About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!
Yea, this was an incredible moment!
I will treasure our first actual meet up always. More than that, I am so impressed at watching ya'll at the AnimalCon. Mikey, you were the "star" of the conference and, more than that... everyone that came to see you came because you've touched their lives in a very meaningful way. This is quite a talent. I watched you during the meet-n-greets, every single person had your complete and undivided attention for the whole time they had with you. I got to talk with a few of those folks after meeting you and those few moments you spent with them will be a core memory for them, forever. I'm blessed to know you and RJ, super blessed to have been able to meet you both in person and, I'm looking forward to the next time our paths can cross. My wish is that everyone who supports you can have the opportunity to meet you.
I also wanted to say that you crushed your Ant Talk. In my past lives I've mentored and coached execs on public speaking and presentations... I'm really impressed. You even handled a potentially awkward "blooper moment" with your slides with grace and aplomb. Not everyone could do that.
I'm happy ya'll were able to survive the weekend. Your itinerary was jam packed but, you got to everyone, you radiated positive vibes and you truly showed the incredible person you are. Through all that, I noticed that RJ was right there to support you. We see this in the vlogs but, until you truly see it in person, it doesn't really do it justice. It's very clear to me that RJ is your strength and support, I'm amazed at how symbiotic you are to each other. You both have found true treasure in each other.
Time now for ya'll to relax with your family and the next part of your trip in LA. Stay safe and healthy! Thank you, again for all you've done and all ya'll do. I'll see 'ya next time.

The kids were so cool. I was awesome watching them meet all the creators. The kids were so into the animals as well.
I keep tearing up every time a fan says Mikey helped them go through the Pandemic, that's because I'm one of those people. You had helped a lot of people around the globe by your creations both in the AntsCanada channel and here in the Vlog Channel. I also teared up because I envy you for being with my favorite UA-camrs. Paul Cuffaro, Dark Den, Tarantula Kat, Serpa Designs, Brian, Reptiliatus, Jay, Bird Tricks and even saw Blake at the Panel with you on your Instagram Story. I hope someday they come to visit you here in the Philippines, we would love to meet them in person as well.
We were there when the mom said how these awesome creators helped her son during a dark time. It warmed my hearted that she shared the story. 18:18 She is a great mom.
Nice to see the diversity of your followers in the US! Seems you have a really broad following young to old and covering the diversity of the US! Surely you must be so proud!
Nice to see another fellow young fan from New York! Tetramorium immigrans is an invasive species here (they're invasive throughout the majority of the US) so it's nice that he's keeping them as pets as it's one less invasive colony out there. I agree, we definitely need more myrmecologists (because as small as ants are, they are just as important to the ecosystem), and I hope that it does turn out that he discovered a new species. His father raised a fine child.
You inspired me to fly to Orlando in a whim. We're DVC members and haven't visited our home resort since 2012. Got lucky to reserve a 3-bedroom villa at Saratoga Springs Resort and booked a JetBlue flight all in less than 24 hrs.

This vlog was fun. Mikey you were so charming through it all. And yes a third party filming was also enjoyable. I like what the Mom said about the videos encouraging children to get back outside and appreciate nature. I like the lego ant. Very creative. I love how the Mabuhay Squad knew about RJ’s kitchen.

Great job, Mikey, but I also have to salute RJ! I know he's the shy/private type, so maybe he was out of his comfort zone when he became the center of attention for fans.

Wow, you guys sure had a busy time. Your outfits were perfect! You both looked polished, professional, pulled together, yet casual enough for the occasion. Just all around classy.
