I just want to say thank you for your content, the editing, shots and commentary are completely perfect . You're both such great people and I love watching your adventure together, I've literally watched every single video while I'm editing and working lol I live in Devon UK right on the border of Cornwall, so it was really refreshing to see my local areas through your eyes. Can't wait to see more, come back to the UK soon!
I have no problem with your videos turning into a mini food tour, I'm with Eric I like cooked oysters (the fresh ones look slimy to me). I'm liking your Instagram photos, you're doing better than ok with them :D
Hiroshima is famous for the oysters. Big, fat and creamy...YUMMMMMM! I'd spend a month in Japan, just eating until I couldn't walk. Great series, kids....can't wait to see the bar crawl!
MsKestrela I agree wholeheartedly. My husband and I traveled to 7 different cities when we were there this past fall and the Oysters were to die for there. I loved the oysters we had walking to Itsukushima and through the shops, the oysters we had for lunch when we were exploring, and at dinner at the fancy Ryokan we stayed at with a delicious selection of oysters prepared in ways I didn’t even knew existed. Japan is the best!
@@Christina-Bobina Thanks for your reply! It sounds like you had a tremendous trip through Japan. If I weren't so happy to hear about it, I'd be SO jealous!
Those oysters were seriously big, wow! I don't dig them raw unless I add a lot of flavour to them, but those fried ones and even the steamed ones looked really good :)
My husband and i went to Miyajima this past November. We got their quite early in the morning when the tide was out and you could walk up to the Tori gate.
Very nice balance. Oysters looked great! Looking for native food when you travel is really cool. I have always avoided eel, but I would try it now. Please keep it up. You might wanna think a little bit about extending your visits a little bit. You frequently point out things that you want to try next time.
The deer at Miyajima Island are so cute! We did the hike when we were there. It's tough, but great views. We were surprised at how early the food places close there as well.
I loved this Japan stop guys. When I visited Hiroshima years ago when Disney had me in Japan promoting our Mulan movie it was one of my favorite cities, and I remember Hiroshima having these delicious fried noodle pancakes unique to the area. The oysters look crazy yummy :) Great foodie ending with eel and fried oysters too. Thanks for sharing, safe travels, James and Kim
I was only in Hiroshima for a short period of time but it was absolutely beautiful, especially miyajima! I was lucky enough to go during low tide and was able to walk up to the tori gate and get pictures! :)
The floating torii gate is truly beautiful, too bad we didn't have enough time to visit Hiroshima but only Hakone. Miyajima deer is like Nara deer - chase you down for food haha :)
I love Hiroshima. You could have taken the ferry to Miyajima from right in front of the Peace Park :) it’s faster (and cheaper) than taking the train then the large ferry.
I loved this one! As usual. I found the deer to be sooo cute 🙊🥰 I love how they just wandered around and did their own thing haha, also I liked Alisons pun ;) you guys definitely have guts in trying eel and oysters! I’m not about either of those, I’m too chicken, so hats off to you! 😂😆 also the gate you went to! Your photo of it with you both at sunset on Instagram is beautiful 🥰⛩! I loved the pace of this trip. Especially after the exciting experience of New Zealand where you just road tripped. Looking forward to your alcohol consumption vlog!
Love the channel guys!! Came across your channel by accident, watched a few videos and subscribed straight away. Lots of diffrent content. Keep it up guys, all the way from the UK 🇬🇧!!
Not long ago I read the stories of a Japanese man who was working in Hiroshima the day the bomb fell and then went to his home city of Nagasaki and a British prisoner of war who was also moved from Hiroshima to Nagasaki. Surviving one A-bomb is incredible, surviving 2 is a miracle.
Lordy, less than 5 minutes in paused, order fried oysters, sushi and gyoza from a local Japanese restaurant...... No will power. Loved your video, only a minute left to finish. Mmmm, oysters....
I’m not one for oysters ( only tried it once raw) and I don’t think seeing it cooked helped haha. Edit:Had to come back and say that I would try those panko covered ones. Such a pretty little island
Those deer on Miyajima are little terrorists lol they will eat anything you have. My trick was to just not pay attention to them and act like they weren't even there and they left me alone lol. There's also a place across from the ferry entrance on the island where they teach you to make Momiji Manju. They give you a full lesson you make 3 and package them yourself using a machine.

Hiroshima is so beautiful. I had lived there when I was in 4th year of university. A lot of amazing tourist spots as you recommended
Loved this place when I visited!
Great place ⛩Thanks again for the drone shots mate!

Beautiful video guys.. you never disappoint! Thank you for sharing such a magical place with us!⛩
I have fond memories of visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima (in 1986) - the deer were quite persistent!
I went on an Endless Adventure to try the Way Away before Flying The Nest. ;)
What you said....and Kinging it.
I’m always so impressed with your Instagram photos. They always so striking.
i can't wait to go to japan someday!!

You guys are the reason that I want to go to Japan! Love Y'all ❤
Great vlog!! ✨👍✨ ... Your videos are getting very natural and professional each time. Very enjoyable!
You passed up going inside and climbing on top of the Hiroshima Castle to view the Tori Gate at the right tide.
I love your videos so much!
Loving the new graphics at the start guys....and the video too of course!
The deer at Miyajima Island are so cute!
We did the hike when we were there. It's tough, but great views. We were surprised at how early the food places close there as well.
Sending love and support to everyone in New Zealand from England that may be fellow Eric and Ali followers

So neat and exotic. Oysters are something I'm very squeamish about, I've also never seen them that large! The deer were adorable!😊
Beautiful location and food all looks amazing, thanks guys. Surprised how close the deer came.
We love your videos, so much food, so little time ❗️😉⛩
Loni:👩🏼🦰&Al:👱🏻♂️
Great video that brought back fond memories of visiting beautiful Miyajima, thank you.
I was only in Hiroshima for a short period of time but it was absolutely beautiful, especially miyajima! I was lucky enough to go during low tide and was able to walk up to the tori gate and get pictures! :)

love following your adventure!!
I love my oysters raw, and okay with a little lemon squeezed.
The floating torii gate is truly beautiful, too bad we didn't have enough time to visit Hiroshima but only Hakone. Miyajima deer is like Nara deer - chase you down for food haha :)

Have you been to the deer park at Nara, near Osaka? The deer there bow to you so that you feed them.
Miss u guys
Very nice video!! 🔥🔥🔥
Definitely try AGE MOMIJI. It’s a fried Maple leaf deserts. I really recommend it!!!
Nice vlog 🔥👍
Absolutely love your new intro...
Never had cooked oysters before. Raw they're fine as a treat... or on a date 😇. Wouldn't mind trying them cooked though.

This places looks beautiful 🤘🏻😊
Japan is the best!
How do you mean "work in progress" and "we're trying", your Instagram photos are always so beautiful!
That was nice thanks

woooo......i bought an assortment of manju from the same shop. They are delicious! :)
"Oh dear!" ha ha :)
Apparently the Floating Torii Gate will be under construction from June 2019 (for about a year) - so you guys went at a great time!
I've made several special trips out to Miyajima just to savor the oysters and wash it down with the local beer.
Sounds like a great trip! 😁
The views look so much like the Pacific NW!
If you got there early in the morning before the tide went out, you could of got on a boat through the Torii gate. I did that and it was awesome!
Hi friend. love watching you...
I've watched many videos and didn't realize until now that your eyebrows were so light! Lol
amazing
BEHIND YOU! THE DEER ARE BEHIND YOU!
Where did you try that cookie? Was is at Miyajima Brewery or some place else? I love your videos! Lots of love from Portugal!
Hmmm, you went all the way to Miyajima and didn't stroll through the Itsukushima Shrine? or did it just get cut out due to time constraints?
Lordy, less than 5 minutes in paused, order fried oysters, sushi and gyoza from a local Japanese restaurant...... No will power. Loved your video, only a minute left to finish. Mmmm, oysters....
Oh man
Hi my boyfriend and I are visiting Japan in November and I was wondering if you had any recommendations on private onsen’s in Kyoto?
If it’s one thing I just can’t eat, it’s oysters 🙈 just don’t like them. The views are gorgeous there omg so pretty !
How long people usually spend time in that island..?
That wasnt trying Alisons oyster that was finishing it.. haha
Apparently the gate will be closed for renovation later in the year when I go 😞
Oh dear, I just google it and it will be closed when I go (July) :-(
Hi! May I know where to get the tickets and Jr pass to go tori gate?
Wish we could have seen it when the tide was lower....... :(
Hi! Love your videos! Would it be presumptuous of me to ask what editing software you use? Thanks!
Is it stock footage you're using or actual drone footage you shot?
How do you guys travel with the Drone? I always see the footage but never see either of you carrying a back pack or anything?
I’m not one for oysters ( only tried it once raw) and I don’t think seeing it cooked helped haha.
Edit:Had to come back and say that I would try those panko covered ones. Such a pretty little island
All those oysters hows the love life 🙈
Is that what the inside of an oyster is supposed to look?
Yummy)
Same hear Alcohol and drinking are the best
Any idea why they cut off the deer's horns?
Freedom Strider they don’t cut them off. The deer drop their antlers in the Fall (Autumn) and they start growing again in Spring.

😍😍😍😍😍😍
Its called hero-shima

You didn't go up the mountain? You've missed out
🍻🍺👊
That maple leaf looks a bit too much like weed.
Whatsup with the random dislikes on a newly uploaded video? I think they did it by accident!!!
