In this video I have checked the cutting length calculated on BBS and the cutting length taken on site and also the bend deduction which have to be considered while practically working with the reinforcement bars.

in IS code the value of A was from inside the stirrups which you took from outside.

If you take A and B distance from centre of stirrup then no need of bend deduction
A= 650-40-40-8 = 562mm
B = 230-40-40-8 = 142mm
Cutting length = 1568 mm

You are right, you should consider 2(a+b) + 24 d if the hooks are bent at 135° and take 20d at the place of 24 d if the hooks are bent at 90°. No need to further consider the bend deduction.

Instead of -2d, make the formula simple. = 2[(L-2C)+(B-2C)]+16D
Extra to hona hi tha bar because - 5 x 2d hota and u did only -2d
Sir is video me sirf ye batana tha ke koi bhi angle pe bend karo 2d hi deduction karna hai. Hamesha confusion hota hai ke alag degree ke bends ke liye alag deduction karna hota hai.
