@@CPURianaElmori8879 if you remember he also had his memories and such uploaded to cyberspace, hence why things looked like previous areas he visited, or why big had a fishing spot, she could have found those.
Plus that is kind of backed up by the fact that Eggman's memos mention that cyberspace contains data from his network and the federation which intrigued him
If you think about it, sage could've also seen it when she split his cyber corruption to his friends.🤔

Sonic's main thing is that he's supposed to be a free spirit kind of guy. His philosophy has always been about living life to the fullest.

Boredom does make sense for those with enhanced speed.
Their perception of time tends to be slower in other medias, so it isn't impossible that Sonic has that as well.
To us, it is simply 5 minutes. But to Sonic, those 5 minutes could feel like hours and potentially days, and that is a curse.
Sonic keeps moving because if he stops, the world around begins to as well. His enhanced speed is a gift and a curse in that regard.
Sonic is an ADHD king. This is really pretty. I love the way you did the light filtering through the trees on them.

In a way, I kinda get the message of the last comic panel. Despite the dark visuals, it tells a true fact about Sonic and well life as a whole. Sometimes boredom drives us to keep us distracted. It can be seen as motivation at most.

You know there is one funny thing additionally that I wonder about.
Like what if part of why Sonic keeps diving head long into everything, no matter how deadly or dangerous it happens to be is... the fact the man is immortal. We know the Chaos emeralds had some major effects on his body, sometimes appearing as attacks or new skills. [the insta shield being an example] He does what he wants, and acts as he does because he enjoys the sensation, and feeling of Living. The man became a thrill seeker because Danger, adrenaline, all of that makes him FEEL alive. This is also why he doesn't accept any romantic advances, because they will just perish eventually with nothing he can do. [With a fun plot twist being that Everyone who used the Chaos emeralds.. including Eggman, were gifted eternity but Sonic, is the only one who has Actually figured it out.]

The motivations for Sonic changes between the mediums presented but as for the games, this is his driving force and focus and why I can never see his last hoorah being Sonic settling down and learning to live a normal life. Sonic has long since stopped fighting Eggman and others to protect and does so more or less as a source of entertainment. He's even outwardly admitted he practically bullies Eggman on the daily because to him, that's his job.
He seeks thrills, excitement, adventure and fun. Helping people along the way is a bonus, but not his focus. He's an adrenaline junkie who near-dear experiences, world ending threats and constant battles to maintain himself. Yes he loves his friends, find new places to relax and providing help where he can. But if he stays still for too long, it will frustrate him more than anything else. And really, what else would you expect from someone who can cross half the planet in a few short minutes of his own power? Staying still, might as well be akin to dying for Sonic.
Something i saw in another fan made comic was the reasoning behind Sonic and eggman never finishing each other off its for the same reason sonic says here boredom it's why sonic doesn't kill eggman because then his life would be boring without the constant thrill of the fight its honestly kinda ironic the way that both sonic and eggman constantly persevere is because without the other things would be boring eggman would rule the world unopposed and sonic would have a peaceful world without anything exciting going on they enjoy the push eachother provides and i suppose in a way thats a good thing given status quo is always restored by the end of things

1:24 I have a feeling this scene wasn’t suppose to be uplifting or hopeful. I think it what the comic is trying to say is that Sonic does things simply for the thrill and not for the right or wrong of the situation, mix that in with the fact that his face is looks pretty disturbing when saying that.

Sonic dose what he dose because that’s what he thinks is right and also he enjoys the adventure his philosophy is simple everyone should be free to go down the path they choose. that’s why he gives his enemies second chances and never outright kills them because he thinks it’s the right thing to do.
He thinks they should be free to do what they wish but what they do he thinks is wrong so he stops them he also thinks they should get the chance to change their ways. In the case of Eggman he doesn’t even see him as an enemy he sees him as entertainment or an annoyance. It’s only when his friends lives are at stake when he gets serious.
But that’s just what I’ve seen.
The part of the break of only minutes is in part true but at same wrong, Sonic it's only pure energy in idw in metal virus was needed more than minutes but he couldn't stop for the infection
