    How would I be able to hook up a trim gauge to this . I have the same unit

    MrRaven57 , I watched you videos on the tilt trim take apart 1and back together very good and very helpful ! I have that very same tilt trim on my 76 Lancer. my question is which way do the bearing cages face? Video 1 shows that the bearings cages (the side with the crimps holding the bearings in) facing down towards the piston ( opposite of the electrical box). Video 2 does not really show the direction of the bearing on the bottom, and the bearing that goes on top of the clutch you cant tell which direction it faces. I know your video is 3 years old I hope you can remember thanks John B

      I don't think it matters which side is up or down.

    How do you get the cotter locking pin off the knob flat end that you screw inn at bottom

    Hi , I have stripped mine down and found the worm drive that turns the main big cog is stripped, cant figure out hove to remove and replace , any suggestions or vids please ?

      I never took it out . I would guess it e
      just pulls out once the large gear is out.
