About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Felix did such a great job with the aviary fountains! I'm sure all the birds will love them very much once they're moved in. Great to see you stuck with the idea of getting endemic birds. While great to see birds from other countries, it's also important to promote native wildlife as they face sad challenges in the wild

The new birds are the Think Tank. Very quiet and for some reason contemplative, lol. I can see them in a library reading books with monacles, lol.
How about Filipino names for these three?

I'm obviously not a native speaker, but I do know some Filipino history. And since you mentioned them being regal, I suggest naming them after a Datu, Rajah, or Sultan!
The male should be named Lapu after Lapulapu, while the females should be named Urduja (the legendary warrior princess recorded by Ibn Battuta) and Ismelia (after Dayang Ismelia; royal consort of Rajah Matanda of Maynila)
Ismelia is such a pretty name!
Just thought of three more names...FILIPINO MYTHOLOGY!
- Bathala for the male (creator deity)
- Tabu (short for Anitun Tabu; goddess of rain and wind which the rain helps your farm crops grow)
- Ika (short for Ikapati; goddess of cultivated land to also reference your farm)
The water feature turned out better than I could have imagined, perfect now for the ever growing Mabuhay Flock!!!

Poop off is brilliant, you can spray it in cage even when birds are there. Just leave it for a few mins and poop comes off. Don’t dilute it .

I can’t get it in Spain ,but if I visit the Uk I bring a gallon home in my suitcase .you don’t need a lot just a quick spray .
I find if poop is hard it dissolves it quick.
You don’t need to use it if poop is still soft.
omg the new birds are SO cute!! And yeah they look so "big" - but they'll love the new aviary! 😁😁🐦🦜For those who have birds.. Mikey probably did this because of the crazy situation at the house/travel but you should always quarantine new birds in a separate room or area. There's several good videos on this (Marlene McCohen, etc. ) Also videos about how to introduce birds too. Actually the aviary can be a perfect place to (slowly) introduce these two groups together when Mikey gets done traveling!
Oooh so you went with Blue-naped Parrots. I stand corrected. I thought you went with Amazons. So you're going with the Old World meets New World for the aviary birds then. Will the parrots be the only birds in the aviary or will there be some ground-dwelling species to help eat any food that the parrots drop on the floor? I still suggest Nicobar Pigeons if you find a licensed breeder.
I like how the Pet Rooms looks now. It's a testament how fast and efficient the workers are, even if there aren't that many of them as before. Kudos to them for a job well done.
For name suggestions of the three new birds, I'm gonna suggest something themed around the Green,Blue, and Orange color scheme they have as well as their nicknames: Luntian(Green. Lulu for short), Bughaw(Blue. Hawi for short), and Dalandan(Orange. Danny or Dani for short).
I thought they would be Eclectus.
We haven’t been commenting much lately just cuz over here we are going thru something awful. BUT, I had to stop by and congratulate you on all of this. It makes me cry a happy tear that you got this farm house built and are using it to help animals… you know that already. 🥰 This has clearly been well researched and this is just the most inspiring thing I think I’ve ever seen. Remember to tell these new birds you love them each day and that you care and are their friends. They’re smart enough to know quite a bit. What a lovely aviary!!! WOW!!! That’s goals right there. I’m so proud of you & RJ and send lots of love. Also please be safe in Florida. It might be a bit of a front state with lots of crime and sadly possibly some animal issues of its own like poaching and people with less than good intentions towards animals… of course not everyone. Lots of great people in Florida too. Just don’t give personal info to any strangers and common sense stuff like that. Don’t leave your animals alone if you take any, and all of that good stuff. Down there they have a ton of animal rescues… not all are what I would call “doing it for the right reasons.” So just be cautious. I won’t be able to go to animal con but definitely vlog that so we can live vicariously thru your awesome adventures.

Also feather spray: 3/4 bottled water to 1/4 aloe juice for their spray baths. Can help feathers. So can a bit of coconut or RPO. Don’t forget quarantine protocol. I also prefer to give each bird in a cage it’s own bowl to reduce arguing over food, which may not be a thang now but might down the road. And also bedtime stories… birds like bedtime stories. 😉 lots of love! ❤️

Welcome back to you once again Mikey! Wow, what a cutie these three Blue-naped parrots are! I can't wait to see them hopefully bond with each other and be friends with the three Crimson-bellied conures, and with them waking up in their new home at the farmhouse, this is a really awesome surprise for the three of them and a great introduction to life in the farmhouse!

Had a feeling the reason you didn't want to give Filipino names to the conures was because the next species was gonna be an endemic one. These blue-naped parrots (or pikoy as they're also called) are more proof the Philippines is blessed to have such amazing nature. A shame they're near threatened in the wild though because of habitat loss as well as increasing illegal trade on Palawan

The new birds are beautiful with their bright green plumage! I'm certain they will be very happy once they settle in. The convention may seem like bad timing, but I think you will get a ton of ideas and good info for the atrium.

Hello Mikey. Enjoying you vlog from Houston 🇺🇸. Perhaps you thought about this already. Your aviary is made of wire mesh and will be the highest point in your house. Please look into lightning arrestors to ensure it’s grounded properly. Maybe one in a million for a lightning ⚡️ strike but better be safe. God Bless! 🙏🙏🙏

I never used to like birds . I thought they where a little bit annoying with the chirping and being loud. But watching your vlogs over the past couple of years, have really changed my mind about birds. I think they are awesome pets to keep. Maybe one day actually owning one!

Do you have cameras so you can monitor the birds when you are away? Maybe give them names for jewels. Sapiro, Esmeralda, Opalo? Just love their colors. Azul( I know it is Spanish for blue but still a pretty name). English names: Jade, Azure, Cyan. Congratulations 🎊 They are sopra ganda 💚💙💛

These new birds are truly beautiful!!! I can't wait to see them settle in and get used to everything. I think they are an awesome addition to the flock. The notion of a Filipino Name for them is brilliant!!! I wonder if its just normal behavior for the male birds to be a bit stand offish at first (Baby Boy was the same way but, I can see him warming up already).
