I cannot speak for anyone other than myself but I've fired a fair number of calibers, both rifle and pistols, using S&B ammo and can state without hesitation that I would NEVER feel undergunned or lacking when using S&B ammo or products. It's just that good. Now this isn't to say that I prefer them over any other ammo manufacturer but bullet to bullet in any select caliber, S&B makes a large group of FINE products! LAV, thank you for giving us an inside look at their facilities.
Mr. Vickers, I wanted to mention an off topic. As you have served in a calling that takes physical abilities very soon, and weight being the result. So you are an endless encouragement, as even being broken and injured, you have figured out how to exercise and become peak shape looking. I saw your workout video, and the why I am fat clip. Yet nothing stands too high for you to achieve. Keep it up, and congratulations for the payoff of relentless persistence.
Love S&B ammo. Been shooting the 9mm 115gr in IDPA for about 10 years now with never a failure and now added the 45acp to that mix. Also have had great luck with the 12 ga. shotgun shells. Just a great product at a reasonable price.
I shoot tons of S&B here in Wisconsin and love the ammo very consistent with almost no failures. 9mm, 45 ACP and there 300 Blackout are excellent. S&B sub sonic 209 grain for the 300 black out is one of the best I have found when using it with my suppressor.

I've been a hard core S&B fan since the early 90s; it's hard to beat. I reload most of what I shoot, but if I'm shooting something I don't reload for S&B is always my go-to ammo. Fantastic 12 gauge buckshot and slugs as well.

I've taken more than one tour of the Sierra bullet manufacturer plant and can tell you, even with "state of the art" machinery, there's PLENTY they could have shown in this video. Light on the details is an understatement. I was really excited when I clicked on this video, but by the time they made it into the packing facility I was super disappointed and just quit watching it.
@@FirearmTutorials it's time consuming but if you search of youtube "ammo manufacturing", "ammo crank press", etc and watch all those videos with just 600 views, etc you'll get a good idea. The individual steps can also be seen on Google Patents. If you look for ammo manufacture you'll see patents for how casings are made. Hell, there's the Olin patent for Black Talons on Google Patents.
S and B is all I use. I have shot well over 10,000 rounds of this stuff and never had a malfunction. It simply works. I enjoyed Larrys tour, and would like to visit Prague one day. Keep up the good work my friends, as I will continue to stack your products deep.

When the EU was discussing the directive 477 (Eu gun ban) many gun rights group tried to contact Fiocchi, Beretta, Benelli, Pedersoli, Chiappa and all of them either sided with the directive or they didn't even bother replying to emails. After the gun ban passed people started to make groups like "I won't buy Italian guns and ammo ever again" so they got scared and released statements trying to calm people. It doesn't matter what Fiocchi USA or other Italian companies says, they will gladly do the opposite to gain market share. (Both in the US and especially here in the EU a complete "assault weapon" ban would make their market share grow exponentially.

I like the factory has a dedicated ground for wildlife to roam. Definitey would be a nice place to relax after listening to machines all day long, little bit of peace and quiet to finish your day
Great video I've been buying S&B 9mm and 5.56 whenever possible partly do to its being higher than average velocity and ft pounds of energy. Also out of all the 1,000+ rounds I've fired of their 9mm and 5.56 never once did i have a feeding, ejecting or misfire problem ! Awesome company !
I have been shooting their 9mm 124gr FMJ Bulk Ammo (2000rd box with 8 x 250rd packages) for years. Very reliable, consistent and relatively clean shooting ammo for a decent price.
I visited S&B in 1993, just after the Czech Republic was established. The factory was a 1930s -1945 status, with some 1950s Soviet equipment. All the machinery was in well maintained condition ( Loewe, ZB, DWM) and producing in single stages...one machine/one process. Since being acquired by CBC Magtech, the Investment of fresh funds has led to virtually anew, modern, state of the art plant.... The older machinery allowed morev versatility in different calibers...tool changing was easier, but a downside of more manual labour and slower production. Would like to visit again, 30 yearson!!! I have fired thousands S&B 9mm FMJ. Never had a failure to fire, never had a squib, nevere found a deformed or otherwise messed up round that I would discard. Highly recommended.
I love these factory tour videos! Nice to learn a little about the manufacturers of the products that we all use. I've never had any problems with their ammo and have shot quite a bit of it. Also don't mind supporting a company from the Czech republic. Good people!
Never had a problem with this ammo until I bought a Kimber micro 9. Had a batch I purchased (multiple boxes) that had many light primer strikes. These weren't the first shots fired thought the gun, and I was certain I had put about 200 round of S&B through it without problems before. So I chalked it up to maybe those boxes came from the same "batch" from the factory. I had one or two failures every mag. Called Kimber, they told me S&B isn't up to SAAMI specs and that I should use better ammo.... works fine with my Ruger pc9, and p320. But the Kimber micro is a no go.
I have a 6.5 x 55 Swede that I had with. I have been using this ammo exclusively in that rifle. I have nothing but good stuff to say about their ammo. Quality accuracy and deadliness is equivalent to Hornady.
I use to slit the brass coils to width , before they were shipped to various ammo companys.Also use to punch out the cups during the VN era.70 -30 cartridge brass, made 100s of tons of it.
My little .32 ankle back-up gun is currently carrying their ammo. They use the older European load data for the .32ACP, so it is a bit hotter then most of the stuff made in the states. I used their .303, .308, and 5.56 ammo from time to time too when I want a factory control group.
I enjoy shooting S&B! I’d like to see them load a 16 pellet #1 Buckshot in 12 gauge. Their 12 pellet #1 Buckshot is great but I miss those 4 extra .30cals doing damage. Thanks Larry.
I'm not at the level of some shooters that go through thousands of rounds a year, or even a month, but this is --- hands-down --- some of the best on the market. Even their budget rounds are magnificently consistent.
I recently discovered this brand when I went to buy 8x57 and now I’m probably gonna buy my other cartridges from them their brass is very nice. I also notice that their soft nose bullets don’t deform easily when cycled through my k98, some brands are bad about that.

The best part about S&B is the 9mm boxes. Most compact 50 round boxes you can get, extremely convenient, much smaller than what you normally get. And I've yet to have a malfunction of any kind in roughly 4k rounds of 9mm.

These guys make great quality ammo and are usually cheaper than a good chunk of the rest, gotta love em.

I bought a few boxes of 308 S&B at the range about a year ago and was really impressed.
I always thought this is a french or belgian business. Interestingly it was founded by a german of french origins in the czech republic.
And owned by CBC(Brazil) since 2009.

Their 124 grain 9mm is really solid. I use it for competition and it is some of the most consistent ammunition I have ever shot.

Yea I was expecting a look at their reload press and how they measure/drop powder. How many total steps to create a specific round, etc.

When I’m too lazy to hand load S&B 10mm has become a staple for me . Great stuff. Nice to see a factory coexisting with natural spaces.

S&B is some of the best ammo I’ve ever seen or shot I use there .45 about 90% of the time and it is some of the cleanest ammo ever. I love it

My Ruger Predator consistently prints sub MOA and they’re cases seem to hold up well with reloads at least for 6.5

Iv used there 45 in my 1911 before. Great ammo. Not as wide spread as others but I can always find them at D&B.

S&B primers are actually really good, I was surprised at the testing results I got. Confirmed from several other reloading sources too. Good Stuff.
They are very toxic. They contain much more lead than any other primers I know. Look it up. I stopped shooting S&B
