Invest in 1) good underwear, 2) jeans or trousers, whichever you wear most, 3) shoes/boots/sandals that are comfortable and suitable for your life. And perhaps 4) a piece of jewelry or pair of earrings that you could happily wear daily forever.
@ I’ve been wearing Knix bras and panties for the past few years and I find them very comfy, supportive and they don’t show under my clothes. They also have a leakproof style of undies that I love ( as a senior).
This doesn't make any sense because the number of items required and the amount spent on each item doesn't match the method being suggested. Your max possible dollar amount spent on a bra is around $200. Most people wear what, 2 bras in a week? Which you wear year round. Compared to a coat say which if you got an equivalent quality to the bra would be $1k. Versus an equivalent pair of boots which would be around $500. At which point the only things left are going cheap on shirts socks and earrings. And maybe event wear.
In life you need TWO very good things: a mattress and shoes, because if you’re not in one, you’re in the other. That is something I heard many many years ago and I have lived many decades by it.
So true 😊. We upgraded our mattress earlier in the year and I am happy and you definitely want comfortable shoes 👟 especially if you are on your feet a lot 😊. I used to buy expensive trail shoes for work and I never regretted it, they were comfortable and lasted years. I think that people get carried away with a fantasy self and buy for that Ideal self, we need to be more honest with ourselves and buy for the life we actually have.
Agreed. Although for both items these days, there are very affordable AND good quality ones. Mattresses - even the ones in a box are really comfortable. And lately I have bought some very reasonably (Vivaia for example) priced and very comfortable.
As I am not a jewellery person, I found out that scaves are my most appreciated accessories. They add colour and visual interest to my outfits. Also if big patterns on tops are not your thing, it is easy to wear a scarf with a nice pattern instead!
Thank you for this. It’s very thought-provoking for me and quite honestly, I really need to think more about it. My husband reminds me when I’m fretting about price, that it’s value that matters more. I know that’s a privilege.
Alyssa, I agree with you. There are items I spend much more on because they have value for me. I work on my feet, so my shoes have to be high quality. I don't have any "designer" ones because a "status" label holds no value to me, but they have to have a properly constructed bed, with correct arch and heel support, and long-lasting uppers. I have little tolerance for cold weather, so my coats-sweaters-hats-gloves have to be good. And I need excellent chest support, so my bras are quite expensive. I notice that I take extra good care of those items because they've been an investment. I handwash my underwear and cashmere sweaters, brush my coats, and maintain my shoes very, very carefully. However, when it comes to bags...I change them all the time. I don't have cheap ones, but I do vary them throughout the week depending on my schedule and my outfit, and they are not investment pieces for me. I have a purse insert that stores all my daily needs and moves from handbag to handbag as needed. I also have quite a collection of minaudieres for evening events---they are the item I loan the most to my friends! (Well, those, and fascinators and hats for the horse races. I've actually begun to take a bit of "rent" fee for the hats to defray the repairs I often have to make when they're returned.)
Totally agree! Well made coats, purses, and shoes will last forever. In the long run you spend less on these items overall, because you don’t need to replace them. And, though I may not wear my formal gowns all the time, I have two gorgeous ones I use as decor in my closet! Every time I’m in there, they make me smile, because they remind me of the occasion I wore them. Ciao!
Socks. I must have good quality socks. I buy preloved wherever possible - cashmere, jeans, suits, coats, bags, as much as I can. But good quality new socks are a must for me. I love Falke.
I’ve been a loyal customer to Coach for 30 years. I just pulled out a purse yesterday that I’ve had for 22 years. It’s still in great shape and they always give Bag maintenance for free. Sustainability is so important.
If you purchase Coach from the actual store, it’s still amazing quality, the outlet coach is produced somewhere else and it’s nowhere near the same quality
You are right, time, energy and money are all on an equal plane. Time IS money. Unless we've inherited it, we need to use time and energy to make money. I've figured out how much I earn in one day at my job. Sometimes, when I'm undecided about a purchase, I think about how much time I have to work (ie: I would have to work two days to afford this purchase) in order to be able make enough money to purchase an item. It helps keep my 'wants' in check!
Shoes are key for me. My philosophy has always been that if my hair looks good, and I have on great shoes I can be confident that I look like me -sharp and curated. Thanks for this approach to curating. I have not tracked the energy part before.
This so smart. I am with you on purses. While I have a few, I typically carry the same one every day and use the others for special occasions. Still looking for a puzzle bag, but it’s an investment, so I need to think more. I am a shoe person, and needed good shoes while teaching so it’s a habit. I am working on event wear now. I bought a RL dress last year for weddings and it has been a game changer. Plan to wear it in May to a western theme wedding by adding cowboy boots-don’t have any but will thrift or borrow. I am still cleaning out my overstuffed closet and using YOUR lessons to decide what to keep
This is me too. I want one, maybe two, bags that do it all. I hate changing bags. I will pay more to have one rather then spend the same amount on more.
This was a great and helpful video. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona, so coats are not a big value for me although I love them. In fact I prefer winter clothes over summer. I think it is because I was raised in Chicago. Shoes are my number one investment, although I do not spend on designer shoes (except I do have one pair of Golden Goose - they are comfortable, stylish and I wear them a lot). Comfort is of utmost importance because at almost 68, I do not want to fall. Over the last four years, my love for handbags has increased. I do value them as an accessory that completes my outfit as well as being functional. The most expensive bag that I spent on was about $400.00. It would be hard for me to invest in a $3,000 purse. I admire you that you only have two handbags. Keep these wonderful videos coming.
Hi nikkisue! I agree! Now that we are in our 60s wow our bodies change! Just wait till these ladies discover this and hey all this running now I need a knee replacement or hey YOUTube collapsed and now I need to get a real job
I’m with you on shoes, outerwear and glasses! 😊 My shoe collection is much smaller since I stopped wearing heels but what I do have gets constant rotation and has to hold up and be comfortable. Plus, they can’t be boring! I want to smile when I put them on.
Loved this ❤ I sew my own clothes because i have expensive taste and this way i can afford beautiful fabrics. I totally agree with everything you've said here. 👏
I purchased a winter-white cashmere robe style coat from Loehmans (early outlet store) in 1989 that I still have. I don’t wear it frequently because I lived in California and now I live on the island of Madeira. I always get compliments when I wear it. It is pretty long and has some stains at the bottom so I plan to have a seamstress shorten it by 2-3 inches. I was in my 20s at the time and the investment ~ even at an outlet store ~ was big for my income. When we visit family & friends in California, I stop at every Nordstrom Rack from the San Francisco Bay Area to Silicon Valley. There are about nine. They are fantastic for shoes in a size 10.5-11 and other basics ~ blazers, cashmere sweaters, etc.
I agree with your investments on essentials. I also invest in good quality sweaters (cashmere and wool). My best investment in a purse is the my Loewe puzzle bag!! LOVE!!!
I like your video and advise for having personal style. From the videos I get a sense of what you like. I think everyone has their own style and things that are unique to them. I like that you focus on the style and not getting wrapped up in having to travel far to find clothes that work well with your style. It is realistic to the Canada including the climate and realistic places and events wear the clothes to.
Glasses are my No1 investment as they are on my face every day, all day. Shoes - having comfortable shoes is essential to looking good, if you cannot walk well, or feel comfortable in your shoes, no one will notice your clothes - all they will notice is how badly you walk. Event wear - like you I never go shopping for an outfit for an event - when I see a garment I love I buy it (if I can afford it). That way I always have a drop dead outfit for day/evening.
I am with you on shoes and coats! I also invest there. High quality materials really make a difference. I also invest in solid gold jewelry vs gold plated/gold vermeil. Solid gold is repairable by a jeweler and never tarnishes.
This is a good mental exercise to do with one's closet! My high-value categories are: shoes, especially because I live in a place with very distinct seasons, so my shoes have to hold up in all kinds of weather. Bags, though I only source those secondhand. Sweaters - my silk, cotton, and wool sweaters make me happy, I prefer knitwear to blouses and button-ups, and I would rather hand wash my sweaters than iron anything (I do have a steamer), so I invest in them. Thank you for this video!
I have 3 Kipling shoulder bags in grey, deep red and blue and rotate them based on my outfit colour scheme. They're weatherproof and washable and roomy enough and I just don't need anything else. I love them so much! Oh, I do have an old black leather bag for "fancier" occasions or when black is essential.
Great video as always Alyssa. Living in the Pacific NW, US, I focus on coats, sweaters and shoes, in quality materials (wool, cashmere, leather) that keep me warm and can become a lasting and loved part of my wardrobe.
First time commenter ( I think). This. Is. Your. Best. Most important, perhaps. Puts into words what I've started to do. And fixes me the rationale I needed to justify what decisions and choices ice started to make
Awesome video and timing! I always get some money for Christmas that I spend on style, I will be figuring out where I spend and what I value before I buy anything!
Winter coats, well cut blazers and tailored trousers are all huge value pieces for me. They need to fit right and be made of appropriate materials for my climate - which can be trickier to find 2nd hand or from a budget retailer. I don't prioritize acquiring fashion-brand purses, but I do prioritize well made purses in durable materials. I can't tell you how much mileage I've gotten out of my 15yo flap bag from Fossil in pebbled leather. Ditto my older Coach and Kate Spade bags that I bought on consignment for pennies on the dollar. I know they don't have the cachet of a luxury bag but they're old-school mid-range good quality and I haven't craved buying a new bag in years and years because they still look barely worn or "as new" (with surprisingly minimal care) and fill all my wardrobe needs.
Loved this video! Yes! Shoes! I have really wonky feet, so investing time and money in the right shoes is essential. I also love occasion wear, but don’t have that many big events in a year, so I’ve started experimenting with dressing pieces down so I can wear them to work or to a more laid back event without feeling completely overdressed.
That was terrific on all fronts. I live in a mountain town in BC and think about all the critical points on what to invest in. Just a few quality purses, Super comfortable and good looking foot wear, ( my feet are a big problem) as well as coats! You really hit the nail on the head for me. Thank you for sharing. Love your style!
Great video, wonderful info. I totally agree with your investment choices. I tell people who ask me about my shoe and bag collection, "It does not matter how much weight I gain or lose...my shoes and bags ALWAYS fit"! Thanks for your insight. Happy Holidays!!
If you gain a lot of weight your shoes will also not fit you, diamond earrings however will always fit you 😂, the same cannot be said for rings, watches and bracelets 😂 my sister can't wear her Cartier watch nor her engagement ring as she put on weight 😳. She needs to have it resized.
What a thought-provoking video, Alyssa! You definitely have me thinking in a new way as I look to add some pieces to my closet in the new year. Footwear is definitely on the top of my list simply because I have knee issues and I can't afford to deal with less-than-wonderful shoes. Also, I live in the southern US and I get so tired of t-shirts for 70% of the year, so now you have me thinking that I should put high quality, super interesting summer weight tops on my priority list. Thanks for a great Sunday sesh! (As an aside, I've been noticing that several videos in the last several months do not contain the in-video links that you mention that you will put up top - just FYI)
I love boots too (always struggle with shoes). I see value in my ankle boots because I take a half size so when I find a brand that are comfortable then I will buy if they’re in my size. I do look after them and they’re all comfortable. I like a warm waterproof coat and the one I have will hopefully last me a long time. I bought it at the end of winter sale three years ago. I don’t have many bags as often put my phone and purse in my pockets in the winter. I have three beautiful bags that I bought from a wonderful maker at different times in Denmark many years ago. I have a couple of others. I don’t go to events or ‘out’ often except to walk my dog.
Suuuuppppperrrr helpful. I have been slowly curating handbags and I have learned so much about myself and what makes me feel good. This year I have also learned I need to invest in sweaters since I don’t live in a super cold climate. I have good lightweight jackets, but my sweater game is weakkkkk…and I don’t need many. Also, I need to find one perfect loafer that is comfortable and stylish and fun. Thank you I this video helped me see some gaps in my process. 😊😊😊
Hi Alyssa, I totally agree with you. While I am very careful in general in my acquisitions, shoes is a very difficult category for me, I never feel entirely satisfied and I tend to impulsively buy whenever I see shoes that I think could work for me. Cheers from Buenos Aires
Thank you soooo much for this video. It resonates 💯%, right down to the bags and footware! Now I feel I can confidently turn my style into something classy, and just own it. ☺️
Yay footware!! I’m Italian too , ah ha genetics! sure that must be it, runs deep !! Lol😂😂 my parents always dressed and I’m having so much fun learning and styling along with you and the sustainable podcast ladies.
Super helpful! I too invest glasses, shoes and coats. I will take your cue for investing in event-wear. Had clothes crisis recently as there were many events in one week and I was unprepared. Thank you!
This was another great video. Could you please tell us the brand of the short light brown coat you are wearing? It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for for such a long time. Thank you
Hi Alyssa, good advice... Where I invest is in my outerwear and shoes. I live in the UK so there's a lot of weather! I have a lot of great jackets and coats. And it's the first thing people see. 👍
I agree with your picks, especially coats and sunglasses and shoes. This is where I also choose to invest and after watching this video I decided I need another coat and another pair of sunglasses😄Thank you
As a fellow Canadian, I agree on coats and jackets. I like variety and I tend to wear them for years. I want to spend more time on shoes. Always feel like I’m missing the right shoe! w Also working on simple evening capsule wardrobe so I can feel like me and ward off those impulsive event specific purchsses
Also, I do invest in Blazers, boots, shoes , Jewelry, and bags, and belts. I think top notch Accessories, thrift and otherwise is my signature quiet nuance. I livelihood was retail furniture management and ownership. Accessories, are like the Accent pillows on the sofa, the just right lamp or chandelier? And the rugs and flooring are the boots and shoes. 🌞
Great video! I agree 100% about coats, especially in the Canadian context. I also invest in quality hats and mitts, so I feel cute and cozy when outdoors in the winter.
This might be silly but I always make sure that the pants I buy have pockets. I do not always like to carry a bag so buying pants with pockets ensures that I get the most use out of them. I also completely agree on sunglasses completely changing a look!
I just bought a dark brown loose fit minimum detail long coat pre owned. It was made of synthetic material very similar to wool (woolly tec) and its drape but very light in weight. As soon as I put it on I knew I’d wear it often. But I spent about $15US for it. It is possible to buy long wear items without breaking bank.
Investing in nice jeans has made a difference for me. For years I've thought that I hate jeans because I kept trying different random ones at the thrift store. The best ones were "okay", but I just ended up getting rid of all of them. I ended up finding some brand new Levi's ribcage jeans at the thrift that look and fit amazingly, so I bought a few more pairs of Levi's and I will never go back. Dresses are another area that I spend more on, even secondhand. Cheap dresses look cheap and tacky. Nicer dresses, especially in natural fabrics, will look beautiful, even if they are casual. Shoes. You said enough. Good shoes make a big difference. I wear casual footwear, but just owning a few nice pairs of shoes, instead of a bunch of cheap ones, has really improved my life.
🇨🇦Ha! Yes! Canadian here, now living away from home. I love my coats. Where I live, we have 4 seasons and I can’t wait til it gets chillier so I can pull out the coats I’ve collected over the years. And they feel like home 🇨🇦. I feel that the locals think I look overdressed or change my coats too often, but these are not new purchases. The saying goes “When in Rome…”, but I’m Canadian. “Our coats are our outfits”. Thank you. Representation does, indeed, matter! 😂❤🇨🇦
For me it's outerwear, knitwear, shoes and handbags. I prefer to spend a bit more there than anywhere else because it's totally worth it. Making sure that something will make sense long term and with my existing wardrobe is the main reason I shop online. I need time. I want to try it on over the span of several days with as many pieces I already have to be sure it has a place in my life. I can't do that in a store. The vibe of a boutique can trick me into thinking this item is perfect when it's really not.
I have 1 Black crossbody bag that was designer, full price and 1 burgundy tote that was mall store, on sale. This covers any outfit I have. I find that having more bags gets distracting for me. Plus, who wants to keep moving essentials from one bag to the next?
For me, my biggest areas of investment are jeans and shoes. I wear jeans a lot, and when I wear them, I find they can make or break the outfit, so I want them to be PERFECT. As for shoes, they can really change the vibe and silhouette of a look, and I want them to be comfortable and long-lasting. As an added bonus, great shoes and great jeans make a strong foundation for an outfit. Once I have those pieces on lock, I can swap out my top, coat, accessories, etc., for more affordable pieces.
Hi 👋 Alyssa! Great video! Handbags are the most fun investments in my closet! I love purses and change them daily! And as an Esthetician I would consider yr skincare regimen seriously and invest there too as appropriate. And OF COURSE, shoes!!! Comfy where you can walk miles! I had a pair of Gucci slides cdnt walk a block, whats the point? Comfort in walking👍👍I adore Birks and Ecco. Alyssa those gold pants look ridiculous
Alyssa, I was shouting (not really shouting) Yes, Yes, Yes... through your whole video. Beauty AND Function. Yes! I love what you said about everything. About bags... When did they go from being supporting actors, that carry our 'necessities', to the Star of the Show that almost 'wear' us? And shoes... They definitely can elevate an outfit, but not when we're carrying them because they're killing our feet. And, great coats... They can also conceal. LOL No one needs to know that we don't look totally spectacular underneath, when we're out shopping. Event Wear... Another big Yes! You want to look and feel fabulous, so be strategic. Give it your best shot, not a multitude of OK shots. Now glasses...I agree with everything you said. They do make a big difference. But sadly, I just can't seem to find sizes and shapes that suit me well. Help! Thank you for this excellent video, Alyssa!
I would never think of Christina in your league, I always think of her as high consumerism until more recently and very trend led. In fact it would be cool to see you style her wardrobe.
I invest in boots and coats in terms of dollar value (also Canadian). But I spend a lot of time on Etsy and when I travel to find unique jewlery pieces, but I spend less $$ per piece.
Having a hard time with handbags matching all my outfits. I don't buy designer with flashy logos but I'm willing to spend on good quality. I'm a shoe girl as well and sometimes my bags just don't blend well. I'm wondering if I need a neutral that matches with all shoes & textures. 😅
My footwear is always leather or suede no man made materials other than my Wellington boots, I have a huge collection of coats, blazers and trench Coats, I have numerous handbags and change the contents bag to bag by using a bag liner into which I put all my contents.
Not on topic but I’ve been trying to figure out how you three came to know each other and how the podcast idea happened… I’ll keep digging but you could do a whole episode just on that to catch us newbies up 😂😅
I have foot + back issues. Along with having size 10, I have yet to buy footwear second hand. Handbags are my best buys second hand. I have 3 leather bags from thrift stores purchased for a total of $30.
I wear both prescription glasses and sunglasses. My glasses are always on; reading, working and driving.. so I don’t mind spending the money on those.. I tried contacts.. dont have the patients for them.. lol. These 2 are my work horse items that I wont skimp on…or can’t afford to really😂
Coats coats coats! Live in under state NY, foothills of the Adirondacks. This year I have preordered a Paytner coat (Batch 19.5). A VERY big investment but am tired of not being warm enough. (Am allergic to down.. seriously a problem.) Check out this company! Have cleaned out my wardrobe which now includes have an olive linen button down Pomp, few basic tshirt (Everlane) Apparently I am NOT a fashion person so had some HUGE holes in my wardrobe. Lost some wgt, had 2 belts cut to fit at the shoe maker, tailored a dress to fit and invested in your BRAVE belt edition. Wow!! Right? Purchased 1 newish pr of jeans.. the rest I wear belted.. all 3 of you (Sustain This) have had an influence on me. Thanks for your thoughtful content.
This video totally gave me an ah-ha moment!!! I started investing in cashmere (I live in a cold climate 20 years ago and I can proudly say I own very little itchy wool that I want to ripoff my body by Spring)😂😅I have a LOT of shoes, at all price points. Now I am seeing my patterns. BUT the handbag thing stumps me SO much. I am ready to buy the “one” for each season so I’ll just feel elevated and chic but can’t seem to pull the trigger on the cost BUT having SO many dupes has cost me a fortune. I get paralyzed I’ll make the wrong decision. Maybe I need a wish list -shape, size etc…🤔
I’m more than willing to spend money on good shoes and glasses because obviously your eyes and feet are important. Same for bras. I don’t spend as much on handbags or other things, I like to thrift everything else if possible
I have about 50 handbags and usually choose my clothing for the day according to what handbag I want to wear. I never pay more than $500 for a handbag.
Maybe jeans since realistically, thats what I usually wear. I'm surprised you didn't mention shirts since you so often wear your power of the people shirt.
Invest in 1) good underwear, 2) jeans or trousers, whichever you wear most, 3) shoes/boots/sandals that are comfortable and suitable for your life. And perhaps 4) a piece of jewelry or pair of earrings that you could happily wear daily forever.
I agree, and would add invest in good quality coats/ blazers and scarves. They last a long time and make a big impact on my outfits!
What's a good underwear brand and style you like that are comfortable in bras and undies? These are key pieces that help make the outfit.
@ I’ve been wearing Knix bras and panties for the past few years and I find them very comfy, supportive and they don’t show under my clothes. They also have a leakproof style of undies that I love ( as a senior).
The importance of a good bra cannot be underestimated

Love the point about investment in not just💰but also time and energy!🎯❤
Such important insight to realize that investment also means the amount of time and energy we spend in sourcing our clothing items. It’s so true!

I’m with you on shoes, outerwear and glasses! 😊 My shoe collection is much smaller since I stopped wearing heels but what I do have gets constant rotation and has to hold up and be comfortable. Plus, they can’t be boring! I want to smile when I put them on.
Hi Alyssa,
for me one of your best videos, with an important question to answer. Love your channel and also Christina and Signe. Love from Germany 😘
Loehmann’s was the BEST!!! I picked up a Fendi baguette from there in 2003 for $250 and still have it too 😂❤
I agree with your investments on essentials. I also invest in good quality sweaters (cashmere and wool). My best investment in a purse is the my Loewe puzzle bag!! LOVE!!!
With age I prefer to spend on experiences more than things, that's why I'm treating myself to your december 14th shop your closet event!
Ooo thank you so much for joining!
Good point on the solid gold jewellery 👍
This is a good mental exercise to do with one's closet! My high-value categories are: shoes, especially because I live in a place with very distinct seasons, so my shoes have to hold up in all kinds of weather. Bags, though I only source those secondhand. Sweaters - my silk, cotton, and wool sweaters make me happy, I prefer knitwear to blouses and button-ups, and I would rather hand wash my sweaters than iron anything (I do have a steamer), so I invest in them. Thank you for this video!
I invest in shoes, handbags and versatile jewelry and coats
I took notes! Aligned with ALL your suggestions! Even took snapshots of certain outfits!! Wow! Loving the inspiration & education!!
I agree 💯I love blazers, but for some reason I tend to reach for my cardigans more. So for now no more investing in blazers.
Same here, I always invest in bag and shoes. Choose the best and you will wear and feel good every single time wearing and enjoying it!💕
I invest in shoes but no more handbags. I have several designer handbags and do not need anymore. Love your podcast Sustain this! Listen frequently!
Always a pleasure to spend a little bit of my Sunday with you ❤
This is the best video and advise on fashion I have seen. So on point and sensible. Thank you!
Hopping on to say, wow, would not have predicted that color looking so lovely on you! Thx for talking about the taboo subjects with us!
I’m so glad the video resonated with you! It’s definitely been a process figuring out what works for me over time and I’m always learning!
Great advice, as always! So many valuable points to help with curating our wardrobes. Thank you, Alyssa!
Tottaly agree with shoes and coats. And bags for me are also very very important😊
This is where I also choose to invest and after watching this video I decided I need another coat and another pair of sunglasses😄Thank you
A Good looking and warm! winter coat ( or two) is very important. 🧥
So glad to see that she includes men in her styling sessions!❤
FYI, I allow one bag total in my life.
Great video! I'd say outerwear because it's part of the first impression many times :)
Warm coats are high priority for me!
As a fellow Canadian, I agree on coats and jackets. I like variety and I tend to wear them for years.
I want to spend more time on shoes. Always feel like I’m missing the right shoe! w
Also working on simple evening capsule wardrobe so I can feel like me and ward off those impulsive event specific purchsses
Yes! Winter accessories are key, aren't they!? Thanks for watching Leah!
This might be silly but I always make sure that the pants I buy have pockets. I do not always like to carry a bag so buying pants with pockets ensures that I get the most use out of them. I also completely agree on sunglasses completely changing a look!
Agree with all of this. Another great video.🎉
Thanks, Alyssa, for the content. ❤ May you have a blessed Holiday season. ❤
I also follow your friend, Christina Mychas! ❤
I never wear sunglasses 🕶️. I need to venture into that area of my wardrobe.
GREAT video!👍🏾
🇨🇦Ha! 😂❤🇨🇦
Also, completely off subject. Your makeup looks amazing today I love the eyeshadow that you did.
Oh thank you!
Just found your channel but your slim and tall just gorgeous most of us can’t pull off these outfits you can make a 5 dollar t shirt look fabulous
Excellent insight. Thanks for sharing. 😍😻
1) footwear 2) jewelry 3) bag 4) sweaters 5) jeans
Love the tee you have on in this vlog - can you tell me what brand it is?
I Love your list! Mine is very similar :)
Bags! Yes. I will use the same bag for a decade. And yes Shoes! I polish and repair my shoes. Price per use makes these items affordable.
I covet those gold pants! Who designed those? Love your channel.
Very useful info!
I love your earrings and your silver ring! Where have you bought them? Thanks!
Her earrings are from Monica Vinader - l think they are from the Nura series
I wear both prescription glasses and sunglasses. My glasses are always on; reading, working and driving.. so I don’t mind spending the money on those.. I tried contacts.. dont have the patients for them.. lol. These 2 are my work horse items that I wont skimp on…or can’t afford to really😂
New to the channel. Can I just get a ticket for the shop my closet or do I need a membership? Thanks.
Hello! Great question and welcome! You can simply buy a ticket once they’re available:) (I’ll let you know when!) members get a discount!
Wow thank you so much - so glad my content has been helpful!
I also like to invest in shoes and most of them I use them over and over so they have to last me for years.
Please add a link for your handbag. Thank you.
It's the Loewe Puzzle bag, you should be able to find it in many colour and size variations with a quick online search.
Maybe jeans since realistically, thats what I usually wear.
I'm surprised you didn't mention shirts since you so often wear your power of the people shirt.
I ALWAYS invest in footwear. If it's an item that affects my health, I won't buy it thrifted or used.
