    This is how I expanded and fixed Puppy In My Pocket series in my Puppy In My Pocket fanfiction series 💖🐾💛🐾🧡🐾
    1) animal characters live in the same world as human characters
    2) all of the animal characters are small and cute (all of the animal characters are the same size as each other (all of them are 31.75 cm tall), plus all of them have large anime eyes and human like facial expressiveness, the only thing that differentiates them is their animal species, as there are both well known species and lesser known species, plus there are more than just one member of the species)
    3) all of the girl characters have the same extreme hourglass figure as each other and the exact same cup size as each (all of the girls have 35-25-35 bust-waist-hip ratio and the C cup size, the only things that differentiate them are hair colors, eye colors, skin colors, hairstyles and clothings)
    4) all of the boy characters have the same body type as each other (all of the boys have 35-25-24 bust-waist-hip ratio and lean athletic build with medium sized defined muscles, the only things that differentiate them are hair colors, eye colors, skin colors, hairstyles and clothings)
    5) all of the characters that are animalistic deities in the original versions of their stories are now just as humanoid as the other characters (the only things hinting at their animal inspiration are their hairstyles that look like attributes of animals they are based on, for example, Bastet has buns that look like cat ears and a braid that looks like a cat tail)

      I... was not aware of this series, but I'm glad to hear that you made your own fanfiction and that you went into great detail with this apparently ^^;

    Yes, the 5 elements: water, earth, fire, air and spirit-mutant! This would be a neat idea... Maybe there would be here and there some things that need balance, to make the powersystem stabil and also put the bending still in an important center of the story, but i could imagine it working. And it is very much imaginable that some people would seek out such powers to "even the playing field". In another comment i spoke about how there are many nonmbender characters that are absolute beasts, but you were right with the point that this characters are still special cases that need work, ressources and talent... Not everyone can have this and most nonbenders would not be able to become the greatest menances around the block, so i can see it that they will not only swarm around new technologies but also around the potential of such "mutations". The difference between being punishes or blessed by a spirit also sounds pretty neat and it would pretty much suit the theme of many real mythis, in which the will behind the action makes a big difference in the outcome.
    But the idea of being able to transform back is in my opinion not that cool, because of the loss of some "price" that makes the entire deal with this powers a bit less apealing for some people. (But not for me, because i want to become a symetrical dragon-bird-furry of course...Hehehe).
    If this people would reproduce i could imagine after some time a pretty interesting appearance in the population and it would kind of suit the ästhetic of the world if humans were also chimeras.
    Good explanation for the thing with the eclipse. I think seeing how the worldbuilding is pretty mythical it only makes sense for natural phenomena to be more than just what they are in our world... Of course the sun does not vanish, but the spiritual power source of fire gets compromised with the one of water. This makes somehow good sense and i could imagine it pretty much as canon.
    Never thought about the problems with the Boiling Rock to be honest... Yeah, even "Avatar" is not in every detail perfect and here they were going as it seems by the rule of cool.
    Raava and Vaatu are honestly one of my big problems in "Korra", because their relationship felt many times in a superficial way eastern and seemed to me in their handling to be much more western (technically ambrahamitic) in how they were depicted. Raava is in the beginning a bit of a jerk, but all in all she is the side that seems to be completly okay and perfect without really having a bad aspect on the side she personified... and Vaatu is just very evil and shows no good side of chaos. Yes, as an agent of change he creates some things, that can be interpreted as positive, but his motivations are still evil and i would just have liked a bit more philosophy about the nature of order and chaos, showing how they both are equaly needed aspects of creation and maybe also, that it is bad when either side dominates entirely on itself. They are treated as personifications of good and evil instead as agents of stability and change, existence and destruction, light and darkness...etc. in all of their grey aspects. I think there would be needed some big change in the depiction of the two great spirits and their relationship to make it really feel like the perfect outcome that they merge in one new avatar.
    Fun fact: There was in production plans to make Vaatu emerge in the third season out of Raava, but it was set aside to focus on Korras development and the creators also thought that it would need more time until Vaatu emerges in an future Avatar.

      Hey, still a better deal than Ma Ti from "Captain Planet". Who wants Heart as an element? XD
      Yeah this is definitely something that would need some further fine tuning for sure, but at least I wanted to propose the building blocks to a whole new setup. Cause benders have a huge advantage, and it would really suck to still be a non bender after Korra left the portals open. Whereas here we've been introduced to the idea that there COULD be something else. Cause, yeah, even if some non-benders are beasts, they're exceptions, and it would still leave normal folk very vulnerable. So, I figured that the balance could be that either you're a bender, or you can physically transform in this way and gain advantages, that way no one gets left behind, unless you're reeeeeeally dealt some bad cards. Plus it wouldn't be a loss for nonbenders to do this and revert back to their human form, cause they already WERE at a loss before, and even now they'd still have to choose the right spirit, and make sure that said spirit would consent. Otherwise there's nothing they could do. Plus let's not forget that it's still a process, and it could go terribly wrong, they could be deformed if they don't fuse properly. It's like the risk/reward of being an animagus in Harry Potter: you can literally transform into an animal of your choosing at any time you like, BUT the process to do so is veeeeeery long, annoying and complicated, plus you have no choice as to what animal it is you can turn into, AND even worse, at the time of completion, there's a risk that you could transform completely into that animal, never return human, and lose all your memories. Very high risk, very high reward. It's only the details that would be pending, but I think overall this could work, and this world could basically end up becoming the backdrop to an average Dragonball episode, lol
      Oooh good point though on the reproduction part. I guess, just like for the animals, they would probably end up having only certain parts they would inherit down the line of each new generation. Idk, that idea can definitely be explored though, but good call!
      Yeah the Eclipse definitely just needed a tiny bit of clarification, and I figured this was acceptable enough without altering anything, heh.
      Yup. The Boiling Rock is brilliant as a concept, but there would realistically be a lot of logistics that wouldn't make sense. So, it would need to be retweaked a little. And sure, it means that the plan to escape on the lake using those cofinement cells as a boat wouldn't work, BUT it didn't work in the actual episodes anyway, so it might as well be like that.
      Korra has... many issues to say the least, and the whole Raava/Vaatu thing is this world's equivalent to Midiclorians. It's not that you're not allowed to have it, it's just that you're contradicting what came before. Although their existence at all is more of an issue than their attitudes. Afterall, if they are kite versions of the Daoist symbol, that includes a dot of their opposites on each side, so I'd be fine if for example Raava is the good side but acts a little like a jerk, and Vaatu was pure evil but at least "acts" more calmly or something.
      As for the detail about Vaatu in a possible season 4... goddamn it, see, THAT was actually needed! And this is why studios shouldn't meddle with the creative process, and should have left more room to breathe, or allowed the creators to plan out all these seasons properly from the start...

    I believe that bird example could either be parakeet cockatiels, or another species of parrot mixed with a cockatiel. the face is cockatiel-esque due to the red spots at the ears (yes, those red spots mark where the ears are on cockatiels).
    another thing is that cockatiels in our world are either gray or white and usually have either a yellow or white head. parakeets can come with a green body and a yellow-green head, but their cheeks only sport a few black feathers.

      Oh well I can’t say I know enough about crossbreeding to have noticed that detail, but fair enough, thanks for clarifying! Although I would still imagine that the differences in cockatiels, or even just parrots in general, are far less complicated than the differences between two completely different kinds of species, like turtles and ducks, to say the least 😂 hence why I wanted to attempt to clarify this

    Great video we need more but I disagree with you about the fusion I think it's better if the darkness returns in time in a new dark avatar born creating a cycle of light and dark avatars and transforming the avatar series into post apocalypse Furrys avatar The fight in Between the tribes the bears humans and the wolf humans versus regular humans and continue great work

    • @worldbuildingfilms507
      @worldbuildingfilms507  2 місяці тому +3

      Easy there, cowboy, I don't know if a post-apocalypse furry war is exactly what I had in mind XD
      The idea of darkness returning in time can be fine, BUT it would mean 10,000 years of light. And if it would be bad if Raava disappeared, it would be just as bad if Vaatu did as well. So, since so far both existed but the world was fine enough, I think that either disappearing would be bad, so Vaatu shouldn't have been actually destroyed. Plus we might not actually have 10,000 years of further human history, at the speed in which technology is speeding up in this world (which... well, stay tuned for next time ;) )
      With that said, thank you! Glad you're enjoying it so far!

      I admittedly only saw the first one and it was waaaay to long ago so I don’t remember that at all 😂
      Although in fairness they’re just the regular animals of their world, with a prehistoric flavour. It’s like the Flintstones, but they don’t call the animals as mixed from others. Here there IS an implication that the original animals were a thing
