I found your video very helpful and also took note of the toys you buy and use to help with development. I'm always out buying her toys that help with development and I often watch your newer videos for ideas.
Watching this in bed recovering from the flu. My husband had it first and then myself and 3 out of my 4 kids were hit with it. Been an awful week!!! Can’t wait to feel better!!
I would highly suggest the book simplicity parenting! ❤ I recently applied the power of less to our home and it is magical 💫😀 we live in a very small apartment without garden/playroom etc in Munich and we have to be „minimalish“ … our kids are much more calmer with less toys/clothes etc and it only takes us 5‘ to tidy up when or before they go to bed!
If they have a cough thats not going away, it may be allergies. Theres a lot of stuff that pollinates this time of year that no one thinks about. Mostly trees. Our little beans cough did not go away until we saw his allergist. We'd gone through 3 rounds of different antibiotics with his pediatrician by then. Every winter it starts again and we start his allergy/asthma maintenance meds again and it clears right up.

Be careful what you store by the water heater (pressure relief valve + bottom) these things do not last nearly as long. If the tempature board fails, you could have water in that storage closet. ❤
We just got over the flu and my daughter still has a cough 😷 but we getting better better little by little this season isn’t good but I hope the kids feel better 😊
You seem so overwhelmed with life. Maybe donate a lot of toys/books etc then practice freeze buying. Nowadays there's so much consumerism when in actuality living minimal is glorious. Happy New Year. May God guide you.

I wonder if the kids actually play with all these toys? IF they do, I personally wouldn't mind a lot of toys but it seems like kids dont really use all the toys when they have too much which then makes it pointless to keep it ..
I read somewhere once that children thrive from having up to 7 toys! More than that is overwhelming and makes it hard for them to stay interested in one thing. Meanwhile I’m over here surrounded by toys and have no idea where to start 😂😂😂
@@nimsavia6620 yea we got rid of anything they don’t play with (other than stuff I’m saving for Sean and baby girl) but they play with their toys a ton!
I love your channel and your family. I have a question because I'm not American so culturally it doesn't make sense to me. It seems like there's a lot of getting tons of stuff and then being stressed out by the clutter of the stuff, and like it's a cycle, right? My parents gave me one gift for Christmas each year so these vlogs are so interesting to me. I cannot imagine that many toys for my kid. It's not shade, just so different to me.
@@lizthebroken definitely a more American thing! But it also varies culturally even within America! I grew up getting lots of toys and so did Joe but we’re constantly having to reevaluate!
Same here, I’m not American & see the amount of stuff and feel like I can’t breathe haha. Our children literally only have Lego, magnet tiles & a few cars. I could have a mental breakdown if my kids had so much stuff 🥲😮💨
I donated a huge amount before Christmas. I have 3 girls but I don’t let them open up all their toys. We get a bunch because we have big families. I save the unopened toys and let them open them slowly throughout the whole year

I think she has explained before , that because she is homeschooling and spending more time at home , they have more toys to keep all the kids entertained .
I agree with the comments. You loaded your kids with tons of toys. It seems like ur kids spend most of time playing, do very minimal school work. Just my take on it.
In the religious point of view . It is a very bad habit to get your kids use to receiving that many toys for Christmas. Not saying they shouldn’t get any but they don’t need the overload.
I think they do have a zoo membership? It seems like this past year they did a lot of trips and activities outside of home. Are you a parent? As a parent myself, being able to drink your coffee and having a moment to collect yourself or get something done while they play is a must.

I do have to admit that I haven't stopped by ur channel in quite some time ..... Basically when u only had two kids 😬😬😬.... Nothing personal I just haven't had time to watch videos like I used to . Let's be real my four yr old daughter ( Ava) has taken over every tablet phone or TV in this house! 😢 I know u know what I mean lol! Btw Ditto ditto ditto in the beginning of the video when u were talking about all the toys and over all clutter around the house and how every day it's a constant repeat of picking up putting away organizing then u turn around and it's all over the place again! Smh! It's enough to go crazy sometimes! Lol At the end of the day tho I wouldn't trade it for the world cuz being a mommy is the greatest gift of all ! Anyways I digress! I just wanna tell u that ur STILL doing so well at being a mother and a wife so keep up the good work , try not to let any negativity affect you or ur family, and above all stay in good faith cuz no matter what God never gives u more than what u can handle . ❤ Stay beautiful and never change Kayla!!! Just a suggestion : you could put a small table and your homeschool cabinet in the playroom so you could homeschool there

get the kids checked for their cough! I did thankfully nothing horrible but there was some stuff we found out and some prescriptions we got 😭🙏🏻

No offense here but i think your kids are getting too much toys. Gift cards for a zoo visit, cinema or a museum could replace toys. But you do you.
