? They sell CORH0-1205B_V1.5_A and mine is CORH0-1205B_V1.5_B.
My debit is not working. It's not switching on and when I tried to place it on the charging dock it's giving warnings to switch it on and showing then is warning that the power is low... What do I do with this?? Any service centers in Hyderabad.
May I know which model u r using madam...if it's not Ozmo 950 then most likely is just battery issue...but if it's Ozmo 950 model & it can't charge means motherboard issue

If it's ozmo 950 n LDS not turning then plz check LDS wire connections... attach underneath LDS... make sure fixed from right side.. for testing purpose can remove LDS belt n see weather motor turning or not. If motor also not turning then maybe wire connections got issue or Mainboard is faulty
Only 5% chances of Mainboard issue....95% cases is only LDS assembly need to replace

If deebot can go straight...or just turn at one place only then plz check the wheels first.... might be a wheel issue only
My LDS rotation is smooth and nothing is blocking the sensor or the belt but the sensor rotates for about 30secs and then stops for 5 secs and then again rotates for 30secs and then stops again for 5. This happens 4 times till i finnally get that "LASER SENSOR IS BLOCKED"

Plz after power on wait few seconds let it ready to use....once auto button light stop blinking then press reset button & hold for 7 second. After 7 second once you hear the sound resting to default settings then wait for few seconds let it reset properly...then follow normal procedure for connecting WiFi... hopefully will work
If you still unable to connect this App kindly check below setting for your router & smartphone.
Failed to connect to APP Check your smart phone and make sure:
1. Make sure your cell phone is connected to a 2.4 G wi-fi.
2. You've chosen the correct wi-fi with correct password.
3. You’ve successfully logged into ECOVACS HOME APP. And it’s updated to the latest version.
4. The ECOVACS HOME APP is allowed to get access to wireless data including WLAN & Cellular.
4.1. If the handphone is auto connect to 5G wifi, kindly forget this network and choose the 2.4G wifi accordingly.
5. Please turn OFF the cellular network of your smartphone.
5.1. Make sure that the app is allowed to access WLAN&Cellular.
6. Kill the APP process completely from your smart phone, then re-open to try.
7. Please try to use hotspot from another cell phone as the wi-fi signal see if it works, please note some of the android phone may have compatible issue as some of the brand has their own customize change on Android system).
8. If you're using Android phone, please turn ON the location services.
9. Please don’t use Google smart phone or Nokia 7P, or Huawei P20 as our machine has some compatible issue with them.
Check your router and make sure:
1. It’s emitting a 2.4 G signal.
2. Please avoid using 5G signal, if it's a dual band router, turn off the 5G signal, avoid special letter in the password.
2.1. Set your wifi name and password with simple letters and numbers. Deebot may have trouble identifying special symbols.
3. It doesn't have any MAC address filter function enable, the data transferring channel is set between 1 - 13
4. It is well connected to the internet.
5. Its security key protection mode is set at WPA/WPA2 (please note WEP is NOT working).
5.1. Make sure not using VPN (Virtual Private Network) or proxy server.
5.2. Make sure that the router does not have a Wifi isolation enabled.
5.3. Make sure the router support IPv4.
5.4. If using network extender or repeater, the network name and password are same as the primary network.
6. Turn the router OFF and ON then retry.
Check your DEEBOT and make sure:
1. It is less than 2 meters away from the router.
2. When you pressing the reset key, make sure it’s a short press (only 1-2 seconds), if you press the reset key for more than 6 seconds, the machine will be reset.
