I wanted to say that your videos were very helpful and clear. I have been driving for decades in America and frustrated that I was failing my exams here in Sweden. I reviewed your videos on the ride to Uppsala. I finally passed. Tack så mycket.
Hi! Thank you for your videos, it's very helpful :) I did my exam today in Gothenburg Hisingen and passed it. However, it was a new route for me, and I had not driven on this route before (although I had crossed a few of the roads during my practice lessons). I'm posting this here in case it will be helpful for someone else :) Trafikverket -> Tuvevägen -> Tuve Torg (Finlandsvägen) -> Gunnestorpsvägen -> Parking Tuve Torg -> Glöstorpsvägen -> Tuvevallen -> Västra Tuvevägen -> Stenebyvägen -> E6 Oslo (Angered) Hisingsleden -> Stora Holm -> Holmvägen -> Tuve kyrkväg -> Tuveliden -> Tuvevägen -> Trafikverket
Congratulations!….Happy to hear that the videos were helping…Thank you for being kind to share the detail of your exam route!…Enjoy the freedom of having DL and drive sate!
Of course, and thanks for the wishes! I just watched the latest video you have done which was my exact route. That's really good! 😊 Keep doing what you are doing, it's really helpful!
I practiced driving for only 2 months and got my driver’s license in february, thanks to your comprehensive videos of driving in Hisingen. I still watch your videos because there is much more to learn. Thank you for your hard work!
Hi Guys, i am here to say I passed my exam today :). It was my first try at Hisingen. First, i met with the inspector. She explained how exam will be. Then, she asked me to check the tires. I look at one of them and said they are not worn and deep enough etc, and forget to check other tires. She asked what about others? :') ( minor mistakes no problem) My route was exact same route ClearRoad drove one of the videos, which goes first to centrum way but don't worry about following the road, inspector always says where you need to go, if she/he doesn't , go straight. Sometimes they say follow E6 etc. Therefore, Don't stress about where you will go. And one sign was not visible by trees, she said there is sign there but it is not visible go right. I passed the railway crossing twice, but i didn't check actually there were any train or not, but she said it is not a mistake to fail but please check your around. Till you enter the trafikverket parking area don't relax too much, because I was about to turn parking spot to trafikverket, there was a car coming from right side, i had to allow him pass because of right hand rule. I passed bumpers once little bit fast, but they are minor they don't say anything if it is not a mistake you do all the time. Drive in the speed limit, plan your driving, look around. You will pass, it is not a something very difficult. I have driving experience in Turkey but not much in Sweden, and i didn't get any driving lesson, i just watch ClearRoad, and used the tips. Good luck!!!
Congratulations!..Great to hear that you made it on the first attempt and I am happy to hear that the videos in this channel were useful! Thank you for your gift, and enjoy your Swedish DL!
I've done the practical test today at Hisings and need to pass on the checker's feedback (that one I've got from your video): NO NEED INDICATOR TO LEFT when passing through the roundabout (getting the 2nd exit). If you are going leave on the 1st exit, ok turn light to right; else if going to get 2nd/straight through roundabout, just go W/O indicator, else if go through 3nd + exits, turn LEFT light and then go. ALWAYS TURN RIGHT INDICATOR TO LEAVE ROUNDABOUT. Tack för idag!
You are right, when using the second exit, you don’t need to indicate when entering to the roundabout. That is what I was doing in my videos and the on the roundabout video, I have mentioned this fact specifically. But did you pass your exam or you failed due to this fact?
Hello!! Firstly, thank you for your videos! I´ll perform my practical test at Högsbo in the coming weeks. What about the Safety Check before start driving? Is it necessary to check externally the tire condition, directions lights, etc ??
You do safety checks based on what the examiner asks you. If the examiner asks you to check the tires, then you have to move out and check the tires. Sometimes the examiner might not want you to do any security check. To give you an example during my exam, I passed the practical exam on the second attempt. On my first attempt the examiner asked me to check if the break is working and i did check that. On my second attempt, the day was rainy day and I started the wiper with out the examiner asking me to do it and I asked her if she want me to do any security check, then she said that I already started the wiper and I don’t need to do any more security check. Good luck with your exam!
These videos are so helpful as i plan to take the exam here in hisingen. However, my weakness in driving is parking unfortunately😂 Are you planning to make a video for parking anytime soon?
Hello, I passed the practical exam on the second attempt. On my first attempt, the examiner asked me to check if the breaks are working…What I did is I turned off the engine and pressed the break a few times and the break pedal should be hard after few presses…if the pedal is springy or sinks down to the floor, then there is some issue with the break… To test ‘break servo’, I pressed the break while the engine is off and while my feet is on the break, I started the engine and the break pedal sinks while the engine starts - this is an indication that the ‘break servo’ is working. If the break stays hard even after switching the engine on, then there can be an issue with the break servo. While doing all the above steps, I speak out what I observed to the examiner (like the break is not springy and doesn’t sink down so there is no issue on the break, and wile testing the break servo also I explain my observation). On my second attempt, it was a rainy day and I started the wiper without the examiner requesting me anything…then I asked her if she want me to do security control and she said you have already started the wiper, and you don’t need to do any more security check.
Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you failed, but don't lose hope, and you will make it on your next attempt. Unfortunately, I don't know routes in kungsbacka.
I am English and will need to take the Swedish driving exam. I have a UK Driving License and I am aware that England has one of the hardest driving tests in the world, but I am extremely nervous that I wont be able to pass the Swedish one😭🤣
Yes, I know that UK DL tests are tough. If you pass the UK test, you must be aware of the safety aspects of driving, and the Swedish DL exam is not any different. If we have to mention one thing different in the Swedish DL exam, it is the reverse around the corner maneuver. I think this is not tested in the UK. Anyways, good luck on your attempt!

Thank you.

Great to hear that the videos are helping…at the moment, I am preparing a short video on how to reverse park in a tight spaced garage…
Hej! thanks for the video! I'm curious about the säkerhetskontroll check. What did the examiner ask you?

I was asked to check the horn 😁 That was it!
Hello! Maybe you know some route in Kungsbacka where the actual test is taken? Thank you in advance.
I did my exam today in Hisingen but I failed.

I'm sorry to hear that you failed, but don't lose hope, and you will make it on your next attempt. Unfortunately, I don't know routes in kungsbacka.
why do you exit from the inner lane when going left? that is very dangerous
