@@highlightcenter5651 You could say that about just any team in the NFL. Of course for some teams it would be the most heartbreaking seasons. And being a Packer fan since the early 60s believe me. @@sambirch5153 It's not that bad. It IS a penalty, and Moss justifiably got flagged for it, but announcer Joe Buck wildly overreacted. Also, the context for that is that Packers fans were mooning the Vikings players when they arrived at Lambeau -- for real, too, not pantomimed like what Moss did. His toned-down celebration was a way of paying them back.

The 2014 NFC Championship game collapse has to be the biggest packers collapse ever. Not only were the Packers winning 19 to 7 with 5min left but Aaron Rodger’s was MVP and we had the number 1 offense but The special teams and defense collapsed and gave us a L instead of maybe Winning our 2 Super Bowl in the Roggers Era
As a Lions fan, Packer hater, it was the greatest, most satisfying that game I experienced of the previous two decades. I bought that game on iTunes and sometimes like to rewatch it when I’m looking for a reason to smile.
Russell Wilson’s interception tendencies in thisgame were exactly the reason why the ball should have been taken out of his hands at the one-yard line in the next game.
The craziest stat of this game is that Jermaine Kearse was targeted a total of 6 times, accounting for all 4 of Seattle's INTs and the game winning TD. He had 3 targets in the first half, all ended in interceptions. He had 2 targets in the 2nd half, one interception, one incompletion. And he had one target in overtime, the game winning Touchdown.
The defense collapsed due to exhaustion. The play calling went ultra conservative in the second half, causing the defense to be on the field far longer than they needed to be.

Great Video Tom! As a Broncos fan love being on the list ;) My Grand Pa had just gotten me into Football, very interesting to see we became fans of the sport around the same time! Cheers
Oh gosh, this takes me back. I remember being a little kids watching some of my first football games with my grandpa, and seeing these guys in yellow and green jump into the stands after a touchdown and was hooked. This was probably a few years before Farve won his SB. I remember so many of theses games and how they affected my view of which teams were the heroes and villans of the sport (Pat's, Cowboys, 49ers). Thanks for making this.
I loved this video! Huge props to you for making this video Tom. Also… side note… am I the only one that would love to see a collab between you & Perna talking about the history of Super Bowl XXXII?
I was in the Air Force stationed in Germany for Super Bowl 32 as I watched my Broncos and Elway win their first. After THREE Elway ass whoopings in the big game we finally got it done. I got a noise complaint in base housing at 4:00 in the morning (time difference) from my jubilation and wore my No 7 jersey under my BDUs the next day. Sorry it was at the Packers expense, Tom, but it’s my best football memory of all time! Keep up the awesome show, Bro!
The Helicopter by Elway was such a great play by him because it inspired his teammates to give everything they had. When I saw it live on tv, I knew Broncos were going to win.
I was at the 2021 divisional round game against the Niners. Much like Tree said in his phone call to you after the game, that finish left me with a feeling of "WTF did I just see?"
It’s interesting. As a Broncos and giants fan I’m overly happy the Broncos and giants got those wins but there were also lots of times I was cheering for the packers to win in 2014, 2020, 2021
As a bucs fan so many heartbreak games at the hands of Donovan mcnabb, top 3 favorite sports memories is the interception to win the game in the NFC championship against the eagles to send them home as loosers in the last game in their own stadium
He mixed two different playoff games together…the missed face mask against the cardinals happened in 2009 against Kurt Warner…the two Jeff Janis’s Hail Marys happens in 2015 against Carson Palmer
Thanks for this, even though heavy, overview and sharing your memories with it. Especially the last thing you made so believable that I felt for you. I really liked this one!
Great video Tom! Curious how you would rank last year’s NFC divisional game against the Niners. I know that it’s probably not as big of a sting because the Love era is so new but I was surprised there wasn’t even a passing mention
You amaze brother Tom and I consider this one of your absolute best videos because it’s nice to see you say which games were the most heartbreaking for you. Incredible
I wouldn't even say that the Seahawks NFC Championship loss was that heartbreaking - we were supposed to be blown out, and with our defense being poor we really didn't have any business being in that game. It's only heartbreaking because the Seahawks did everything to hand us that game, and we were ahead so our hopes were up. It was our game to lose. Edit: A few things that also cost us that game - Ha Ha dropping a Pick 6, I believe we only scored 6 points off of turnovers, a penalty that took us out of field goal range. McCarthy takes field goals on 4th and 1, etc. Then there's Burnett's slide, and the onside kick botch. Bostick was the scapegoat but it was a team loss.
15:04 He's basically right, the Packers have suffered the most home playoff losses in the NFL since then (I don't know if that has been updated but nonetheless it's a lot and as a Bears fan it's funny)
Grossi be glad you are a younger Packer fan. Those that grew up in the 80's hated their team. They were the DOORMAT of the NFC Central even the Tampa Bay Bucs won more than they did.
I was age 8, 9 and 11 for the Broncos' superbowl losses in the late 80's. Watching Elway dive for that 1st down still gives me the goosebumps all these years later. Best day of my life. Fun video.
There was an editorial cartoon in the papers the next day showing the devil up to his backside in snow with an icecicle hanging from his nose. The caption was maybe the Broncos finally won a Super Bowl.
Glad to see that you've matured, and blowing a 4th quarter lead in the playoffs to the firickin' frackin' 49ers no longer upsets you, as the loss that ended last season didn't even get a mention. Glad your well deserved success has mellowed you.
OG Seahawks fan here! Love your show, you do some of the best NFL coverage out there! So glad my Hawks could be the thing that led to you doing such great work! GO HAWKS!!
6:17 I remember that loss to the 49ers. It was extremely cold pretty much everywhere (it was 19°F where I lived on that day), and after the game, I sprained my ankle for the first time in my life and my parents had to take me to the ER to make sure it wasn't a break.
The 20-23 49ers playoff game was my first Packers game in person. My left leg went numb midway up my calf, despite being bundled up. It was one of my most memorable Packers games as well as cold exposure experiences.
As a Bears fan, our last 3 devastating losses were Double Doink, this past Sunday's HAIL MARYland, and that week 1 loss in GB in 2018 when we first acquired Khalil Mack and had a 20-0 lead.
22:12 I started watching Football in 2019 and this game is what will haunt me forever, i like Tampa Bay rn but god SO MANY MISSED OPPORTUNITIES AND TO BRADY OF ALL PEOPLE 😭😭😭😭😭
Great video Tom. You should consider doing this for other teams as well. If you want to do the Chargers, I would be more than happy to supply you with a top 10 pain moments in playoff history
I was at the divisional round game in 2022 and i remember seeing so many people still sitting in their seats and thinking that might have been Rodgers last game. And the NFC championship game is probably the only time i legitimately cried after a game. It was only a month after my grandpa passed away and he was the reason i became a Packers fan and i was just absolutely devastated after that game
I was wondering when we'd see 4th and 26! Freddie Mitchell's one moment of greatness. Some other Eagles connections here: Al Harris was a former Eagle so I greatly enjoyed his walkoff pick six the week before. Also from the previous entry, The Catch 2, that Packers loss allowed the Eagles, then the worst team in the league, to interview and hire Andy Reid as their new head coach. This worked out great for all involved. Thanks Packers!
I was 11 back when the 2014 Seattle game happened. Remember being the only one watching it in my room with my Packers blanket. The thing I remember the most from it is crying and calling my dad at work. The only game I have cried to it was tragic

I think for me the 2022 Lions game to end the regular season was a top 10 most heartbreaking Packers game since I’ve been a fan
Ngl that Bucs game was the reason I discovered your channel. Been subscribed ever since
Fun fact, 40% of this video is the NFC west (46% if you include the honorable mentions)
I see you finally noticed me. We're roughly tied in the Pick 'em league to. I'm very honored to hear that I was the inspiration for starting The Packcast. You've given me a lot of laughs over the years and help lighten some dark days, so thank you.
Remember, Remember then 15th of December, Tom
The funny thing is, the Niners have a few with the Packers, for those of us that are a little older.
Great Video Tom! As a Broncos fan love being on the list ;) My Grand Pa had just gotten me into Football, very interesting to see we became fans of the sport around the same time! Cheers
The perfect scary Halloween video
Oh gosh, this takes me back. I remember being a little kids watching some of my first football games with my grandpa, and seeing these guys in yellow and green jump into the stands after a touchdown and was hooked. This was probably a few years before Farve won his SB. I remember so many of theses games and how they affected my view of which teams were the heroes and villans of the sport (Pat's, Cowboys, 49ers). Thanks for making this.
As a giants fan i think this is a great video, now i have to go back to reality with some kid's science fair project as our qb
Hope cam wards good lol
This is a great NFC West Highlights video!
as a seahawks fan, ive been waiting for this one
I loved this video! Huge props to you for making this video Tom. Also… side note… am I the only one that would love to see a collab between you & Perna talking about the history of Super Bowl XXXII?
I can only imagine the pain you went through to make this 😭
I was in the Air Force stationed in Germany for Super Bowl 32 as I watched my Broncos and Elway win their first.
As a Seahawks fan, this is gonna be good😆
That 2020 bucs game hurt me so much.
Packers and Broncos Superbowl was truly one for the ages
The Helicopter by Elway was such a great play by him because it inspired his teammates to give everything they had. When I saw it live on tv, I knew Broncos were going to win.
Denver cheated the salary cap to build a better roster in that season and the ones before and after
I was at the 2021 divisional round game against the Niners. Much like Tree said in his phone call to you after the game, that finish left me with a feeling of "WTF did I just see?"
Wait, the Fail Mary is an honorable mention? Jeez how painful are these gonna get?
It’s interesting. As a Broncos and giants fan I’m overly happy the Broncos and giants got those wins but there were also lots of times I was cheering for the packers to win in 2014, 2020, 2021
I wanna make fun of this pain but my Bills swept the NFC during their Super Bowl runs and got swept by the NFC in the Super Bowl so I'mma shut up
If the Eagles beat the Bills in the Super Bowl, the Bills go down as the first (and maybe only) team to lose to an entire division in the Super Bowl
Why would you, idk it might just be me but i see the Bills as the Afc Packers which idk if thats a good thing 💀
As a bucs fan so many heartbreak games at the hands of Donovan mcnabb, top 3 favorite sports memories is the interception to win the game in the NFC championship against the eagles to send them home as loosers in the last game in their own stadium
POV it’s 2014 your a Bronco fan excited for super 48
And then watch your team lose 43-8
He mixed two different playoff games together…the missed face mask against the cardinals happened in 2009 against Kurt Warner…the two Jeff Janis’s Hail Marys happens in 2015 against Carson Palmer
Tom's in his watch mojo era
Thanks for this, even though heavy, overview and sharing your memories with it. Especially the last thing you made so believable that I felt for you. I really liked this one!
Thanks for making this after a hard Bears loss last week 😉 Needed to know our rivals had some too.
Keep making more videos like this we like to hear your experiences as a packers fan
15:04 He's basically right, the Packers have suffered the most home playoff losses in the NFL since then (I don't know if that has been updated but nonetheless it's a lot and as a Bears fan it's funny)
Love it!
Hope you are doing Top 10 best Packers Game next 😄
Awesome video, but watching the 2016 NFC Championship against the Atlanta Falcons was also rough too
As a Bucs fan we barely have any heart breaking playoff losses because we been awful for most of our franchise’s history lol
Channeling Brandon Perna energy, great video!
Thanks for posting something for us Vikings fans
Glad to see that you've matured, and blowing a 4th quarter lead in the playoffs to the firickin' frackin' 49ers no longer upsets you, as the loss that ended last season didn't even get a mention. Glad your well deserved success has mellowed you.
Great job Grossi, I love watching 49er highlights. But then again we have our fair share of heartbreakers..
OG Seahawks fan here! Love your show, you do some of the best NFL coverage out there! So glad my Hawks could be the thing that led to you doing such great work! GO HAWKS!!
First thing out of the gate: Fail Mary. My Hawks heart is pleased.
6:17 I remember that loss to the 49ers. It was extremely cold pretty much everywhere (it was 19°F where I lived on that day), and after the game, I sprained my ankle for the first time in my life and my parents had to take me to the ER to make sure it wasn't a break.
I'd love more of this type of content Tom. Painful but fun to watch!
AS A VIKINGS FAN THESE VIDEO MAKES ME HAPPY (THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY GIFT)
The 20-23 49ers playoff game was my first Packers game in person. My left leg went numb midway up my calf, despite being bundled up. It was one of my most memorable Packers games as well as cold exposure experiences.
As a Bears fan, our last 3 devastating losses were Double Doink, this past Sunday's HAIL MARYland, and that week 1 loss in GB in 2018 when we first acquired Khalil Mack and had a 20-0 lead.
22:12 I started watching Football in 2019 and this game is what will haunt me forever, i like Tampa Bay rn but god SO MANY MISSED OPPORTUNITIES AND TO BRADY OF ALL PEOPLE 😭😭😭😭😭
Favre tossing picks. It's a tale as old as time.
That 2014 Championship game I genuinely cried that was a very tough loss.
Great video Tom. You should consider doing this for other teams as well. If you want to do the Chargers, I would be more than happy to supply you with a top 10 pain moments in playoff history
As a Seahawks fan I love this video
This going to be wild and good tom💥🔥
Number 1 is one of my favorite games of all time as a Seahawks fan.
This could be an interesting series for every team 🤔
I was at the divisional round game in 2022 and i remember seeing so many people still sitting in their seats and thinking that might have been Rodgers last game. And the NFC championship game is probably the only time i legitimately cried after a game. It was only a month after my grandpa passed away and he was the reason i became a Packers fan and i was just absolutely devastated after that game
As a 49ers fan, this was a great video! 😁
NFC Championships and the 49ers are the Packers’ biggest nightmares. 2019 had to combine both.
