Uncle Bjørn, your family has worked hard and have earned this house. Heck, to us you are family, being on the living room TV for over a decade, sharing the amazing, the good, and the not so good. You have been an invaluable contributor to driving EVs worldwide. You have been honest (sometimes too honest) about, well, everything. We wish you nothing but the best and are very happy for the baby news. Hope this little bit helps.
Wow, big donation. Highly appreciated! I'm glad that you have enjoyed my content.
Wow! Very nice donation.
Independence is absolute key! Its one of your core values. And being a very knowledgeable and cool guy!
@Carmaniac? Please be a little bit more like TB
Hi Björn i will definitely take those offers or even contact certain EV brands since you are producing very authentic and thorough reviews which are very very valuable and actually lead to many people also buying certain EV`s. Number of follower doesn't really matter after 1-300k what matters is the quality of the content and that is very good. I hope some companies also see that and you are able to also produce for them some content. I am sure you'll find some good deals and i would really go forward to those while also keeping your true values alive :).
The answer is to act as a consultant to these companies and charge £500 per day (equivalent). Your credibility is completely established and you can maintain your principles. The companies will get an objective analysis prior to releasing the car and results will be proved in their sales.
... not a bad idea - but take IT specific rates (1500+)
Aye, but that is way too cheap. It comes with a revered brand, one day €2000 minimum + expenses
Problem is: Corporations don't want truth.
They crave affirmation.
Owner, Board or CEO will never be involved.
Middle management is hiring consulting.
And they hire those who confirm that middle management did great.
@@mareksuchowski9127 maybe, but then maybe it is not for Bjørn to put his name in (his call). I just think a reasonable balance can be made like e.g. hosting a car event with EVs without having to sell out or even give prototype feedback on cars - some without making videos about it
Integrity and honesty are hard things to find in this day and age, particularly in the "influencer" role. It's a tough call to say "no" to paid jobs from manufacturers in order for you to maintain the high level of integrity and morals that you clearly have. I appreciate all of your videos and the efforts that you go to in order to provide us with entertaining and informative FREE video content. Keep it up my friend!
Thank you very much :)
Your videos are what convinced my family to go electric for both the family car (Model 3) and the commercial van (ID Buzz Cargo). The incredible mix of entertainment, information, and totally unbiased analysis is irreplaceable in the industry, let alone UA-cam, and, though it's not much, I want to contribute what I can to help support it. Keep it up, man.
Thank you :)
Bought my first Tesla Model S eight years ago because of your videos. Even called him Tootøtje because of the O in Bjørn. Thanks!
Wow, long time follower!
The way I see it, you are one of the hardest working UA-camrs, nobody else regularly sits in the car for 10 hours at one trip and reports on their 1000 km challenge.
And who else has more than one video a day as average uploads? Researched some other channels, no one is even near that.
Björn you absolute legend, I'll never forget seeing you at Varberg with that C40 Volvo (or whatever its called), hell I even spilled hot coffee over my fingers and I shook it off like it's nothing.
Stay true to yourself, freedom is priceless and your freedom is only limited by your sense of responsibility and conscience. But if you sell your freedom, you will find that your conscience and freedom are in someone else's hands.
That being said, You got over 300.000 subscribers. And you basically need 200.000€. So suppose half of the subscribers are people who just subscribe but don't actually follow your content actively, like the rest of us do.
150.000 people means You need just over 1,4 euros per person to get that house, that studio and make sure Your second child is welcomed into a family not burdened by the concerns of what sort of roof over the head it will have.
With that being said, I'm throwing in my part of those 200.000€, in hopes that You will stay free and independent in the years to come, as Your channel keeps growing together with the people's interest in electric cars. This is a thanks from someone who took the plunge and went from an X-Trail diesel straight to a classic Ioniq EV 28kWh and then got an iX3 as a company car. I knew NOTHING about owning a BEV until I saw Your content. I took a trip over Europe only after watching YOU take such a trip. I spent a few late hours with your 1000km challenge streams and I have never been bored by Your content. You don't try to make it sound sophisticated, you're just a man who's become synonymous with genuinity, and I am grateful for the fact that there's always content to look forward to. (edited the comment as my math was preposterously bad in how many € are needed per subscriber, I went and did a good ol' mixup of SEK and EUR).
Also, I just finished the whole video, had to watch in segments due to various reasons.
Some Björn merch would definitely be welcome, such as, but not limited to:
-A T-shirt with a animated mean Björn holding that bloody thing and asking "WHAT IS THIS, SOME KIND OF WEAPON???"
-Björn removing insects from the windshield with "ABC - Always be cleaning"
-Björn in disbelief with a good old "SHIIIIIIIT"
-Björn eating a double sausage with the classic, yet timeless "Ah yes, double sausage penetration"
I know I'd buy the shit out of those
There’s nothing wrong with getting paid for the work you do so long as you don’t damage your brand and reputation. Remain honest, maintain your integrity and do no harm to others and your followers and fans will stick with you.
Good luck ♥️
I stopped watching channels where i can tell they are paid to say something good. You are real an i thank you for that
CarWow did a commercial for Volvo. Lost a bit of confidence in them.
@@kjelle5350 WTF you do realize CarWow the original company is a car sales listing aggregate. They always had a conflict of interest since the start of UA-cam channel.
Dude, keep it up. I work with IT in a media/TV company in Brazil, and journalists always watch content in English, yours (about EV's) is one they take as a reference and I can tell you that they envy your independence.
Honesty is a rare and valuable commodity
If you have editorial control, no problem. We get to hear an honest opinion, and you get well paid.
You do you, but paid content is never honest … never. You can’t [eat] your cake and have it too.
I think you're missing the point about "editorial control"@@highlanderes
paid content is to only good things and edit out bad things
and bad thing for compettior lol
I agree, but you have to maintain complete editorial control and if they violate certain terms like fake editing then, by contract, ownership reverts back to you, etc. Consult an IP lawyer first.
I feel like I have to put my personal testimony out, but Bjorn is the real deal. I contacted him for making the Sentry Pro app a sponsor to the channel and he replied with "thank you but I already have enough sponsors"! The dude is truly in just for the EVs and if that can feed the family why not... but not the other way around... absolute respect!
Bjorn, you should be aware of your immense value! Your content about electric cars, is the most complete and accurate! Your opinion about an electric car becomes law for most buyers, at least in Europe! You have the power to raise the sales of a car or destroy them! Use this power! I know people who bought an electric car, without testing it themselves, just based on your opinion about that car! After they bought it, they proved you right! Keep going!
Being able to say anything you want is priceless and your channel will have value because everything presented is true and not influenced. That is very hard to find. So just be yourself Bjorn, and we will be with you and support you as much as we can, because you bring us value
I think your independence is your biggest asset. Because it says a lot about many invisible but crucial elements: trust, loyalty, viewer community, reference base, etc. Don't lose that. So like some commented, editorial control would be key, if that is ironclad, and you can or they will reference your channel, I would go for it, as it would expose your channel as well. As soon as you lose control, you're cooked. If you feel that risk is too high, stay away from the toxic money game and trust your gut.
You could absolutely do consulting for companies during the development phase. You're the only reviewer who caught the BYD Atto 3 overheating issues.
Thanks for your awesome content throughout these years. Stay independent always.
Thank you :)
Thank you for your videos, Bjorn. I discovered your videos 2 and a half years ago and I thought you were so weird at first because your videos weren’t scripted and edited in the ways I was used to, but the more I watched the more I realized I like your style way more. I bought an electric Kona and Model 3 because of you and I couldn’t be happier with the switch to electric. Thank you for being a good funny dude.
I'm not a sponsor, but I see all your videos and really like all of them! You give an independent information about EVs, TBTP is the most complete test procedure for the consumer. Unfortunately my economic situation doesn't allow me to contribute, I'm divorced, I'm paying my used model S and improving my new house. Anyway, if you are able to continue independent, it's better, but if not, I'll keep watching you. Thank you Bjørn!
Thanks for helping me buy my first ever car. As someone who waited on automobile life due to environmental reasons, you gave me a lot of information to finally get on the road in a BEV. I’ve enjoyed it a lot!
My only wish is if you could two videos: a buying guide video for new fans for end of 2023? And second would be an infodump on your current understanding of battery charging best practices.
Thanks for your hard work!
Thank you. I will consider it.
Bjørn. Your knowledge is worth billions to a large car manufacturer. They know, you know. As you say, your youtube channel isn’t super big, but your competence is uncomparable. You don’t owe us anything. Go big!
For your independence
Thank you very much :)
Thanks!
Takk skal du ha :)
Been watching your videos for many years and would like to show my appreciation. Thanks for the clear explanations on UA-cam economics. I've recently subscribed to YT Premium so I don't gets adds any more. Does this influence your remuneration?
Thank you. UA-cam premium does help me, yes.
I really enjoy your content. Please keep up the good work and independency 🙂
Takk skal du ha :)
1. for an BEV channel you are kind of big! 2. stay 100% indypendent and better try other incomes. maybe like you said do only advertise if you can tell stuff that you are 100% true! 3. stay as you are ♥
I think your current principles are great, and you should try (carefully) out these other opportunities. One has to remember that if someone wants to pay 17kEUR then they will also want to get that kind of value out of you, so be careful. Giving up editorial control can be dangerous. You're quite outspoken and honest, but someone else editing what you say could probably turn that message into something you do not like, just the way they edit it.
Thanks
Thank you very much!
Bjorn , you are the Goat in the Ev space. Your takes are literally stamps of approval for ev consumers. People will in fact hold to buy any particular car until you've reviewed it. That's how your reviews matter to us. Stay independent please!
Kiitos!
Thank you :)
I would say absolutely go for such opportunities, as long as they're not forcing you into false statements there's absolutely nothing wrong with paid content it's part of your personal growth and networking with other peers.
Danke!
Danke schön :)
The fact you are independent is the reason I value your channel so much! The information you deliver is accurate for me and this is all it matters!
I think your independency is priceless! I like the fact that even when you talk about a car you like you would mention the negative details that might be important for some people (like the new blinkers on Teslas)
I think your freedom of speech is one of your most valuable asset
Bjorn - First of all thank you for everything that you have done! You really are a rare source of unbiased EV reviews and information out there! There will be a time when someone writes the history of the world's transformation to EVs, and you will be a big part of that! If only there was a way to count the number of cars sold directly because of one of your videos - really, your influence is HUGE, waaaayyy bigger than you think!! Thank you!!
Stay independent, but I totally agree with your burger ad 🍔
Hehehe, thank you :) Jafs ftw!
Hi Bjorn, don’t feel sorry for missing the Euro 17,000 job. Could you set up a link and I encourage each subscriber to put in Euro 1 for you. This will then solve your financial problem.
Tak!
Takk skal du ha :)
Having the same problem. A lot of digital media takes a lot of money for make paid reviews with a big lack of trusted information.
Anda, ¿que haces por aquí compañero? Mola :D
@@castome7piJejeje, sigo a Bjorn desde hace años y hemos estado juntos en varios eventos. Tenemos el mismo problema con respecto a no vendernos y ganar menos dinero.
Sponsors is ok

Charge for companies to use your quotes or clips in their promos is ok.
Companies paying for you to take part in their marketing is not ok.
Thanks for great content and being open and funny.

@@bjornnyland what, no - thank you. we're all just leeching here. you're the one driving even shitty EVs 1.000km and more.
Integrity is key. If possible, only charge for content if you can be neutral.
Takk skal du ha :)
Independence and reputation is already skyrocketing in value. You are already seeing the benefits of it in a world where most reviews are paid to some extent! It is also a question of ethics. You have a solid platform already and if you stick to it you will absolutely reap the benefits in the future 🙂
Congratulations Bjorn and to wifey on your great news. You are a true original EV reviewer. You work very hard for your rewards, don't apologise. House building is very expensive. After divorce it is the most stressful time in one's life. You need advice from a person with experience in building houses.
Well said! You are one of my favorite honest and fun reviewers in the industry. Kyle Conner recommended your videos years ago. Would love to see you and Out of Spec do some content together. Looking forward to the next one.Thank you!
As EVs will only become more important and relevant over the next years I am sure your channel will grow organically and generate more revenue. You are in a great spot, mostly because of your honest reviews.
Takk!
Thank you :)
Hey, Bjorn, I’m not a man aged 18-45 or a lady boy, and I’ve been watching you for a long time. I remembered you got stuck in Chiang Rai during covid (money for nothing, chicks for free?!). Glad to hear that you’re expecting another kid and that the community are supporting you. Cheers from California.😎
17k Euros is the "budget" - not necessarily your part of it when you get the fine print. Independence and not selling out is a big pride and integrity issue.
You are one of the reasons i bought a Tesla. You work like a horse and i appreciate your honesty more than anything. Thank you! (PS: all of you manufacturers that have been tested here are pieces of shit for not paying this man for his hard work, reviewing your cars, especially Tesla.)
Thank you :)
Dziękujemy/ Bedankt / Takk skal du ha
Thank you very much :)
Watched your videos since your first Millennium Falcon videos.
You’ve come a long way.
Never sell your soul, brother!
Bjorn , because of your videos I learned so much about EV's, the good and the bad, and decided to take the plunge and buy a Tesla...would never have done that without the straight goods from you...this is a must channel for anyone interested in EV's
Köszönjük!
Thank you so much!
Yours is the only channel I trust when it comes to ev reviews. Others are overly positive or simply skip over the bad points.
I really appreciate you and your channel! What I like most is that the tests are so comparable - when I got my EV, I wanted to have a car going 400 km on one charge. So your channel is perfect for deciding. Also I do long road trips - so the 1000 km challenge time is something real for me, too.
I love that you're independent - and hope it'll stay that way - but I think you can bring in sponsors and even sponsored content without hurting your reputation - let me explain of what I mean by that
* Your core competency is giving your opinion and reporting on your experience of EVs. In my opinion any paid content or sponsorship from an EV car maker can hurt that reputation.
* Things around EVs - and there are many topics / products - you can bring on as many sponsors as you like 🙂
* ABRP, Kempower, Makusbil - you have already these and they ae related to EVs - not hurting your reputation, content, opinion on EVs.
* Circle K, Ionity, other charging networks, even sponsors for your travels, any Thailand promotions, ... you get the story ..
You could even do videos "for them" - I don't mind seeing a video of you in the Kempower Factory, I know they sponsor you, but it was a) interesting and b) I'm not intending to buy a fast charger 😇
I would be less confident if as an example BYD paid you for anything - then I would always expect that even if you don't want it, you will be biased regarding them.
I would love if you could expand in the future - what I'm really keen on is comparing two (or more) cars on a "routine travel. Say you go from Oslo to Göteborg - who will be there first?
Start off with 100% OR even as bigger challenge - assume you decide to spontaneously go there for a WE. You start "after work" having 40% SoC.
Now compare Tesla Model Y Performance vs. Polestar 2 AWD and see who's first while obeying speed limits (+VAT of course 😉)
If you would do paid ads within your content, I would expect you to reduce the number of UA-cam ads in your video, though ...
Biggest point abut this in my opinion is transparency. If you do any paid sponsorships etc., let people know. And explain why. Any "related EV stuff" like ABRP don't need an explanation.
I don't know if you will actually read this but ,I'm also in the EV industry altough a bit different , sometimes things get hairy especially in tough financial situations , i know because i am also experiencing something similar .
Don't ever compromise yourself. You might come to regret it , times are tough, but eventually, a solutikn will present itself . You did the right thing, brother , just keep at it !
Thank you Bjorn for all you do and have done! Glad it all worked out. For EVs your reviews are the gold standard. God bless you and your family.
Interesting! As a content provider to UA-cam with sponsors, borrowing cars from the car companies, you do have a fine line to take as an independent voice. But this is your business, and it supports your family (and new home). I think the point the company was missing, is the fact that not only do you have independent opinions, but you have a lot of useful experience to share with them as a very experienced EV driver and VLogger. Perhaps the problem is that some company cultures are more responsive to user input than others, while others are more interested in an endorsement than your candour. I think, now you’ve built your brand, that your opinions and experience are absolutely worth something. I appreciate your knowledge and experience, and bought my car on the strength of the information you provided. Keep the videos coming, Bjørn - your honesty and integrity are a pleasant alternative to a lot of content out there.
Bjorn, you’re such a legend! Keep doing what you do and take advantage of any financial opportunities that come along like speaking at events etc. you obviously put huge time and effort into these videos and your channel.
I think most people love watching your channel because you tell it like it is unfiltered - As you say keeping creative control I think is key so that your words don’t get taken out of context or edited a particular way that you are not happy with. Totally agree with you about ad breaks 😂 - Wishing you every success in the future 😎
Sponsored speaking is great and fun money. In the US, some firms book speaking tours for you, like 1 week a month for $4000 a day, at colleges or firms. Go for it, if you can say what you want. It will also help the channel.
For me is your honesty the most valuable aspect of your videos. You test EV's and give us your opinion. As long as those are your honest opinions this is the strongest value of your reviews and tests. It is so easy to manipulate the viewers. As example I just watched an EV review from experienced UA-camr when he was surprised that on a range test the car stopped just after battery has shown below 10% SOC. I thought "He?" Is he manipulating me? Didn't he know that cars with this type of battery can suddenly stop? Therefore honesty is the most valuable for me.
Consultancy is a good route although it can get complicated if they share info with you that is off the record.
We've also seen with Munro and Associates that they can't talk about some manufacturers after they sign deals with them, which obviously would suck.
In the ideal world, you do a few videos like this a year where you keep bringing up the Patreon and StreamLabs topics to remind fans of the most efficient way to support with monthly or one-off payments.
I started watching this channel before I got an EV, I basically know and get excited to see Kempower stations because of you. Faithfully downloaded ABPR without question because of this channel aswell. But I do think sponsors and paid content is widely accepted now so you shouldn't explain yourself to us that you are taking these jobs. Disclosing that it's paid content by saying it's an ad or putting #ad in the tile and description should be enough. You worked and grinded a lot to get here and you should get the quintessential "bag" whenever you can. Personally I'd be happy to see you get it :)
I was in the same situation as you. Im building computers and beside that I started testing computer hardware as a hobby, so people can see what hardware is good and what is bad in my UA-cam Channel, and several times companies connected me to take over my content, or to edit my content for "better" results !!! Most of the time email were so bad for their requests so I started to block them ... Anyway Independent is the only way !!! Keep it up, I'm with you from 6 or 7 years and I'm with you because of the honest reviews.
What a speech I enjoyed a lot. Thanks for being yourself you are a very good person ! Too few people react like you and it’s good to hear that kind of care for honesty, and for the environment and mankind. Merci 🙏
Nice attitude... P.S. If you have UA-cam Premium no ads are shown...
You're right.
I have UA-cam Premium and it should actually make you more money than just ad revenue. That's one of the reasons I decided to get it, to better support the creators.@@bjornnyland
It would be nice, if you made a podcast like this, for Spotify when you drive and talk🙂
Congrats on all your success and thanks for sharing a little bit of your life with us. I can't pretend to know everything about you but videos like this raise my hope for humanity and that we can come together for a shared goal and as a shared community. Cheers and happy 11th anniversary since getting your first EV! 🎉🥳
Product placement is fine so long as it’s relevant. VNC, razors, mattresses and breakfast foods (amongst others) are not relevant. Maybe you can get deals with ev accessory companies.
Your reviews of the original Ioniq was the impulse for me to get one and later upgrade to a Tesla. When we got the Ioniq our first trip was to Trondheim. So you caused me to get 2 EVs and visit Norway twice!!! 😂
Independence & Freedom is 💖 is Best. Bjorn you are doing a Great job. Car Companies should pull up their socks & make better cars! 🎉
Getting paid is not a problem as long as you can still say the things you say now and give an honest review even if it is a bad review
and that a company says that you were right and we had not seen that error or we did not lookt at it in that way
I would definitely take those offers or even contact certain EV brands since you are producing very authentic and thorough reviews which are very very valuable and actually lead to many people also buying certain EV`s. Number of follower doesn't really matter after 1-300k what matters is the quality of the content and that is very good. I hope some companies also see that and you are able to also produce for them some content. I am sure you'll find some good deals and i would really go forward to those while also keeping your true values alive :).
I really respect your morals for not taking money from manufacturers to artificially talk up their cars
If Bjorn with 300k subscribers was offered that amount, you can only imagine how the deal goes with other content creators with far more many subscribers. And from here you can extrapolate and drawn your own conclusions on their honesty and their reviews. Congrats Bjorn, we love your integrity!
For TV ads that are really successful/popular, companies pr will pay actors 100,000 dollars or more.
For many actors, it sustains them between jobs.
Actually this was true 20-30 years ago, but no doubt there is still a lot of money in advertising.
Kjære unge venn. Som senior innen kunst kan jeg tilby dette:
Never give it away. Your time has value.
Much love from a Swiss Grandma. 😮
Independence is great. But you also have to pay the bills. Don’t sell out but make it clear that you will be you and get a final say in the final cut. They also pay for your authority!
Your sponsors are not just buying 5 secs of advertising. They are buying your stamp of approval and just being associated to you provides trustworthiness. It's good PR.
BN is the only channel that’s independent and has this high level of testing EV‘s.
Your knowledge has a quite high market level.
And you’re the one serious channel I can fully trust because you didn’t let you buy in the past.
That can be also seen as a good mainstay for the channel. Because overall most of the YT take care more about how much goes into their pockets regardless of what is really good or bad.
Not to forget the BN spreadsheets.
You simply will find uninfluenced competent and unfiltered content from your channels.
One day for sure this policy will pay out more as it does maybe now. Independency has a price but if a community can back this up rather than to do something what you don’t really want to loose it’s amazing.
This also shows that many many people see your competence and support you.
You can be really proud of yourself.
Ofc for the future don’t sell this extreme high competence too low because your market level keeps gaining more and more.
Love this video, candid and honest as always. And as usual am always guaranteed a chuckle😆. I’m from Lørenskog and you Are The reason how we got our Model s Back in 2016. Constantly watching your videos my wife eventually gave up and agreed to the big hit on the wallet.Big supporter of yours. As are all your subscribers. Wish you all the best. There’s money headaches in life and this also will pass. Carry on with what your doing and all will be right in the world….PS if you need a hand in moving I’m available…
Even if you don’t put in the time preparing a speech you deserve to get paid an appearance fee. If you sit in on a panel discussion at an event where people are paying to sit in the audience the organizers are going to use your appearance to advertise the event. You deserve a cut of that above and beyond the expense reimbursement. It could be an additional revenue stream to seek out some of those.
You are the OG ev car reviewer. I still remember watching your very early videos of the red model S. I broke my foot and was stuck on the couch and for some reason started researching Tesla cars on YT and realized (after watching your videos) that they had done it..made a fossil replacement. Now i own a Tesla. Keep it real brother!
Hmm I think Bjorn is 100% pure -just keep doing you -I come to you for no BS opinion. The lord of the EV truth !
Imagine two brands. In your opinion exactly equally good. One is paying you 1 000 000 usd, another is bit slow in giving you press cars.
As long as you are honest to your audience and you tell us that in your opinion both brands/cars are equal. Than it is fine. But it takes guts to stay 100% independent. Good luck!!!
Bjørn, Maybe the new Daimler Sprinter Van would be perfect for you to review and move house. It has longer range than most electric vans, including the existing e-Sprinter. IIRC it had about 300 km range. It is available as a basic work van, but also has lots of luxury options available for private owners to spec if they wish.
Best wishes for your house situation. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. 😀
Very interesting chat I watched whole thing. Keep up the tests mate I look forward to seeing them.
Bjørn please retest NIO. They have massively improved the charging speedy
Even though you have praised a vehicle in the past. Once you start taking money for doing sponsored content about these vehicles, then you are incentiviced to speak well about all vehicles, because that will give you more work opportunities. So it definitely impacts your credibility to do paid content, even if you still say your true option.
Love your content. Keep up the good work, and congrats with the future family member.
According to recent data Ireland has the highest electricity prices in Europe 80% above average so we are not treated very well driving our EV here 😢
Your TY channel's brand is honesty. That is why we subscribed. Honesty is priceless. You are priceless my dude.
Probably worth considering that a lot of people probably watch your channel because of you, not because of EV information. I have a mild, passing interest in EV content, but yours is the only channel I watch simply because you are entertaining. If that part of 'you' is edited out, I would not watch. Sheeeiiiiiiit.
I've been following you on UA-cam since the early days and have learned a lot about EVs. If the incorporation of advertising is carefully chosen, it doesn't damage credibility and if an ad can be skipped at any time with a click, I don't think advertising is annoying either. However, it is not easy to find a suitable sponsor. I assume that Norway has a tourist association. Promotion of Norway and its tourism would be an opportunity that would fit into your EV reviews without deviating from the principles.
NO Dont do it , Robert Llewellyn of Fully Charged said people keep telling him to have the show on TV , Robert has spent most of his life working in TV and he said he wouldn't go on TV because they tell you what to say . Stay independent Björn.
Fully Charged is sponsored by Myenergi and I'm sure the shows they put on are also sponsored by a lot of brands. Sponsorship does not imply corruption. TV is a completely different issue, and it wouldn't be Ford telling him what to say, it would be the BBC.
@@jonevansauthor And we know what the BBC think of EVs , They have made many hit job programs on them . My local BBC news said that a slight bump in a car park can write off an EV as the battery will be damaged.
@@rodden1953 yes, but they have to do click bait headlines otherwise they won't earn enough advertising revenue! Errr.
Yeah, it's always weird why the BBC isn't just scrupulously honest seeing as they've zero incentive not to be. Anyone would think they've a dodgy internal culture that cancels Doctor Who and covers up Saville's activities.

I wish you the best in future. I thank you so very much about all your work. I remember the Ioniq Classig videos, it was so nice :) You are the reason i drive a eCar!
It’s all about reputation. Being independent is an incredible value. If the hypothetical competent EV manufacturer messes up in the future, as an independent you will always be able to point out the flaws. As a former consultant (not sure if that’s the contract one would be offered in similar circumstances), you would at best feel conflicted. And even if you DO manage to keep impartial, some viewers may consider what you say through the lens of someone who took money from the company in the past. Granted, companies can be much subtler than that, what you said about Taycan is the perfect example. Reviewers who play ball get more access.
Takk! It is also nice with a son. I hope you get that. 🤔😁
Takk skal du ha :)
1. You can have a "showcase" of a product that is not a test or review where you can speak more positively about it with the provided talking points and your own opinion. As long as it is mentioned to the viewers that this is a sponsored showcase and you are not providing any false information then it is okay.
2. Midroll ads are annoying if they are 2 minutes long but if they are short and funny, then why not.
