2021 5 years later and we're still walking .... Please everybody remember to love, respect and support for our veterans is for as long as its needed.... Not just for Christmas!
Ive seen this choir “live”in U.K. and brought to 😅 happy-tears ! Don’t care how many times these ladies pop-up on my screen ,I just will always put it back up for reminders for. Yes-/ I shall walk 500 miles😅💜😊🇬🇧😊🇺🇸😊💜😅
These are very special "Wives" who have the ability to see with their hearts minds and souls, and know not all the wounds carried back from war visual.. God bless each and every one of them and thier precious husbands fatheres and sons
Gareth Malone.... you SIR.. should have been knighted by now.. the attention you have brought to the Armed Forces and there families, the lives they live and the hardship they go through, through the ' Military Wives ' choir.. You have done more to highlight they're cause than anybody else over the last 20, 30, 40 years.. You SIR... In my eyes.. are a legend already !
Beautifully sung, well done Ladies, As an ex veteran I feel humbled by your inspirational singing, isn't it great to see this kind of support for our veterans
From an Australian Veteran (You're NEVER an ex-Veteran) for near on 50 years, I just gotta say "That's Gold!" Beautifully done. Bring a tear to a glass eye
Awesome job ladies! This is such a joyful rendition of a great song! I really hope you raise a lot of money for an incredibly worthy cause. Happy Christmas and God bless you.
I agree. But just remember that these people volunteered to join the services, (for whatever their reasons were), & we should all be thankful to live in a country where people are no longer 'press ganged' or forced into the services. I always remember those from my family, & other peoples families, on Remembrance Sunday & am grateful for the sacrifice that they made for their country & descendents. We should honour them in our every day lives by being 'proud Brits', decent British citizens supporting our country & each other during the ups & downs our land goes through as we make our way into the 21st century. To witness how some have tried to pull our country down these last 5 years, (indeed still try!), have bitched & complained about minor inconveniences during 2020 is heinous to behold!!; to see this daily not only leaves me raging but fills me with shame & embarrassment to have to call these people fellow Brits. Such people are not worthy to shine the shoes of the servicemen & women past & present. (It's also important to remember that peace comes at a cost & that even a peaceful country such as Switzerland still to this day has a decent working army & still recognises the need to defend its borders & people!).
As others have said - why? oh why? does Gareth Malone not have a Knightood - he has done so much for Military wives (and their partners) and for our great British Armed Forces.
I gonna be the one playing this song on Friday night at the vintage inn in wellington.....gonna try and raise 500 quid...! come down and put your hand in your pocket.......
a worthy cause but it is the duty of every state to take care of those who defended their country. It's a disgrace that we should forget all these men and women.
