Really enjoying the lesson so far. I love the stone roses and i wanna be adored/i am the resurrection are 2 of my fav songs, i keep coming back to the lessons on your channel in the hope i will one day have the talent to play a decent version of them. Been grinding away at the don’t look back in anger solo lesson you done, as it seems to use a lot of similar techniques and i don’t mind if i get bored listening to that song haha. Ps i really appreciate the amount of effort you go to make these accurate and easy to follow

I feel like I've been learning this song as long as I've been playing guitar. This an excellent video, one of the best tutorials on UA-cam, don't bother with a load of faff, no need to explain what a B chord is, just get on with it!

@@jasonq111 I must have been 10 or 11 the first time I picked up the guitar and I'm 25 now so it's been a little while haha! It's taken a lot of picking it up and getting frustrated throwing it down before I got anywhere, but never the less here we are! Greetings from the UK!

@@jasonq111 Jason, amazing stuff! Keep doing what you're doing, keep plugging away at it! I used to practice those pentatonic scales to death haha, however I found the thing which put me into the next level was definitely understanding some theory! How to write a song, chords within a key signature, then how to solo within a chord progression, and then studying some songs (like how we do on these lessons) I'm really really overdue doing Slide Away I haha, will be doing that soon, love Listen Up as well! I think the opening riff is almost identical to Supersonic haha! Wow Austin Texas, what an amazing place, Love to visit it!

Haha I'll try and get through Resurrection before I give myself another instrumental headache xD Seahorses are another one of those bands i've been floating around for a while now, Love is the law would be the track I would go for to be honest!

Hi Aaron! I've got a really odd set up to get this sound, simply - clean sound on the amp (pretty even on the EQ) then a TC Electronics Hyperdrive Compressor to further help smooth out the tone, and finally I'm using the chorus setting on my Whammy V pedal haha! All the best Aaron, I'm gonna have to make a video on sounds at some point!

Hi ant. Help..... the B major at the start of the verse. Are you muting the bottom 2 and the top e strings?
Hi Glenn! Yeah so I'm doing that simplified version of the B major chord so I can free up my pinky finger, you're 100% right the D string is the lowest note (missing out the A and E) as for the high E string you can do either! I think in the example I muted it! All the best Glenn 👍

Hi Nick - I think changing the playback speed only works when you access UA-cam from a web-browser on your computer (not a mobile!) but glad you enjoyed the lesson!
