I love this! We are one! We Black Americans love our African brothers and sisters, and we know you love us, contrary to Western propaganda that is stirred up to divide us...ONE Africa! One people! Much respect to the King and the Asante!

Thanks again Dentta for sharing this valuable video. Part of the struggle is the lack of triangular information between Africa, the Caribbean and Black America. Met you at the Black Star International Film Festival in Accra after my film won Best Documentary. Looking forward to meeting with you again in Ghana.✊🏿

We need an Asante world class museum, hopefully the King will see that he has been slacking in making his kingdom great

I'm so happy and proud to see the Asantehene come to the states to see first hand the brutal history of our people here in the diaspora in the states. However this looked to me to be FedEx peacocking to gain a foothold in Ghana. There are many great minds in Ghana and on the continent who can start and build a company like FedEx on the continent that can work in conjunction with FedEx. I only wish the Asantehene's trip would have be coordinated by individuals who's main focus was on sharing the African American story both past and present, someone who would have taken him to memorials for Tamir Rice, and George Floid, and Mike Brown, someone who would have told him about Sandra Blan, and Amado Dealo.

      Exactly …
Thanks for your great comment…Our people on the continent must wake up and discard the illusions of being the oppressors’ friend. We must stand as one to fight this monster.
Such visits to the States by Afrikan nobility/leaders etc, have to be geared towards Black awareness, in order to forward the teaching of our historical struggles, as well as confronting the stark realities of our centuries old Afrikan journeys on the continent/diaspora, after our first encounter with the invaders, to their subsequent transformation into the oppressors continually tormenting us.

They have DHL overseas. Like FEdx here. So I don’t think so. That ship has saled. We need to stop being so leery about each other. Colonialism and slavery is over(physically speaking of course 😂)

Black American history needs to be taught in our schools alongside our own history because it's a great disservice to not know what happened to our African forefathers in America.

This is sadness and happiness mixed together as the King reflects on how our ancestors fought the good fight to stop the British from causing more harm than they had already done. Many people do not know that the Asante Empire's resistance is what saved many of our people from being shipped to the new world. We're so proud of these brave Asante Kings, Queens, men and women who sacrificed themselves for the rest of the people of Ghana and beyond. Hail the King and long live the Great Asante Kingdom, Piaaww..!

The irony that the Asantehene came to visit the civil rights museum and then the home of Elvis who didn’t even like black people. 🤦🏾‍♀️ He once said the only thing he likes in black are his shoes. Furthermore, he wasn’t a legend he was manufactured pop star, they wanted him to sound and dance “black.” The true creators of rock and roll were black! *sigh*😳 They called him the king of rock and roll because they wanted to whitewash it.
