Oh, man that was so crazy! The thing to understand about Wallmart is that you don't expect to make money there, but you do hope to pay for your stock. So Wallmart will set the amount of units and the price they buy them at, say 50,000 DVDs at $4.50 a unit. After a week, they may begin to lower the price, and units that don't sell they will begin to send back to you and you will have to pay them back. The game most small films play is to make the upfront investment, and hope that Wallmart can sell enough units that the stock they sent back is payed for by the stock they did sell - and you then have something like 20,00 DVD that now cost nothing to sell elsewhere. Crazy.
