I like that! My lorus field watch I considered too small but as you say for 30 notes, what's not to like..... So down to Argos it is! Excellent find, many thanks Dan.👏
I got a Carnival watch from aliexpress that does the same thing when you reset the chrono, such a weird thing, it takes ages to reset but is kind of fun lol. Great review!
I have an unusual V657 chrono where the subdials are lumibrited, also have a 2 tone Kinetic with full lumibrite on the Pulsar brand and a similar Seiko 7T92 with full lumibrite.
Nice, thank you for the review. I have the automatic version of the field watch, model RL415BX9G, and it also doesn't say lumibrite on the dial, wonder why they left out this information. Also I wonder how the full lume compares with the quartz versions, field and chronograph, as I couldn't find videos about the automatic version on UA-cam... All versions are good looking, the only thing I don't like is the lack of contrast between the white hands and the creamy color of the dial, not very legible in daylight.
Picked up the black dial version from Rubicon a few weeks back. The movement goes way back to when Pulsar was making pilot chronographs for the British military. It’s a super cheap plastic quartz which kept costs low and made them easily replaced. This Lorus is using the Gen 1 dial. The Gen 2 had running seconds on a subdial. Until recently these were still being produced by Pulsar, and are really hard to find for a reasonable price. As it’s all in the Seiko family, it’s not a bother to have Pulsar or Lorus on the dial when it comes to military homage watches 🤷♂️
This looks good I will probably stick with my normal version I wear it on my evening shifts out in the Van small and I don't care if I catch it chiller doors!
Looks really nice. How did you find the subdial hands in regards to them hitting the markers? I guess it's not really the point as it's just a fun watch but just curious. I wouldn't be surprised if they all hit bang on..!
I’ve got the black dial version of this watch. Seconds hands, both central and subdial, are very inconsistent in terms of hitting markers 🤷♂️. Doesn’t bother me.
Got the Field version Lumibrite crackin piece swapped out the strap though for one of your Premium Green Natos recently n this piece looks fantastic....You wanna check out infantrys MDC 026 piece full lumed dial great piece for super cheap...
60 GBP? Well you can’t beat that with a stick. Yeah fortunately and unfortunately the lume doesn’t have to last too long for me if I need to time “something” in the dark. 😅
Lorus is very underrated. They make some really good watches for not a lot of money.
I really do agree!

I love my field watch, it got the most wrist time in the year since I got it.
I'm getting one to go with my other two I've got and I think I'll stick it on a nice leather tan strap..cheers Dan for the great review.

my lorus lumibrite "sports" was shipped to from australia
Cool! The 1/10 second subdial as definitely surprising. Too bad the lume wasn’t at least equal to the field watch…

I'm sold on this, the case is very nice for the price

Watchus (g)Lorus, ultimus lumus! (just some ancient Latin wisdom words...)
Excellent review mate. You're aware they have an automatic version of the famed budget luminous G10 field watch as well, right?
No way!

Lol, this will be fine for you then!
Not a chronograph person. More diver but that's fantastic for the price
60 pounds?
