THE MOST AMAZING NEWFOUNDLAND SNOWMOBILE ADVENTURE

  • Luke and Vern accept an invitation from the Newfoundland & Labrador Snowmobile Federation along with Craig Borden from Rugged Edge to experience some of Canada's most amazing and breathtaking snowmobile landscapes. While on the ground they meet up with the most recently crowned North American Top Snowmobiler and native Newfoundlander - Dustin Boyd and partake in some fun off-trail riding in Lewis Hills.
    Then Bob and Tony from the Newfoundland & Labrador Snowmobile Federation along with Craig Borden from Rugged Edge lead Luke, Vern and Dustin on tour showcasing the grand vistas of Woody Point and the surrounding area are Gros Morne National park. After a spectacular day on the trails the group stays the night at the legendary Jackladder where they partake in a traditional kitchen party and celebrate the conclusion to an amazing adventure.

    Canada is such a lucky country to have such a majestic province like Newfoundland. I can honestly say that I have only ever heard warm and kind comments from friends about the people of Newfoundland, their hospitality is second to none. I am from Ontario and visiting Newfoundland is definitely on my vacation destination bucket list.

    I lives on the west coast of newfoundland and I got to say the island is a wonderful spot for snowmobiling on the winter months

    I still have a cottage about a direct mile across Bonne Bay Big Pond from The Jack Ladder. I spent many an evening at the "cabin" and the Jack Ladder having a few swallies with friends. I now live in paradise outside St. John's. I miss the place...

    i live in nl and i was there today and it was grate im from the other side of this island so i got a tour and i think more people should go there. i went in to the shiver shack to its nice.

    Hate to break it to you, but Cains Quest is the greatest adventure in Newfoundland AND Labrador... but it ain't for the faint of heart.

    my grandparents came from Blackhead newfoundland my cousins have come to Mulleys cove where u not shure but our grandparents are Mulleys so it might be possibly

    Man u guys should try to find some old sleds to ride in Newfoundland when you come back and see what it's like, most fun thing you can ever do. I have a 96 vmax 600 twin and riding here in New Wes valley is hallarious keeping up with modern 800s

      @@snowtrax exactly, that is what you guys should do. Go on Facebook, nlclassafieds or whatever, have a couple of hours to fix the sleds up then ride for a weekend.

    What were the average temperatures during winter

      Probably -10 to -15 Celsius. It rarely gets real cold but the wind can get strong and make it a lot colder. It can also get pretty mild and rain too.
