Magistral representación de la célebre Suite Peer Gynt Nº 1 compuesta por el noruego Edvard Grieg. Obra super relajante que es un auténtico deleite para nuestros oidos.BRAVO !!!! Saludos desde España.
absoluty great! this is such a lovey piece, i just wonder how someone can have all this beauty in thier head and put it down on paper, then bing it all together! amazing.

The Concertgebouw radiates energy-rays of Beauty into the city of Amsterdam..... and everybody there on the streets is wondering: "Why is the sun shining suddenly? What a beautiful atmosphere here!"
What an outstanding performance! In his review of Grieg's 1903 return Paris concert, Debussy betrayed his bitter resentment of the still beloved composer's 4-year boycott of France in protest over the injustice of the Dreyfuss affair - feeling Grieg had insulted France. Mixing rather snide backhanded compliments with grudging praise and even mocking Grieg's personal appearance, Debussy still had to concede this work is ingenious. On that point, I agree. (I still love Debussy, and so did Grieg.)
I think the audio on this is outstanding and I applaud the engineers - the quality, the depth, everything is wonderful 10/10. But the visuals must have been made by someone who wasn’t watching the performance - they are terrible. There is no sense of following the music, no showing the building of a section. Instead we get strange frames of the conductor and even stranger shots, albeit sparsely intersecting the main shot of the entire orchestra, of individuals, the framing of which completely misses their finger work. 1/10.
I have heard an adoption of this music "00:00-03:53 was the theme" around 1995. It was a disco version with lyrics and a girl sang the song. Can anybody remember who were they?

Is it possible the channels are inverted? The double basses are on the left and the violins on the right channel. If you watch the video it's clearly not the case. Would be interesting to know how and when this inversion happened :)

I love how pronounced it is. Just that violin and at some points too fast.
Yes, very nice rendition! I'm really enjoying this for 99%. One percent deduction for the single violin whose entry is way too early in Ase's Death at 5:26, which ruined my goosebump-moment a little bit.
Heard this beauty, this morning.
The type of noise that makes you want to make a permanent switch to classical music.
Breath taking .
