Hello from an Australian living and working in Armenia. Khachaturian was my first introduction to Armenian culture many years ago when I played in an orchestra in Melbourne. I never imagined I would be living in Armenia one day. The music here is so unique. Thank you Khachaturian for sharing Armenia with the world.
Outstanding performance by Sofia Philharmonic. Special hurray to the conductor and those three flutists. Aram Khachaturian is smiling in his grave. Thank you soooooo very much!!!
Hi, there. I'm a fan of this music. Do yoy know if this performance is the ENTIRE (the complete) piece of Kachaturian's Gayane? Or is it just an extract? :/
@@gamerdaddy There are several revisions of Gayane, and I think the 1957 one is one of the best as well as its recording with maestro Djansug Kakhidze and the USSR Radio and TV Large Symphony Orchestra: ua-cam.com/video/_JlGS1m1PL4/v-deo.html
Divino. Se lleva en el alma. Es una de las obras maestras más profundas y amables de la música humana. Está dirigido por una MAESTRA excepcional y con una orquesta exquisita.
It's not just Armenian. One can hear the folkloric elements because Aram tried deliberately to root his music in his cultural tradition, but the overall result rises way above these elements. It's grand classical music for the ages, it belongs to the whole of humanity...I absolutely adore Aram's music...such harmony, such depth, such soul! 🩷🩷
That final piece is insane. It feels like a carnival ride that's gone completely out of control, and everybody on the ride is loving it, even though the whole thing could fall apart at any moment. The phrase "with reckless abandon" seems to be made for this finale.
Absolutely amazed with you Maestrina Beatrice in Portugal with your motivacional speech. Absolutely amazed with you conducting. I’m your fan. Thank you for your art…
Wonderful expression of Power. This orchestra is magnificent. The conductor is the expression of inteligence. Thanks a Lot for sharing your performings.
Brava, Bravo, Bravi! Excellent orchestra and conductor! So good to see a young woman leading the orchestra with such assurance, talent, and musicality!
The Dance of the Rose Maidens at 09:00 was so fast, never heard it this rushed anywhere else. And now I can't unhear it anymore. It makes so much sense to play it this speed

Hi, there. I'm a fan of this music. Do yoy know if this performance is the ENTIRE (the complete) piece of Kachaturian's Gayane? Or is it just an extract? :/
@@gamerdaddy This is just an excerpt. Complete performances are at least two hours in length. Search UA-cam for "gayane complete" and a few results should come up-- I usually listen to the one by Kakhidze (uploaded by Alejandro Vidal), but I must also recommend another recording of excerpts conducted by Fistoulari (uploaded by Rodders).
YES!!!! Makes it VERY hard to watch. The cutting is way too fast, and random, too. The cuts should enhance the performance and highlight the melody and points of interest. When done well, you don't even notice them. I can't watch this.
OMG!! IS THIS A JOKE? How bad a camera realization can be... video ruined... is this a 'inovative dinamic style' atempt? Ahahaha :)) To inovate you need to know about the business! You can't film CSI series and apply the same to concerts... At least is well played/directed 😉...

Спосибо за качественное исполнение.👏
Khachaturian was a master of melody and instrumentation. Well, the conductor knows how to bring it all to live in a very superb way. Triple Bravo!
And the percussionists!
Che bello vedere questa donna bravissima, affascinante , libera e coraggiosa dirigere un'orchestra

Such excitement culminating in a rousing performance of the Lezginka . Had me up on my feet in my living room Bravo
@gladtobeangry Brilliant comment!
Everyone knows Sabre Dance, but I've always thought Lezginka deserved far more recognition.

Excellent performance. The video editing is a bit jagged. Too many changes from one camera to the next and then off again within a second.

Trying to find the music played as you view the Discovery spacecraft when first seen on its journey to Jupiter.
👏👏👏
Orchestra has a conductor. Show her too;more often. Music is beautiful;conductor is a nice and talented Lady.
El movimiento tan rápido de las cámaras no permiten apreciar la ejecución de la directora ni de los músicos.

It's strange: many dances are faster than usual performances, and Lezginka is slower 🧐...however, very good orchestra (...and very nice conductor 😉)
listen Lezginka conducted by Fedoseev.

Everything is perfect but each time the drummer strikes his right knee (0:26) with the drumstick is too loud. Should have done that a bit quieter. :)
