Love your humble approach, it’s very watchable and genuine. Great advice, too - I had written apistos off as aggro but it just so happens I have space in my soft acidic tetra tank for a centrepiece fish, hmmm maybe I need to rethink my stance!
Agree with you Angie! Nick is a very good fishkeeping. He has also motivated me to make my aquarium channel. 🐠🐟
Nice ideas!
I’ve just bought a 8 foot rack for the garage. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet. Thinking of doing a bunch of 2 footers on one rack, and maybe breeding some kribs in one. Maybe a small colony of shell dwellers in another. Maybe even Rams in one.
Isn’t it a shame, that at the start and end of a video, you have to ask people not to get upset if they don’t agree. Sad state we m’ve gotten ourselves in isn’t it!
Excellent information for those of us who are getting started with fishkeeping.
Great video. I’d love to see more from you for sure
Your new "cinematic" style lf video is a great step up bro👌👌👌good job.... Hello from south africa btw 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Are you from zim ?
@@Billy-dg3ththts not even in south africa
Awesome vids bro they help heaps!!
Ohhhh I love this ❤️❤️❤️❤️ bro I hope you do video again about guppy and guppy breeding.. I remember you have guppy content before.
Very cool video. I'm quite jealous that you have access to so many tanks and different fish :P
nice video, we have been thinking about getting a 20 or 30 gallon tank soon.
Love your videos!🙃❤️
Thank you
Great video!
Pearl Danios are my favorite. Teamed with Borneo suckers.
I was waiting for so long
Nice suggestions man! Pretty much got of them aside from apistos. Maybe got to get some soon.
Thanks you defs should
love you vids
question please answer
how did you make your website?????
keep up the good work you have made my day for the last week
You should make another video that has numbers, for example your beta video, where you said how much you made. That was really useful and very interesting.
I completely agree with this list from my experience of keeping them
Me too! What fish do you keep?
Amazing video
Great video, thanks for sharing
I know right? It's awesome! He also motivated me to create a fish chanel. :)
Great video. On the part about danios, although you didn’t mention giant danios as an option, I would have added a caveat that those would be too big for a 20 gallon tank. Just for those newbies who don’t know anything about those.
I agree! I kept giant danios before. I'm going to be making a video about that soon! ;)
Great video, fish tank.
Nice list
Great job Nick, sorry it took me so long to watch, great content as always. Hope you get to 100k soon, you deserve it :)
To be honest my beginner tank was a 5 gallon
Same
My very first was a lil cup. Then a 2.5 then a 10 and now I have 8 tanks and have learned from old mistakes. I have a fish rack that has 6 tanks on it the rack is meant for breeding I have a freshwater display tank and I have a reef tank.
This dude is awesome definitely need some of them black rams
Thanks
So if i wanted to do Panda corys and zebra danios how many would i be able to get into a 20 long. I was thinking about six panda and the rest danio but not sure how many.
❤Always be happy. Love your viedos
Me too! His videos are so awesome! I made a fishkeeping channel because I was inspired by him! 😄
Great vid man could you do a 35 gal next please
I have a question I have two blue rams and one gold ram and one bristlenose and 6 headlight tetras in a 20 long planted aquarium. Can I add a dwarf catfish or should I stop 🛑 adding anymore
Bristlenose Plecos are my favorite bottom dweller, but I wouldn't recommend keeping them with Corydoras or dwarf cichlids in a small tank. I have a female that used to chase around my Bolivian Ram, and another female that was bullying my Corydoras before I moved them to their own tank. ..... Some other species I'd recommend for a 20-gallon tank include White Cloud Minnows and a variety of Tetras (Serpaes, Black Neons, Neons, Glowlights, etc.).
Great video. I would like to add don’t keep cories with apisto’s ( possibly the rams too ) because once they start spawning they get super territorial and cory’s can easily lose eyes etc. Cory’s are so sweet and just bumble along doing their thing, not even realising the warning signs until it’s too late.
great vid
Thank you
Great list Nick! I had a male GBR for a little over a year I really miss him! I currently have a male apisto borellii and a group of about 30 cpd fry that I’ve raised up not in with the apisto of course. They are more like teenagers now! Soon I’ll be adding some corys I’d like something on the smaller side.
Sounds cool Nick! KFS really is amazing. He makes so many amazing videos. Small fish youtubers like me are inspired by him.
@@Aquafinity you just received another subscriber 👍🏻
@@SlickNick3 Thanks very much Nick! 😉
Look into Pygmy corydora, they’re cute little things
@@cristovalencia148 since my comment I have picked up 8 Pygmy Corys I absolutely love them they are way smaller than I ever expected I honestly should’ve got 8 more.
Thanks 👍
how many ram fish can i put in a 20 aquarium
Do you know of any ways to make hard water softer I want to get some kind of Apistogramma but you said they like soft water and my water is hard
How is the breeding with the golden Apistogramma going?
Im thinking of starting a 20 long. Im thinking a few sunset honey guaramis, dwarf platys and pygmy corys
How much guppies should I put in my 15 gallon tank, please?
Liked!
How about blue balloon ram. Is it good?
Can i keep danios and sucker fishes with angelfish? 😅
He Nick, can u display liters? Since u have lots of watchers from Europe?
Keep it up
where do you get your tanks from?
Actually, I do have a question. On my previous comment, I said about putting a bunch of 2 foot tanks on the new rack. I’ve got one tank at present ready to go. It’s an Aqua One Horizon 65. Was hoping to be able turn the tanks sideways to fit more on. Will definitely take the weight. I’ve got plenty of support on the rack for the tanks to sit on, via 3/4 plywood. . My question it, these size tanks, there is going to be be almost 3cm overhang either end. Can I get away with this? Tank is 60cm wide, and the rack is just a tad over 54cm of area that can be used, so would be 3cm either end of the tank.Safe?
No I don't think so. U should just get a ply board of 60cm, place it on top of the rack and put ur tank on it. That way the tank is getting support on its edges and the weight is distributed on the rack and u won't have to get a new one
@KerpingFishSimple I know I keep asking but is the website up yet? 😅
Soon !
I was wondering what happened
When’s the store open for orders
Second Fish Guy Here 🐠
Hahaha
yo third
Are these all tropical fish? My local fish store sells zebra danios as cold water
I've had 2 5s, 3 10s, and my first tank wasn't a tank it was a pond insert I brought inside that was 50 gallons and meant for a fountain. all it had was blue rilis and a betta lmao, best tank I've had so far.
Love from india❤
Thanks!
I love dwarf gouramis in a 20g tank.
what about gouromis?
I think Black skirt tetris go great in a 20 gallon tank
man i want some of your black rams. theyre super rare out here
They are! Black rams are also very expensive. Nick is a great fishkeeper. He also inspired me to create my fish channel!
@@Aquafinity they are pretty expensive but worth it. I have this 40 gal just itching for some black rams
@@coryandrews3947 agree!
Hey man can you ship to Florida I sent you a mess age on insta but no answer ?
I upgraded my 10 gallon to a 20 and have been in a search for a centerpiece fosh

I have 2 tanks that takes 15 Gallons each, I was thinking that in one of them I put some guppies, but I don't know what should I put in the other one, maybe swordtails or mollies or platies, I really dont know. Any suggestions?
You can keep a German blue ram with a few bottom dwellers like kuhli loach and corys
@@leatherxrose7743 I never had loaches, I might as well buy some. Thank you
You could keep it simple with mollies. I love mine and they already have a set up social structure lol
First from Germany I guess 👀😂
Subscribed to your channel I love apistos 😀
Hahaha
@@KeepingFishSimple Dude you are my hero! I started with a little setup of 6 tanks and as a newby I bought EVERYTHING the stores offered me. Since I know your videos I’m doing so much DIY stuff and it’s working better and is more fun than just buying the store products! THANK YOU!
@@harrisontropicals2987 Thanks my friend! Trying my best! :)
I think same you
My pleco would attack corydoras and even a much bigger cichlid, especially during feeding. Even the cichlid was a lot more peaceful.
❤🐠🐟
Thanks 🙏
$35 each for orange lazar corys?.. wow.. I have a fish place that I can get 5pk for $44.00.. love my coys
👍
Nick is a great fishkeeper. He also inspired me to create my fish channel!
Why are they fun to watch breed?
Do German Blue Rams need quite high temperature though? they sell them in my local chain store all the time and they always look nice and are pretty cheap like 2 for £12 I think and even though I could get them as I have room and compatible fish when I read about them it always says keep at 30c and stuff and my tanks are 25c.
I think mine were kept at 27 deg. They did fine. I had them with a discus in a 20 tall. I've since moved the Discus to a 100 gal.

FIRST
:)))
I was told Bristlenose are too big for 20 gallon
They might be ok in a 20 long. I had my lemon longfin bristlenose pleco in my 55g. Beautiful specimen you can see on my channel
Almost everywhere on youtube people incorrectly say CPDs are actually rasboras, but its the other way around as they were initially classified rasboras but are now classified as danios. Most shops still have them as Galaxy Rasbora. Anyway imo any fish that grows larger than 2 inches / 5 cm are not suited for a 20 gallon / 75l tank.
20 gallon tank is a beginner tank 😢
I know many advanced aquarists with 20g tanks. When space is a big consideration a 20g can be the perfect solution. Particularly a 20 long.
bro you sound Australian why you talking in gallons?
Id add a sunset honey guarami to the list. Possibly one of my all time favorites along with furcata rainbows
