I don't know if they allow baggage or not. If you need to collect baggage, does that mean you have to check in your baggage again in Terminal 5? If that's the case, you have to use the tram because you have to go to the check-in counter. Are you on a connecting flight with a partner airline? I'm asking because I was also on a connecting flight, but I don't need to collect my baggage in O'Hare International Airport. I only need to collect my baggage at my final destination airport.
Hindi ko alam. Pa check nalang sa website ng Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Yong sa akin kasi is, I fly domestic then when I landed in ORD nag transfer ako from Terminal 2 to Terminal 5 for my International flight. In my case, they didn't ask for a transit visa.
Yes. I have 4 hours of layover, and I have plenty of time in Terminal 5. If you already have your boarding pass for your flight in Terminal 5, then use the bus to transfer you from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5 it's faster and you don't have to go through security again. I can only speak of going to Terminal 5 using the bus, but if you're going to use the tram or train you'll have to go through security again and I don't know how long will it take. I hope this helps.
Madami naligaw sa mga transfer na gaya nito. At isa nako hahahah Sa tren naman ako sumabay sa mga nag transfer. Galing ako Virginia papuntang San Diego Airport. Naku! Dina ko naka balik sa Virginia 10yrs.😢
I need to go from terminal 3 to terminal 5. This is very helpful. Couple of years ago I had to exit & enter and had to go through security check again.
do you think 1.5 hrs layover is enough time to get from termina 2 to terminal 5? also how long did it take you overall to walk from terminal 2 to terminal 1 and then bus to terminal 5? I'm trying to book my ticket but not sure if I have enough time as it is a connection flight.
I think so if everything goes well. Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 walk only takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Just follow the signs and ask airport personnel when you see one to make sure you're in the right direction. Bus to Terminal 5 from Terminal 1 is about 15 to 20 minutes, but that bus I got in there's only 2 passengers and didn't pick up any other passengers, so it went fast. They will require you to present to them your boarding pass for your next flight and your passport. If you don't have a boarding pass yet for your next flight in Terminal 5 you can't board the bus so you will have to use the train or tram.
