*7,62-43* *1120/bxn/90* The ammo information is on the tin. "7,62-43" means 7.62x39mm M43 Soviet ammo. "1120" means the number of rounds per crate. "bxn" is the German WW2 / Soviet Warsaw Pact arsenal code for the Zbrojovka Vlasim (nationalized Sellier & Bellot) ammunition plant in Vlasim, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). "90" means the ammo was made in 1990. The ammo comes in 10-round stripper clips packed 2 clips (20 rounds) per unmarked light-blue carton; there are 56 cartons (112 stripper clips) per crate.
My wife watches chocolate being made videos...I watch ammo crates being opened...same effect! I love buying and opening old military ammo by crate...the smell is better then any chocolate!
One thing in sure. The wooden box quality and protection is a sign that the product inside is excellent. Never had any issue with Sellier but have not encountered any of these boxes here in Europe. Regards
Sellier & Bellot is probably the world's oldest ammunition maker, dating to 1825 when a German-French businessman, whose family fled the French Revolution, established a percussion cap factory in Prague on behalf of Emperor Francis I of Austria.
Two tabs are for opening the x and the y axis, the third tab is for lifting the ammo out of the crate, hope that helps for future crates. Good ammo, I have a couple crates myself, shoots good, and is clean. Mine was 80's production so you mileage may very.... Just remembered I had a crate where there was z axis, dump box out of wooden crate then pull x tab open, then y tab open then z tab open and ammo falls out.
The stripper clips of ten rounds probably indicates the intended firearm was the SKS, which took a ten-round stripper clip. But there is probably some reloading device that allows reloading of Kalashnikov AK-47 assault rifle magazines with three, separate stripper clips.
there is, in fact, a cast metal tray that AKM-equipped militaries use to speed-load AK mags in this fashion. it's got a pocket for the mag, a slot for a loaded stripper clip, and a big basin to hold a pile of loose rounds close. you insert the stripper clip into a specific place lined up with the mag, take a loading block, and then ram it straight in.
No device needed. This is Czech ammo packed to load Czech rifle Samopal vz.58. This rifle have stripper clip cut out in in bolt so you put empty magazine in rifle, open bolt (locks on empty mag), push down 3 clips, replace magazine with another empty one and repeat until you load all mags. ua-cam.com/video/iCqElIDUzeI/v-deo.html
I've had both loose and strippered (something about this word doesn't sound right) ammo in identical looking crates, even same numbers etc. Not always clear if the smmo is loose or not. Must be a marking im not catching, i purchase through a local gun shop. I once got ammo on little machine gun clips for a m42 machine gun. I shoot 8mm mauser. Same with identifying corrosive or non corrosive. I can't tell...I just ask for noncorrosive.
Take a piece of dowel rod, slip through ring and pull straight up and across, then put it through both the side ones and pull from the middle to open them at the same time, these are made to be opened in a hurry if needed, so there is a trick to it, so as not to waste time.
I just bought a crate like this and, yes, it is a real bitch to open. I wouldn't want to be under fire trying to get my ammo out. That said, you could bury it in a cache for years without fear of corrosion.
Good Grief! I got a crate of Yugoslavian surplus like that. Have not opened it as I am saving it as a display piece. Not getting in that in any kind of hurry. Yours (and mine) were boxed for use with the SKS, hence the stripper clips.
😎 Now, imagine that you are on the battlefield with the enemy bearing down on you, and you need to open up the ammo in the next 30 seconds and load your sks !!!! 🙄
Just pull the tabs straight up...I've opened these before. You put your foot on the crate and pull the tabs 90 degree straight up. They shouldn't break, although I've had that happen.
good lord! seems like you gotta hook it up to a tank and rip the box open! lol, i guess the adreline would be pumping to get those boxes open but seriously... knuckles of steel to open those bad boys up
Soviet 7.62x39mm ammo doesn't come that way. The ammo on stripper clips is usually for use in SKS carbines - which have a 10-round internal magazine. 7.62x54mmR M1891 Russian ammo comes in 5-round clips.
BXN has a black primer. means fuckin corrosive :D I know a lot about... if you have no chromium plated barrel dont try that. for SSSR weapons it should be ok, because all we have here has chromium
thank you, I know that I am clever. sorry but I do not know what you're talking about, there are several definitions for " muck out " and your comment is not clear for me.
The crate would have markings like this on the front: *1120* *???/90/bxn* *7,62-43* *Tbpl/Fe* *27 kg.* *PE CELOLAK* *Ngsp vz.43 nma* *??/90* The designation for the wooden crate is "PM2". SidneyBroadshead Thank you sir.
Thank you, my friend.
Ngspvz.43 nma , 45/79-bxn is this crosive?
@@wesleyjace1950 I think you have to assume that it is.
My wife watches chocolate being made videos...I watch ammo crates being opened...same effect! I love buying and opening old military ammo by crate...the smell is better then any chocolate!
Agree
Winning combination
You need to first take the metal tin out of the wooden crate. Then you can access the pull tabs and yank in the directions indicated.
One thing in sure. The wooden box quality and protection is a sign that the product inside is excellent. Never had any issue with Sellier but have not encountered any of these boxes here in Europe. Regards
A SKS wet dream...

I'm rooting for this dude. Twist that tab, baby!!! Twist that MF'er!!! cheers!
I was waiting for, SNAP! Lucky for him it never came.
I hear this video was shot over the course of 3 days

That tin is kicking yer ass!
Díky, vaše šikovnost mne fakt pobavila. :-D

How many stitches does it take to close a two inch cut? A pair of gloves might prove to be handy.🤔
"I think they might all be on stripper clips"......ya don't say.
I've had both loose and strippered (something about this word doesn't sound right) ammo in identical looking crates, even same numbers etc. Not always clear if the smmo is loose or not. How many of y'all just wanted to jump in nd help
Makes me appreciate US ammo cans more and more...
No shit!!
It was the dumb American who never figured to try taking the box out of the box first lol! Would think you would appreciate high-quality munitions.

you almost need a hammer and sickle to open the can. hahaha
if you not careful the box will open you
Let's go reap some ammo!
That strips are used by Vz.58, you can load this rifle from above
I just bought a crate like this and, yes, it is a real bitch to open. I wouldn't want to be under fire trying to get my ammo out. That said, you could bury it in a cache for years without fear of corrosion.
Man they are always good rounds but they are always a pain in the ass to reload. The primers are different.
I think the SKS can be loaded using stripper clips, right?
Ayyyyyye real Mil-Surp ammo. Nice haul bro.
Very secure construction.
Jayzus Aitch Christ, there's like 6 million minutes of my life I'll never get back.
Stop the battle , I have to open a cartridge box!
watching shit like this is my asmr or whatever it's called.
Good Grief! I got a crate of Yugoslavian surplus like that. Have not opened it as I am saving it as a display piece. Not getting in that in any kind of hurry. Yours (and mine) were boxed for use with the SKS, hence the stripper clips.
You have way more patients then I do. I would've snapped my crayon long before I got that box open.
Now I know why they wear so many big gaudy Medals...one for eash box of ammo opened ...............................UNDER FIRE! Heheh
Great ammo I wanna cry!
I believe the ring is designed to accept the charging handle on the SKS. Put it in and rip.
😎 Now, imagine that you are on the battlefield with the enemy bearing down on you, and you need to open up the ammo in the next 30 seconds and load your sks !!!! 🙄
so imagine a guy open the box while the others shoot ... it's crazy, no ??!!
Probably gonna die anyways.
Просто продеваешь через кольцо шомпол и тянешь двумя руками вверх, упираясь ногой в коробку.Резким движением.😀👋
how much did you pay and where did you get it?
Запаяно на совесть!
How much for the case?
Just pull the tabs straight up...I've opened these before. You put your foot on the crate and pull the tabs 90 degree straight up. They shouldn't break, although I've had that happen.
How do u go about purchasing a crate of amo like that?
good lord! seems like you gotta hook it up to a tank and rip the box open! lol, i guess the adreline would be pumping to get those boxes open but seriously... knuckles of steel to open those bad boys up
Captured while opening ammo cans
😂😂😂😂😂
The U.S. is good at winning wars. I think getting to ammo cans has a lot to do with it.
Several ways to skin a cat. This is the difficult one...
It's like Christmas.
I love how everything goes wrong lol
When opening the ammo can is as dangerous as the ammo itself…
If you put a screwdriver threw the vise grip it would make it a lot easier just saying
Where should I buy this?
Is there a URL?
I guess the clips are for a SKS so you can use it right ahead
I bet u rip into that faster with some of 5hat ammo flying over heard
than that person opens so the war is over :-)
If you want it open fast find a pothead and tell them there's a 1/4 lb of pot in there. They will turn into Macgyver in 2 seconds flat.
Cool boots. What kind are they?
How I did to buy this ammo box?
Good vice grip s made. I and invented in Nebraska by a farmer
Use the acetylene torch........
It was difficult watching this guy struggle
Were can i buy a box like this
What do you pay for something like this ???
*Brits had the same problem in S Afrika during the Colonial Wars*
🤣🤣
FFS I am going to be eligible for retirement by the time he is done opening this crate.
All in stripper clips....kick ass!!!
Plz tel me the country wich manufacture this ammo
Czech
Everyone knows you're supposed to use a cutting torch
Good
I was thinking about picking one of these up from Wholesale sports as well… I was hoping that they were 5 round stripper clips though.
Soviet 7.62x39mm ammo doesn't come that way. The ammo on stripper clips is usually for use in SKS carbines - which have a 10-round internal magazine.
7.62x54mmR M1891 Russian ammo comes in 5-round clips.
not in canada :(
whiteboy7thst24 , well we do have 10 round mags, but they have to be pinned to reduce the capacity to 5 rounds because of some inane law 🙄
Really sad Wholesale Sports is gone.😢
What! You need a toolbox to open the damn thing.
BXN has a black primer. means fuckin corrosive :D I know a lot about... if you have no chromium plated barrel dont try that. for SSSR weapons it should be ok, because all we have here has chromium
or you can clean your weapon after use ... it works very well too !!
such a clever guy... rather muck out in france... you know what I mean ;)
thank you, I know that I am clever.
sorry but I do not know what you're talking about, there are several definitions for " muck out " and your comment is not clear for me.
thats for mossin nagan amoo suply
Li U MAAA No it's not it's for an sks.
Li U MAAA : or for AK's
The stripper clips would even work with a VZ 58
Bet you wish you saved this present day
Looks like you need to read the field manual. It is bad form to play press and guess on U Tube.
Is guys a few cents short of a dollar
Made in Checoslovaquia
A bit of overkill, no??
Purely for SKS
truesightgrabber accually the vz58 and vz2008 can also be loaded with the same stripper clips
If full blown war struck eastern europe half the soldiers would be out of action due to trying to open these cans
if you still get on could i talk you out of afew stripper clips
This guy has no idea at all, he shouldn't be allowed to buy ammo!!!!
Это не Советская штатная тара 7,62мм патрона обр.43 г. с пулей ПС
Он бы ещё пинцетом этот цинк открывал😁. В кольцо просунуть отвертку или шомпол, ну никак не догадаться.
Svbi izgunili na liniji dok on otvori ssduk
Get yourself some real Vice Grips instead of those cheap knockoffs
Weak men, go to forest, chop wood, be strong.
Can food for guns lol
что с руками?безрукий что ли?
Maybe you don't know how to open it.
They'd be dead by the time they opened that. There must be a squaddie's technique?
You took something simple and made it difficult....
The crate would have markings like this on the front:

*7,62-43* *Tbpl/Fe*
*27 kg.* *PE CELOLAK*
*Ngsp vz.43 nma* *??/90*

*1120* = Number of rounds
*???/90/bxn* = Lot Number ###/ Production Year 1990 / Sellier & Bellot
*7,62-43* = 7.62x39mm M43 Soviet
*Tbpl/Fe* = _Tombakovýplech_ ("Gilding-metal clad") / _Ferrum_ (Latin > Iron) gilding-metal clad Steel cartridge case.
*27 kg.* = Gross Weight of crate.
*PE CELOLAK* = ("with Thermoplastic Foil") The inside of the cartridge necks are lined with a thermoplastic lacquer sealant.

А где SKS?????? А пастрелюшки? Зажал?
Обычный консервный нож за Две минуты открыл бы мучился целый час 👎😬🥴
metes un hierro por las anillas y tiras, lumbreras.
Very secure construction.
