@Tony01013.....I have a newfound respect for Mr. Vickers.
He did what a man is supposed to do. Not only did he acknowledge there was a problem, he said he'd address it, then followed through. That's what this country needs.

I cannot speak for anyone other than myself but I've fired a fair number of calibers, both rifle and pistols, using S&B ammo and can state without hesitation that I would NEVER feel undergunned or lacking when using S&B ammo or products. It's just that good.
Now this isn't to say that I prefer them over any other ammo manufacturer but bullet to bullet in any select caliber, S&B makes a large group of FINE products!
LAV, thank you for giving us an inside look at their facilities.

Mr. Vickers, I wanted to mention an off topic. As you have served in a calling that takes physical abilities very soon, and weight being the result. So you are an endless encouragement, as even being broken and injured, you have figured out how to exercise and become peak shape looking. I saw your workout video, and the why I am fat clip. Yet nothing stands too high for you to achieve. Keep it up, and congratulations for the payoff of relentless persistence.

I shoot tons of S&B here in Wisconsin and love the ammo very consistent with almost no failures. 9mm, 45 ACP and there 300 Blackout are excellent. S&B sub sonic 209 grain for the 300 black out is one of the best I have found when using it with my suppressor.

When the EU was discussing the directive 477 (Eu gun ban) many gun rights group tried to contact Fiocchi, Beretta, Benelli, Pedersoli, Chiappa and all of them either sided with the directive or they didn't even bother replying to emails. After the gun ban passed people started to make groups like "I won't buy Italian guns and ammo ever again" so they got scared and released statements trying to calm people. It doesn't matter what Fiocchi USA or other Italian companies says, they will gladly do the opposite to gain market share. I visited S&B in 1993, just after the Czech Republic was established.
The factory was a 1930s -1945 status, with some 1950s Soviet equipment.
All the machinery was in well maintained condition ( Loewe, ZB, DWM) and producing in single stages...one machine/one process.
Since being acquired by CBC Magtech, the Investment of fresh funds has led to virtually anew, modern, state of the art plant....
The older machinery allowed morev versatility in different calibers...tool changing was easier, but a downside of more manual labour and slower production.
Would like to visit again, 30 yearson!!!

Never had a problem with this ammo until I bought a Kimber micro 9. Had a batch I purchased (multiple boxes) that had many light primer strikes. These weren't the first shots fired thought the gun, and I was certain I had put about 200 round of S&B through it without problems before. So I chalked it up to maybe those boxes came from the same "batch" from the factory. I had one or two failures every mag. Called Kimber, they told me S&B isn't up to SAAMI specs and that I should use better ammo.... works fine with my Ruger pc9, and p320. But the Kimber micro is a no go.

I'm not at the level of some shooters that go through thousands of rounds a year, or even a month, but this is --- hands-down --- some of the best on the market. Even their budget rounds are magnificently consistent.

I recently discovered this brand when I went to buy 8x57 and now I’m probably gonna buy my other cartridges from them their brass is very nice. I also notice that their soft nose bullets don’t deform easily when cycled through my k98, some brands are bad about that.

Came here from a daily ammo deal page at Ammoland! Enjoyed this video and I plan on buying Sellier & Bellot in bulk from now on... S&B has some really clean-firing ammo!!

Iv used there 45 in my 1911 before. Great ammo. Not as wide spread as others but I can always find them at D&B.

S&B primers are actually really good, I was surprised at the testing results I got. Confirmed from several other reloading sources too. Good Stuff.

They are very toxic. They contain much more lead than any other primers I know. Look it up. I stopped shooting S&B

Thanks for the video. I'll that ammunition. It's the brand that I used the most. 9mm, 38special, 357 Magnum and 22LR

The best part about S&B is the 9mm boxes. Most compact 50 round boxes you can get, extremely convenient, much smaller than what you normally get. And I've yet to have a malfunction of any kind in roughly 4k rounds of 9mm.

Larry that was GREAT, younger I would shoot 1,000 rounds a weekend with my friends from our S.R.T./SWAT. I always shot S&B and never had a problem in any rifle or pistol I used in any weather condition .
Thank you for a excellent review of this plant.
