- Aston Villa Football Club is proud to announce plans for a bold regeneration project at Villa Park 🟣
Expected to go live Christmas 2025, this includes the launch of The Warehouse, which will be free to ticketed supporters on matchdays and will serve as a multi-use venue set to become a premier destination for world-class performances, as well as the largest beer hall in the Premier League.
Completing the vision is an expanded plaza in the North Grounds, designed to amplify the matchday atmosphere.

I remember listening to Doug Ellis over 20 years ago saying he has the plans for the north stand on his desk ready to go. Only recently I’ve heard a similar thing and got everyone hyped only to be told the plans have been shelved.
Please crack on with increasing capacity within the ground, too, prioritising much needed extra seating for ordinary fans on limited budgets, not just affluent ones and corporate hospitality. What’s happening with replacing the North Stand itself? UTV
More seats don't mean cheaper tickets mate you will be paying more then most cuz it's a new stand
@ possibly, but you can live in hope!
It's almost like they think none of us can remember the years and years of taking about a new North Stand, the planning permission being granted and the beautiful renders.
We aren’t goldfish.
You can't just magic one up overnight for God sake🤦♂️
It was 1 year lol
@ashleyward5933 we had plannig permission in 2002, 2010 and in 2021 announced our intention to return with a new
@VillanFGer86 well that nothink had todo with the ppl in charge now tho lol
No news again on the North stand and a increase in capacity , strange
didn't you watch the video. 3k extra capacity ' very restricted view'
They said last year that they can't do it until the train station is upgraded.
@andyba01 no when is the redevelopment of the north stand , not just squeezing extra seats in the corners
I remember loads of things Villa said they'd do and didn't - some times they just can't get permission.
The hotel that was going to be in the corner between the Trinity and North Stand was one.
I remember thinking Neale Cooper was going to be the best central midfielder EVER yet he got injured and barely played. No one's fault.
Luc Nilis was gonna be a top striker - he got a terrible injury too.

@VanderlyndenJengold I remember the north stand being built and knocking down the old trinity Road stand, and worst of all building a stand over the top of the Witton lane stand and calling it the doug Ellis stand , the base of the Ellis is still the old Witton Lane stand
Nice watered down north stand development, when are we going to get the new bigger villa park that we need?
Where is the New North stand?
At the north end of the ground 😂 ( behind the goal )
@@tobyjackson9906 what are you on about? *we know.* he/she was asking because the new north stand is not in the video
@aviationtrainsfc1 it is??
@@gazzam3172 huh
Dion is bringing in the Homes Under the Hammer squad for the redevelopment.
@@dazred1 I thought the programme was called Bargain Cash in Your Home Attic in the Country?😂
What about capacity increase
Heck out!
Shame the locals can't keep the streets clean of fridges ,mattresses, sofas etc...
you know Birmingham Council are bankrupt and don't collect those things...
I wouldn't expect my local council to do this . I would sort it myself because I've got pride in where I live
@@brendanservice6194 where are people supposed to take fridges and mattresses you know astons a poor area not everybody got a silver spoon in there mouth like you.... like i said in reality normally you leave them out and the council collect them but theres no council
since your bredan service with pride you move them if it bothers you do much
Hardly locals 😂
I think capacity increase is important and I hope the plan for that doesn't fall by the way side.
There's many supporters yet to experience a game at Villa Park.
It needs to be done to boost match day revenue.
Build a new North Stand - this other stuff is just a distraction
Oh and sack Heck
Hear hear
Yeah heck needs to go
What about the New North Stand ??? & Villa Live ??? What the Heck !!!
Villa live is a pipe dream, the club need consistent CL before investing in that
It will be an improvement on what’s there, and will hopefully provide better service for food and drinks than the disgrace inside the ground. It’ll add some revenue too. But it’s a poor substitute to the new North Stand plans that we were sold on.
Would have been better if you increase the capacity of the North Stand
To me its taking away the carpark and now calling it a plaza….. these guys could make cardbourd box sound interesting! Stop cheap skating Chris and get on with the new North stand and its 1970s tec…..going to the toilets in there is certainly an experience!
Heck out! Can't believe he cancelled our new stand
I took my brother to play cricket there... was it called Stumps? Can't recall. Later, I took my nephew there to play indoor football. He trained with Villa for years, still mad about football, still a season ticket holder. I'm glad that building is being repuposed instead of being knocked down into yet another metal and glass building.
This is like a bad investor presentation from the 90s
A very odd episode of Homes under the hammer 🤔
Forget the razzamatazz ... Just increase the stadium
Window dressing. No new stand.
Villa Park is substandard on multiple levels and has needed work on it for years stop being cheap
This has put the nail in the coffin of any stadium expansion plans. Won't have time to get it done by Euro 28, which means no added capacity for genuine fans until 2030 at very earliest. But not to worry, Heck will have made the stadium 100% corporate by then so no need for real fans.
Truly devastating plans.
The minute Heck decided to bin the round badge the warning signs were there. This man's ego was on full display. He should have been driven from our club. The damage he is doing is catastrophic, screwing our best opportunity in 50 years.
@VillanFGer86 absolutely. I think it was his ego that binned the previous NS plans due to him having no involvement in them. He'll eventually come back with some cut price version, but not for years.
When R we gonna make the ground bigger
You can redevelope the North Stand to increase capacuty but you wont get the spectators to fill it unless you reduce the price of tickets.
Im just here cause this is near my house
Yeah the club aren't doing all of that and then Knocking it all down to build a new north stand. We'll be stuck with this horrible stand forever it seems
Heck is a fool
There is an empty plaza between the new bits an the old north stand, maybe its been left empty for a reason....
So basically the shop is done, the warehouse is staying just with a refit. The only actual development I can see here is turning the car park into block paving and adding a few trees? The whole Villa Live plan has clearly been scrapped as it's too expensive and this plan is a far cheaper alternative, I think Heck takes us all for idiots tbh
It's probably been scrapped due to planning permission... hence the repurposing.
Mate we HAD planning permission. The new build project was approved 2 years ago. We previously had planning permission in 2010 and before that in 2001.
Thanks to Heck, we are goong to remain stuck in the 1990s.
It’s definitely all because of money
@@VillanFGer86they wont invest in a new stand without consistent CL qualification.
What a downgrade on what was originally planned. And no new North Stand! With the Euro 28 tournament coming to Villa Park it means that no meaningful work can progress until that's done. Chris Heck is actively driving away the real fans in favour of corporate tourists; if I was to truly express how I felt about him and what he's doing to our club then this comment would be removed.
Other clubs have such ambitious stadium expansion plans in fruition, not only are we being left behind by our competition, we'll soon be overtaken by those behind. Truly devastated with these cheap plans and ideas.
It's not cheap plans. Our owners aren't poor. They'd build more to ensure more revenue but they can't. You need planning permission. You cannot compare other sites and expect the same. If we fully relocated and bought a massive brownfield site like the blues, we'd have an insane amount of fliexibility.
When the station is sorted, we'll see the big changes. Until then I'm happy with this upgrade.
@@SuperCrispyPancake And how do you think the bluenoses are going to squeeze 20 or 30 thousand fans through Adderly Park Station? They're not pondering about local transport infrastructure (mind you it's all pie in the sky over there at the moment anyway.)
@SuperCrispyPancake mate, we HAD planning permission. In December 2022 we announced that the planning was approved. In summer 2023 we amended the plans in December2023 we cancelledthe build! .
@@cyberdonblue4413They'd get that improved well ahead of any potential detailed plans or videos. Villa jumped the gun on this one
@@SuperCrispyPancake what upgrade? It's a huge, cheap downgrade on every plan we had.
Hurry the heck up with it
Unfollowing my own club on socials. Sick to death of being lied to.
Went a bit to corporate with this presentation folks , unpersonal side angle shots and a cheesey edit . Keeping the red brick is the best news here.
Me and my friends bumped into Dion once and he ribbed me for being a Villa fan 😂
I hate saying this but we will never be one of the truly great clubs. Whenever we have a crossroads we bottle it. Third time since 2000 we have bottled stadium development.
It was the right decision not to start work in the summer.
Nailed it with this comment, we always seem to be playing catch up and for that reason we will never be able to compete consistently on or off the pitch.
Will there be anywhere to lock my bicycle on matchday?
Chris Heck will sell you BikeLock+ on a monthly subscription, just £299 for the year!
Haha, yeah probably 🙄
Current bicycle parking is a shambles. It wouldn't take much to incorporate a decent lock-up area into the new plans, similar to what cyclists have at the Emirates Stadium. I would have thought the club would be keen to encourage more people to cycle to matches given the amount of road congestion and problems with matchday parking.
😂😂😂😂@@MrTim207
@joehewat8405 those genuine looking guys will look after it for £2. Honest!
Sounds legit 😂
No mention of whether this will be charged entry to the Warehouse on match days? Sus.
@mush893 They have already said it will be free entry to season ticket holders.
Warehouse venue looks amazing
I hope the warehouse will have dozens of pubs/bars and food venues with seating. Think Freight House in Manchester.
Nothing for us fans I prob wont be around then when built, ground capacity would have been better investment but looks like VP will stay like this for ever 🙄
Finally a replacement for the Holte Suite as somewhere to go before matches without paying an arm and a leg. Should have waited to finish this before taking away the Holte Suite though.
Seems weird timing, noses going all out and open their fan zone then we follow?
To the people moaning about the lack of developments to the North Stand, how can the capacity be improved if the public transport infrastructure isn't? The biggest issue we're facing at Villa Park is the surrounding infrastructure, it's something Purslow was working really hard on but we've seen no real breakthrough.

Look promising for the future
Blah blah blah!! Leave football alone!!
Its strange to me how the majority of Brummies ignore the Football Club that is named after the very city that they live in.
Namely - Birmingham City FC.
Birmingham City FC are shunned & treated as an embarrassment by most Brummies - they simply don't wish to talk about them let alone acknowledge their existance.
They are an embarrassment and Birmingham is one of the most shambolic cities in the UK
what a load of pr cp when ellis was in charge the only reason why they were in the prem is because he had fa influence ,they do not buy players who are hungry enough ,more of a training ground than a football club.
"By night a music venue"...What about local residents and their right to a peaceful environment? It's typical that the people presenting the video do not live in the area so the "development" will have no impact on them. They woman sounds very gratuitous. Just typical and sickening to watch.
The club wants to be in the CL consistently before investing in a new stand, or atleast start the ball rolling with the new venue bringing in extra revenue.
Never learn. Wages stagnating ordinary people priced out players on exuberant wages etc in the pub on villa match day we laugh at them paying£50/60/70 .during game everybody is watching the game live on streaming app.a no brainer
What a load of tosh…..
This is absolute class.
Looks amazing shame we play in the premier league rasistmo
This is amazing!
This is the practical and economical boost we will need to compare with the settled top clubs ❤ UTV
