Proceeds from the album In My Dreams will go to The Military Wives Choirs Foundation which will help all military communities to establish their own Choirs across the UK.
'Wherever You Are' is a moving love song written by Royal Wedding composer Paul Mealor for the choir to sing at The Royal British Legion's Festival of Remembrance. The music is set to a poem compiled from letters to and from the servicemen and their wives on a 6-month tour of duty in Afghanistan. It is the raw emotion of the song that has touched so many of the British public.

600 people have no heart at all!, how can anyone dislike this...these women are singing from the heart, they miss their loved ones at this time, and of course at anytime while their other halves are away, serving crown and country.
I respect our forces and will stand by them unlike certain ones, god bless our troops, and god bless these military wives!
I am an army girlfriend, my boyfriend has just returned from his 3rd tour of Afghanistan. Long have us left behind served silently. I think this is fantastic, showing the nation what we at home go through during those 6months. i've brought my numerous copies, chokes me up every time-it hits very close to home xxx

My sister is out in afghanistan at the moment in Lash Kagar. She's in the military police, she helps out the afghani women and children and is responsible for training the afghan national army. Im so proud of her, never could I do something like that.
This leaves me in tears everytime I hear it. Beautiful song. Think Gareth is amazing at what he has done for so many people over the years. I hope this gets to No.1 for xmas and you all continue to sing together. You should be so proud at what you have achieved x
As a former member of the US Air Force, I want to say KUDOS to the wives who stand by their men. And also KUDOS to these beautiful singers. I am 57 years old and y'all still brought a few tears to my eyes. GOD BLESS AMERICA and THE MILITARY WIVES CHOIR!
I can't watch this without a tear in my eye, well quite a few. My son is in the army in Australia, going to Afghanistan next year. This song is so beautiful and the show that went with it was inspiring too.

These women are proud of their husbands and the job they do and we should show our pride alongside them.
Some of these women may never see their loved ones again so the whole country should stand with them and honour them as much as we honour the personnel of our armed forces..
This is so beautiful. Watched the series last night and desperately hope it makes it to Christmas No.1. What a wonderful gift to give those serving our country who will be all over the world and those families left behind.
I think the dislikes are more aimed towards hatred of the war rather than the individuals who support their loved ones going out there to serve
Take a second to think about the fact that they go out there for their duty and they dont come back every evening and spend time with their children. I hate war, I resent soldiers going in my country and my brothers' and sisters' countries, but it is the proponents of war (prime minister, presidents) whom I shall complain to, not these wonderful heroes.
These women and women just like them, watch their partners go away and never know whether they'll see them alive again. We should all remember that.
The television series, the video, the song, the choirmaster, the choir and the sentiment are all simply amazing. The whole country should get behind them and ensure that this becomes the number 1 song of the year, never mind just Christmas!
My boyfriend is going to be posted out to Afgan soon and this song really touched me, These women are really inspirational and i really hope i can be as strong as them when he goes.
oh my god i heard this on my way to work i had to pull over as i cryed so much i could not drive.... just played it again and cryed all over again.... bless all of our men where ever they are as they are the sons of our country and we love each one of them and the dogs who give them comfort while away... god iam sobing now bless you all come home safe all of you xxxxx

This song is soooo lovely, beautiful lyrics. We are singing this for our Christmas concert I can't wait. We should all think of our brave servicemen when we hear this and pray for them. I thank God I'm not in the situation these women are in, they are so brave.

Being a working Civilian for the military and having had several family members and friends serving or served for queen/king and country I full support the wives, this song and their plights!

This is beautiful, I think it is inspirational that they beat Little Mix to the Christmas number 1. This song will mean so much to so many people all over the world, it is the best music figurehead for the United Kingdom I could think of.

J. D. Salinger wrote a short story about a soldier who has a brief chance meeting with a choir girl and her brother. Later, after experiencing the horrors of war, his sanity is saved by the memory of the meeting. This video reminds me so much of that story... 'For Esme, With Love and Squalor'.

Absolutely amazing!! I'm crying and speechless!! Anyone that has the lack of heart to dislike this should not be living in my country! You have no idea what the military men and women have to go through so we can live our lives as we do, they deserve much more respect than they get in the real world. You can hate the war all you want, but don't dare hate the troops. It's not their fault there is war!!

Stunning, heart wrenching and uplifting in one. As some others have said I may not agree with the reasons that we are currently involved in Afganistan or Iraq but I support our armed forces and their families 100%. Please download and knock the not so X factor off of the top spot for Christmas.
