I wonder with the ultem if you could lazer etch on the back side of the scale so you could read it when assembled? Have your name etched for a bit of customization. That etch would need to be in black of course for best results. Especially on this knife because it doesn't have full length liners.

My mini Nightshade with g10 scales has soft springs too. I love the knife but wish they were a little stronger.
The spare set that comes with the knife are stronger. Makes a huge difference

Must be good not very often you hear Lefty speak that much good about a knife.
For $99 you get it with S35VN, better steel if you don't need another flashlight.

In all fairness pretty much every knife should be able to slice hard and thick “paper” like that
I'm in the no on ultem camp. I'd like the knife with different scales, but I know that lots love this material. To each their own.
site blurb said the light's a $40 value so the knife is $54. that's a win for $50. not an ultem fan, but I am a fan of how you can see the action.
Pretty cool but I'm not a fan of a lock that depends on omega springs or similar.
