How very sad for a baby to be ignored to spend countless hours for something you're not even getting paid for! So much for the perk of being able to be home with your children! the hairspray doubling as makeup setting spray is actually an old drag queen trick - it's not pulled from nowhere! Hairspray is skin safe, and a matte, gentle hold spray leaves a surprisingly nice finish and doesn't feel bad! i've been using it on myself for years with zero issue lol. now, would i, as a trained makeup artist, ever use it in this way on a client? No! It comes across as tacky and unprofessional, and it's certainly not something to bring up in a sales pitch for your garbage pyramid scheme.

I knew about this as a trick, but someone tried it on me once without warning me - I have very sensitive skin and eczema, so you can maybe imagine how that panned out. Ofcourse, if you know you are not sensitive to that sort of stuff, you do you! But these women shouldn’t just be recklessly recommending it to anyone like that. 🙈 It’s also definitely not always eye safe, so be careful with this!

I was in Monat for 6 longgg months and it’s the UA-cam anti-mlm community that really validated those doubts I was having. I’ve heard you say in a past video that you never think your videos will get anyone to leave their MLM, but I think there’s a LOT of women who are questioning whether to continue and it’s just a matter of them coming across an anti-MLM video bc that’s all it took for me. I’m so embarrassed I was part of this and posted about it. I was in that woman Ali’s downline and I remember when she ranked to SED. I posted in my stories congratulating her and how inspiring she was to have as a leader. Now here I am watching this cringing at her. Full circle moment.

A random women approached me in a craft store to compliment my hair, ask me about the project I was working on then go on to tell me how I was so creative & that she had a “business for creatives” she’d love to get me involved with. I was, obviously, very flattered & agreed to meet with her at a bakery to talk about her business. The entire meeting she kept telling me that I’d have to sign up with a company before I could start working with her business (but don’t worry, sign-up is super easy & hassle-free plus you get paid to do what you already love!). I noticed she kept saying “the company” but never the company name. When I finally confronted her about that, she told me it was Amway. Business for creatives my ass 🙄

Telling people to stop watching TV is so reminiscent for me of the religious cult I found myself in years ago. They didn't want us to watch TV either. They said it was a waste of time... "Why watch TV when you could be doing the Lord's work?" they would say. Constant guilting their members for not spending every waking moment dedicated to their "church". Telling Mom's that time with their kids doesn't matter before they're in elementary school is absolutely insane, and I would bet that most early education teachers could point out notable differences in children whose parents gave them attention, and those who didn't.
And I know that EVERY child will tell these women that the "lifestyle" their Mom is working toward doesn't even compare in importance to their Mom being present, and in the moment when they're together.
Just because they can't remember every moment doesn't mean it doesn't impact them.
Run. Run away. And don't look back.

She needs to make sure the customer is washing their hair properly with the product. So:
    Under a full moon.
Using water blessed by a left handed priest.
Three times anti clockwise motions, then twice clockwise.
Rinsing with water at NO MORE than 16 degrees Centigrade (None of your Fahrenheit nonsense, what is wrong with you guys).
Sit upside down with your hair pointed due North West West for 23 minutes and 12 seconds before you even think about picking up a hairdryer.

I struggled and asked honest questions and got the same types of responses from “experts”. Ultimately I gave up for multiple reasons and watching these anti-MLM videos helps me to see and debunk the stuff I heard and saw. There is so much in the coaching space that is taken directly from the MLM playbooks. Also it’s another situation where you had to get in years ago to be successful. It’s so saturated now. "Keeping your team motivated is not a thing, we can't motivate anybody (...) the motivation was gone by day 4." Big YIKES! Why does that sound that their toxic behavior shows up really early?
Anybody in a real job will tell you that being motivated is one of the keys to success? The less motivated someone feels, the less they feel like participating and the quicker will toxic behavior spread like a bad weed. Miss, the reality of the situation is that your paycheck depends on if these people feel motivated or not to help you get paid- they can straight up leave and tell their mutuals (if, hopefully, the MLM didn't destroy relationships) to not buy this product or anything with the brand name on it and gone is that market for you, doors closed forever.
Also, there's a difference between living with a working mother and a mother in an MLM- because a mother in an MLM that is not on the top, will be a struggling mother. And there's no worse feeling for a child than seeing their parent in a bad situation and feeling utterly helpless as their parent struggles to get the money for that month's rent.

Are they serious?? You're not motivated unless you're prepared for heart failure? You're not working hard enough if you haven't had at least one stroke? You're not serious enough unless you've destroyed one close friendship? Damm!! These Huns are downright dangerous! I'm a Mom who's raised three boys, and I have 4 amazing grandkids and let me tell you, you BOND that first year!! The gaslighting is so infuriating!
    You're stuck? Need help?
    "You're not stuck, it's a mindset and you're lazy"
Also, work hard, ignore yourself, your children, your family, grind, grind, grind!
    But, HAVE FUN!
That lady in the tie dye is always so flippant about any struggle people are having. She's got all the answers, and the answer is always "you're to blame".

Honestly, 9 to 5 sounds sooo much better than her alternative of giving up literally everything but work. And if anyone believes that it’s only going to be a year and then they can go back to normal, they are delusional because people loose ranks the minute they stop “hustling”, people fall of all the time. So now we know, the only way to be “successful” in Monat is to give up all your time freedom (ironic, isn’t it?).

It is so frustrating that she says the time with kids isn't as important when they're younger. That is a VERY important time in their lives that they need love and attention. Even if they can't speak, they are still developing and it can still affect them.

I work hard, but have hard cutoff points. I work 8-8. If a job comes in for me or a client messages me, I am ready between those hours. During those hours, I sometimes still watch TV, work out, have a good lunch, volunteer. After 8 pm I will OCCASIONALLY respond to people but only to tell them "Thanks. I'll look it over in the morning." Unlike Monat, projects end. I am not in a constant state of stress. There are weeks where I may have an above average workload, but at the end of the day, as long as I am allocating 3-4 hours a day to a project, I can get it done.

"Your 6 moth old won't remember you ignoring him" umm...exactly. They can't remember being little WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!!!! The momories of the little years are ours, and they are precious, and kids will ask about them. "How old was I when I...?" "What was my first word?" "what did I like to play?" Our memories of our babies are PRICELESS!

I love how contradicting MLM people are. It's like they can't even hear themselves when they say this crap.
"You can make your own schedule! You can work whenever you want and from wherever you what!"
---"If you're serious about this business, you'd be working your business 24/7. You'd be working it until 9pm and eating dinner while on a call."
"This business allows you to spend time with your kids. You can be with them all the time and be in their lives."
---"Your kid isn't gonna remember how much you worked until they're 5, so it's okay to neglect them for your business."
"Your business is what you make it. How much work you put in is what you get out. It all depends on you!"
---"You need a team. You can't do this alone. Your success depends on your team."
"If you neglect everything in your life and work hard now, you can have it easy later!"
---"You need to be nonstop all the time. Just because you did great last month, doesn't mean you can stop now. Every month is a new beginning. We should ALWAYS be hustling!"

I’m a manager in a company & have fewer than 15 people reporting to me. The thought of having to recruit, build and maintain a team of 30-60 people to just make a livable wage that’s at risk every single month makes me feel literally sick. I agree I don’t know how this doesn’t immediately seem suspicious. 😒

After watching several of your videos, you showed me a connection I never noticed before. When they recruit you, they tell you that you’re posting about your favorite products (Starbucks, restaurants, etc) and not getting paid for it, why not join them and stop doing it for free? Then, once you’re in, they expect you to spend hours making posts about the MLM product and you don’t get paid for that! 🤯

I’ve been watching you for awhile and was looking for some I hadn’t watched. Now-OCT 2024, I bet they would answer them asap to just keep them. It definitely comes off as we are so exclusive and the real boss. Totally different now

Thank you for clarifying ranking up MM to MMM quotas...whoa, $30,000 to $60,000 EVERY month?!? 😳😳😳😳😳😳 Stop focusing on the numbers?!? It's all about numbers! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 Wow, lots of focus on recruiting...interesting. Who knew?!?😜😉 ...and the "you need to order the Hair Oil to keep our rank" WTH?!?
All of those contradictions and not answering those questions... Ugh.
Yikes, yikes...yet again. Thanks Hannah as always for calling out these S💩💩💩💩Y MLM's. I am here for the eye rolls and head shaking. 😉😁

60k OV per month? Holy Cannoli that’s crazy! Of course they have to recruit a lot of people just to maintain this. 😱
