One of the nicest things to have is a cook or a maid/cook combo that can shop and prepare healthy meals and snacks that she puts in the fridge. You can warm them up whenever you need them. She can cook a hot meal once or twice per week when you tell her you are available. Maybe someone with a nutritionist background. Eating out is enjoyable and social, but it's easy to get tired of restaurant meals or get in a habit of eating poorly if you eat out all the time.
Naw, you don't need a maid here man, unless your in a wheelchair. Heck, there are like hundreds of restaurants in and around my area just a phone call away and GRAB can deliver it to my doorstep in heartbeat. Why would I need someone to cook for me when I have a hundred chefs that can do the same job for pennies on a dollar? The Philippines is a service oriented economy, all you need is a phone and service you need is rendered quickly.
@@jetd9716 -agree, but I don’t like a ton of Filipino food, so when eating out I’m guilty of ordering too much pizza, burgers and fries. So “IF” I was splashing out $4-10K per month(like the topic of this video), I would consider a maid/cook. I wouldn’t get a second place at the beach, I’d just hit a resort now and then. I plan to use BGC as a base and travel the World and return to home county serval months per year, but call BGC home. Isn’t it good to have these options! Enjoy the PI. Cheers!
Belong to a country club along with daily lessons from the tennis pro. Rent monthly a high-end car with a driver on call 24 hrs. $8,000 a month would give you a lot of options.
You are in poverty line if you make $122K per year here in California Silicon Valley. With this income in the Philippines you are in the 1%, Big difference. You are treated differently.
Hi Jasper, great video, just a small highlight also - Philippines is a world class tourist country no matter "how much a person has to spend" with the friendliest kindest people in the world, I have lived overseas for decades with my career and am blessed to have Philippine very good friends. I visited Boracoy at 24 only world back-packing trip and a tick box for me coming from London was spending 6 weeks on a beach on my own somewhere, I headed off with 2 other friends on a one way ticket to India, then Nepal, Thailand, China before I picked Boracay for 6 weeks - my friends had departed on other routes by then - I made the right decision and enjoyed it immensely and have returned many, times since - Jasper enjoy living in a fantastic country and i tip my hat to you for sharing my opinion on Boracay - take care Patrick
The best house are maybe 2-3k and it really dosen't get much better then that. There is literally no inventory past those #'s. So yea 10k your gonna have trouble even spending it all....
What kind of question is that? Can they survive on $5k per month in the Philippines? Do these guys ever check the exchange rate of pesos vs. the US dollar? LOL. If they do, they will be shock and some might make the leap to come here but most probably won't due to the fear of the unknown. Most Americans won't even get past the Hawaiian islands to see the world, what more the Philippines. LOL
The top 1% earners in the Philippines is only $56,000 a year. To be the top 1% richest in the entire country it takes just $56,000 a year. Thailand is a little higher. Their top 1% earners are at $11,000 per month. So a little more than double Philippines top 1%
🤙 some folks like numbers. It still doesn’t really compute until the person actually travels there and experiences it first hand. Going on a proper date with a 8/10+ woman and spending a total of $20-$30 for the night. Great condo for under $500 a month. The other folks need to Reign in where fantasy and reality meet. Yes, dating is easier over there. But you don’t just turn into Brad Pitt overnight if you’re 50+ and out of shape. The story’s every night can be heard in the bar of “The Girl That…”
I am sure you are using data from government sources, but the reality is different, there are way more people making more than that, especially among business owners and government employees if you get my point.... not all the money in is tracked and lots of people get cash payments.
Make sure you have police clearance and an nbi clearance for them and also photo copy of id would also recommend to install plenty of CCTV them maids can be kleptomaniacs.
Dude if there is ANYONE who makes it plain as day, it's Jasper. You haters are simply clowns, get a F'n LIFE dude... geezus what is wrong with people like you? P.S. If every time you watch one of his videos you think it's click bait why do you keep returning? Answer: Because you're full of it. #GTFOH
