    Made this recipe and gave it to my mother, she said it was the best yum yum sauce she's ever had. It was a little watery because I got the measurements a tiny bit wrong, but was delicious

    Sorry but that's not Yum Yum sauce. Yum yum sauce or commonly known as Pink Sauce and is made with Vinegar. Could have used a FORK to stir with.

    My mother loves yum yum sauce I’m going to make this for her and hopefully she likes it I’m sure she will by the way nice recipe she’d probably like it without the hot sauce or not that much but we will see do taste testing and see.

      You can use miracle whip but don't add as much sugar. Miracle whip is already sweet

    Any reason not to just buy Yum Yum sauce from the grocery store? I'm actually being serious - is this better than what you can buy in a bottle because I'm all for it if it's much better otherwise, the bottle from the store is very easy. 🙂

I didn't have any hot sauce and portion amounts weren't exact, but it did taste great! How long does yum yum sauce keep in the fridge if stored in an airtight container?

    His recipe is kinda weak. He is missing ingredients. Garlic powder & melted butter are a must. I sometimes use Sriracha sauce but to each his own.

    For anyone making this sauce - use only 1 tablespoon sugar and see how it tastes at the end. I added all three tablespoons and the sauce tastes like syrup with a hint of mayo. Not sure why it turned out so sickeningly sweet, but I'll be making it different next time.

      You must have missed a ratio somewhere, that sauce is not that sweet, but everyone has different taste

    Dude, measure your ingredients. Your inaccuracies are going to piss someone off when they make this and it’s too sweet. You probably used closed to 2 tablespoons of sugar. Measuring is everything.
