These videos are the most helpful to me as well. I had such a hard time with the idea of only keeping what you like or what you”sparks joy” when I was minimizing because I’m not a clothes person. I just wanted someone to give me a list and tell me what to keep. Otherwise, if I only kept what I loved, I would have only owned like two pairs of pajamas and my wedding dress. 😂

Oh wow I love your channel! I've just come across you this evening whilst searching for small wardrobe inspiration! May I ask a question though? What would you wear if you suddenly have to attend a funeral? Wedding? Interview? Could u tell me what you would put together or would you need to purchase?

Thanks so much! So I had an interview a few days ago and I wore my dark nice jeans and my long tan cardigan. I think I have enough to make things more formal and less depending on the situation. I will say I don’t want a corporate job so I don’t need anything too fancy and we have a wedding this spring and I’ll probably wear my green dress and borrow some shoes from my sister in law❤️ I try to borrow if I know it’s something I won’t wear often. To my great uncles funeral I wore my black shirt and nice jeans but we are a casual family so I know that can look different for different families

This is so helpful and motivating😊 I’m working on filling my 6th trash bag of clothes as I’m watching this. I still have a massive amount of clothes. It’s embarrassing honestly. My goal is to initially declutter 50 percent of my clothing and then I’ll go through everything again and declutter even more. My drawers went from being so full that I could barely close them to being less than half full. I still have my master closet to go through though. I’m proud of my progress❤

I joined your channel not so long ago and I keep watching the older videos because youtube keeps recommending them to me (which I absolutely enjoy) :)
That said, maybe it's too late, but I've noticed the blazer looks fantastic on you!
Definitely up to you if you want to wear it or not, but I wanted to share because I generally don't like blazers (despite everyone's obsession about them) and never wear them myself... So it's really surprizing how much I love it on you

Love the mustard and striped one after “sweater” lol I can’t say that, they are called jumpers down under 😂 I really like your clothes and those joggers I need!! My problem is I live in the hottest climate ever and my wardrobe is so bad, trying to stay cool and menopause heat too! 😢

I used to be a big jacket person also but I realized I liked the thought of having all the choices of jackets but for me I always went back to the same one hahah I’m a creature of comfort 😂

Hi Becky, wondering if you store any clothes away in boxes somewhere, for future use? Do you just declutter if you are bored wearing something a lot. I have some clothes for years because I find it so hard to find outfits that compliment my complexion. ❤
I used to❤️ so when I first started out I didn’t know what I liked or enjoyed wearing and finding outfits was really difficult for me. I would box up clothes I wasn’t sure about and store them away for a while to see if I would look for them in the future. This really helped me get a sense of what I really liked and didn’t like. If I didn’t go back and find that shirt or pair of pants during that season I would declutter it ❤️ thanks so sharing!
How often are you washing these clothes? We wash a weekly full load per person and with things taking longer to dry especially in winter, and my propensity to spill stuff, I think I would always need multiples per item!
Washing does vary for us as well. I usually do between 1 and 2 loads of laundry for the 3 of us per week. If we do sheets and blankets that's another load also. I tend to wear my tops and bottoms at least 2-3 times before washing unless I spill something on them 😂

For shoes, I have uggs, waterproof boots, sandals and trainers. I have 4 coats. I prefer owning more outerwear these days.
