I am torn between this and the Bestechman Ronan first. Both look like amazing blade geometry and it's the same steel and crossbar lock.
I like how you add the edge killer rope to the test. Hyped to see what other knives can surpass it.

Cool lookin knife Dood! Would love to see a secondary safety to prevent pressing the button while using it but it doesn’t seem like a huge issue.

The Raccoon has some nice aesthetics in blade shape and design. Something I’ve been wondering for quite a while now, do you put any type of compound on your strop, or are you able to bring the edge back with just the leather? I can’t tell if that’s build up or diamond emulsion on your strop.

good slicer but maybe not for hard use becasue of the button
I own this one and the top lock Hedgehog and both lock up super solid. Doesn't feel like a typical button lock
If you trust spydercos compression lock then you can more than likely trust this. It’s not a plunge lock
I think their issue isn't with the strength of the lock up. I think it jas more to do with the buttons being in a spot thats easier to accidentally press in certain grips. Anyway i too loke the knife but have yet to get one myself.
