I first lived in the Philippines when I was active duty US Air Force. I was 17 years old back in 1980. Now fast forward 43 years and I am still here. I have lived in the Philippines more than half of my adult life. My Filipina wife and I now divide our time between homes in the Oregon, Metro Manila and Eastern Samar. Snowbirds have more fun. Great video with some good information.

I'm planning it for 2025, since they're rolling out the digital nomad visa in March, and as I'm from Europe right now I only have access to the 30 day visa. My only problem is I'll be working at a different time zone, which in the Philippines would mean from 5pm to 12 pm 5 days a week, which I think would be bad for dating. What's your opinion on that?
