I love the state of California! Beautiful state. My state has some beauty too most states do. But California is very special I lived Iin Ca. as a child on the air force base off of SAN DIEGO. I still remember parts of the are area that I lived in went DISNEY LAND way back when it first opened up. That was a long time ago but I never forgot the brief time that I had in CA!!!!!!
Thanks for this. I live on the East Coast, but back in 2007, I was in Ventura, CA for a work assignment. On the way back to LAX, I decided to take the PCH. It's a beautiful drive if you've got the time (I missed my flight while trying to find a bathroom on Wilshire and ended up on the 405!) and although I only traveled about 60 miles of the road, I'd like to do the whole 650 +/- miles some day.
Love comments like this! My first time on the PCH, we traveled from San Francisco down to LA. It was a special trip. The scenery in Big Sur is unreal. Some parts of it don't feel real. Would highly recommend it to anyone! I hope you get to go again soon!
Lived there from 1969 to 1974. Much, much more traffic heading south bound in the AM now, than back then. Malibu wasn't what I would consider crowded in the 70's. It seems crowded now. Would still be nice to have a beach home there, however.
Surely not a good value for money, I bet those beach houses are popular, but their right next to the noisy highway. And the place is not exactly beatifull, but not ugly by any means ... It's nicer in an old english village. The main problem for me would be that highway, it just ruins it having to cross a busy road if I want to go to the beach.
I live in San Francisco now but used to be down there. It's so nice watching this J Utah, LOTS of memories (some good some not so good). Too bad it was a cloudy day. If clear and sunny it's a whole different atmosphere.
that tiny section of houses on the left that have beach access is for the super wealthy. i was in one of them in 1971. downstairs screening room for films, a whole wall of coolers for a dry bar, huge glass panels protecting a patio area, and the owner had his Oscar on display at his work desk. It was Robert Wise, who built the home in late 60s.
They're also way too close to each other. I live 1 block from the Pacific ocean too (in another part of the world), with a 120º view of it, and all the lots are 1/4 acre in size, for well under $1M. Yeah, they have beautiful weather in Malibu, sometimes, but it looks grey and dismal in this video.
There are some private roads such as Malibu Colony Rd which is closed of from the public right of PCH but those are also Illuminati-expensive
6 років тому
You can drive down Malibu road, off the busy PCH, have a quite street, good neighbors and live on the beach, Watching Dolphins, seals and even whales from your "backyard" and still close to stores, hospitals, restaurants. If you are visiting, try the Malibu mart ( PCH & Cross creek) you may spot "stars" but don't act "CRAZY, SCREAMING" and they may talk to you, but remember, they are home trying to relax.
you have to go way off the main highway Pacific coast highway to actually see the expensive homes and expensive communities. Pacific coast highway is just the highway that runs through the heart of it without actually seeing something. Had they continued through Malibu to the north ends of Malibu approaching Ventura county then you would have seen really really nice scenery.
I am going to be filming here again soon. With the 360 camera as well! Let me know if you have more specifics but I'll be doing this in much more detail!
Thanks, last time I drove that PCH was around 82 or 83 on my off day. I was hired by some franchise to open some new concept called Taco Bell...LOL..it's true
82 or 83 a "concept"????? my first job was at Taco Bell as a Freshman in high School in 1973. Taco Bell had been there long before I started working there.
I remember Taco Bell's commercials from about 1980. They had that chorus "A fast food place... Taco Bell..." I must have gone back in time and seen the future.
You would still get views without the money price tags on everything. Your videos are excellent, and they do not need the embellishment. You will build a loyal viewership over the years without the hyperbole based off your excellent videography. That's all.
Must be a major holiday when you shot this. No way is there so little traffic. It doesn’t look like this unless it’s Christmas Day or New Years day. That would be awesome if it was always like this!!!
Wow enjoyed the ride in the front seat but I think you were speeding and you didn't stop for when I needed to go to the bathroom other than that loved the ride thanks

I am disappointed. I thought money was falling from the sky in this place hahaha. I am from France!
Why would you think money was falling from the sky anywhere?
There are a ton of pockets of neighborhoods where the houses are the sizes of grocery stores. This wasn't the ideal weather either.
@Frederick Dorsey Yea French Riviera cool but West Coast is another level of beauty bro
Again a fab video 🔥👌🏻
Thanks Shariq - Glad you enjoyed it :D
Shariq Ahmed bit cloudy today
Totally beautiful the state of California.
Lived there from 1969 to 1974. Much, much more traffic heading south bound in the AM now, than back then. Malibu wasn't what I would consider crowded in the 70's. It seems crowded now. Would still be nice to have a beach home there, however.
This brings back good memories. Thank you
Love it! Thanks for letting me know :)
Surely not a good value for money, I bet those beach houses are popular, but their right next to the noisy highway. And the place is not exactly beatifull, but not ugly by any means ... It's nicer in an old english village. The main problem for me would be that highway, it just ruins it having to cross a busy road if I want to go to the beach.
for some reason i love watching videos like this. don't know why but i do. i watched another one of someone riding in Miami Florida.
I live in San Francisco now but used to be down there. It's so nice watching this J Utah, LOTS of memories (some good some not so good). Too bad it was a cloudy day. If clear and sunny it's a whole different atmosphere.
Love it! Interesting the importance that weather plays. Thanks for the feedback :)
hi,everybody?hows the day?
This is nature. Not bad.
that tiny section of houses on the left that have beach access is for the super wealthy. i was in one of them in 1971. downstairs screening room for films, a whole wall of coolers for a dry bar, huge glass panels protecting a patio area, and the owner had his Oscar on display at his work desk. It was Robert Wise, who built the home in late 60s.
Una medalla de oro para Utah. Asombroso. Muchas gracias por regalarnos documentales tan sorprendentes.
reminds me of a drive down to Sorrento from Melbourne Australia......and the traffic as well!!...but you can see the beach.
Beautiful video
Thank you :)
I love this video I felt like walking there.
Love this comment :)
Those houses on the PCH are nice, but they're way too close to the road. Considering how busy it is, it has to be a bitch getting in and out of there.
True, hard sledding there!
ChrisTheAspergerGuy - I agree! Nice to hear from you! And yes, I would buy elsewhere first :)
There are some private roads such as Malibu Colony Rd which is closed of from the public right of PCH but those are also Illuminati-expensive
I love your vidssss!!
Thanks Zed! :)
26:24 Left hand side. The home of Cher. Very cool. I love your video. I hope to one day get to visit Malibu, and those beaches.
Thanks, last time I drove that PCH was around 82 or 83 on my off day. I was hired by some franchise to open some new concept called Taco Bell...LOL..it's true
New concept :D That worked out!!
82 or 83 a "concept"????? my first job was at Taco Bell as a Freshman in high School in 1973. Taco Bell had been there long before I started working there.
The one on PCH attached to the gas station? I remember when it opened up, it was still somehow there when I went back years later.
I remember Taco Bell's commercials from about 1980. They had that chorus "A fast food place... Taco Bell..." I must have gone back in time and seen the future.
That’s a pretty stupid thing to lie about there Andy...”it’s true”. Bro🤦♂️🤷♂️
Oooooh WOW SUPER want to go there!!!!!!!!!! 👌GREETINGS ❣️
The difference between GTA5 and the real Malibu: GTA5 looks better. Is this really a billionaires beach?
On a shitty day..
Well, yes the weather of course but even the houses and the streets are all looking very cheap.
I need to drive on the beach next time ;)
The neighbor doesn't look that nice. But, as they say, it's about location, location and location.
Le trajiste recuerdos a mi madre hace 25 años que ella hiba a su trabajo a un lugar llamado Dume gracias por este video!!
Se yama point dume es una cominidad aqui en Malibu 👍
You would still get views without the money price tags on everything. Your videos are excellent, and they do not need the embellishment. You will build a loyal viewership over the years without the hyperbole based off your excellent videography. That's all.
Love this comment and have thought about it a lot! Thanks for letting me know!
So familiar with those areas since I've been there many times driving a convertible sport car... in GTA V, lol.
11:30 the start of Malibu.
Benjamin Wilso
What a cloudy day! Thought Cali was always sunny! 😎
surprisingly nice. Thank you for sharing
Must be a major holiday when you shot this. No way is there so little traffic. It doesn’t look like this unless it’s Christmas Day or New Years day. That would be awesome if it was always like this!!!
Awesome !!
Wow enjoyed the ride in the front seat but I think you were speeding and you didn't stop for when I needed to go to the bathroom other than that loved the ride thanks
Mercedes-Benz SL560 would be the perfect car for this.
Nice video; just driving through Malibu, no music. Thanks.
43 Porsche during only 39 min... not bad ;)
in Stuttgart you will see alot more
@CHECHEN-47 Well duh
thanks for the video! Just watched the whole thing....
