Swan Impact Sprinkler - U61 design

The Swan sprinkler is very well designed and made. I do not everything about it, but it is quite different in the design. The whole thing is well made and put together, as you will see in the video. It has single lever stops as apposed to the dual designs on most impact sprinklers. The arc stops are hard to move. The functionality worked very well and that surprised me too. When you see it, you will understand.

Thanks for sharing this. I’d never seen a Swan impact. It has interesting design choices. It runs nicely.

I had mentioned the Swan a couple months ago, but I never put together my videos. It is a modified U61 design, of the mini format not the older larger design. I am becoming more and more aware that the size of the spoon has a lot to do with the movement of the sprinkler. It is noticeable in the U61 designs and modifications that I have seen in the various brands. Thank you for watching.

Nice Swan impact, it does run quite well, but has that minor flaw where it hangs up occasionally tripping into reverse.

It is my fault that it hangs up on the occasion. I would have to tighten the spring a little to keep it from hanging up.
