- This video is just to show what can be made with limited tools and to inspire others to use what they have on hand instead of waiting for big equipment to come their way. This is my first proper knife made using only my hand tools so it was a great learning experience.
I plan to make many more videos in the future with far better ending and recording. So please like, subscribe and share to help my new channel grow.

Materials used:
3/16" / 4.76mm thick 1075 steel
Tasmanian Blackwood
3/16" stainless steel rod
2 Part Epoxy
Try to temper the blade with the fire, not oven.
The use of a plastic / rubber bellows threw us. Too modern.
Don’t you think there is a sort of romance with working with steel, especially with making knives? Then I suppose there is a romance in anything you do that you love doing.
You are a gluten for punishment. How much time did it take you to get over the muscle fatigue?
Wouldn't,t fancy taking him on at arm wrestling, got tired watching it.

Absolutely inspiring. I've been contemplating how to do my first complete build, and this really motivates me that I don't need the massive workshop of tools that everyone else uses.
