Let that lady you're talking to transition into the role if she proves herself, which takes time. And please don't take out life insurance with her as beneficiary.

My choice was to find someone that could take care of me as i get older. I believe I found her but the truth will be told starting in August. @paulnoe9452 feel free to do what you want, but I'd suggest having a fulltime or parttime (paid) caregiver lined up and arranged. It's not expensive. Let that lady you're talking to transition into the role if she proves herself, which takes time. And please don't take out life insurance with her as beneficiary.

Kind of sort of yea. The essence of what you are saying is correct, the attitude is a bit off. I think thats because you are trying to appeal to the bro's. Basically the take away here is: character matters. There are lots of girls in the Philippines and not all of them are fantastic and not all of them are bad. But you should be able to tell someone who really loves you vs someone who you are infatuated with. If you can do THAT, then the hard and fast rules about what to do or not do do, they dont matter.

I first got to the Philippines in 2013 and I've had a couple rotten girlfriends a couple one night stands and now I'm married to a wonderful Filipina and we have 2 kids together. The only thing you need to know is, character matters, and that everything bad you hear about filipinas can be true and also everything good you hear about filipinas can be true as well. The trick is finding a good one. Now thats up to you and your ability to read someone. But the whole do this, dont do this bit is completely irrelevant. You may very well find that your defensive strategies that you take on because you are afraid someone might scam you in effect drive someone away becuase she feels you dont trust her. So never judge someone based on someone elses experiences, and never judge someone based on your own emotional baggage either. Everyone is different.
