I never wanted a remix that completely changed everything, just having basically the same song but with actual instruments was all I ever wanted. Best song in the game.

Honestly not a big fan of this version of the song. It just feels like the whole sound font for the game just blends all the music together. All the new tracks sound great and I like them but when they remake the music from older games it just feels like it's blending in with all the other tracks. That shouldn't be bad but at the same time I just feel like it lost the charm from the wiiara which actually made the music sound different from each other. I don't know I like how the music was recorded through real instruments but man it just feels like rainbow road music from the Wii era has been erased from 8.

Wii rainbow road is officially my favorite track in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
It's perfect in every way. It's really tough for me to choose if I like the original or this new remix, but both are peak.
It's amazing how they managed to make the drums sound near identical with the added on quality
