Hello Bev! Good question. Its cold hardy like spinach so in that sense, yes. I’m just not sure if you could get away w spacing it so closely. If you do decide to try it, Johnnys seeds has good prices on bulk seeds.

Or if you are referring to the “hardware cloth” in the bottom of my of my dirt screening crate, that’s like a real small wire mesh
