UH-1H Huey First Impressions, is it worth it? | MSFS

Crew Chief 3-6 here and in this Microsoft flight simulator video I fly the New UH-1H Huey by Taog’s Hangar down the Las Vegas strip checking out what the new city update is all about while seeing how the Huey performs, from Nellis AFB, flying over the flight sim expo in vegas to the Hoover dam all while using a triple 50 in tv sim rig setup!

The flight model is probably the best helicopter for the sim full stop. I've been flying the Huey in DCS, and plenty in X-Plane for years. This Huey flies like the happy between X-Plane and DCS. It feels pretty much identical to DCS tbh, but it is a little more stable and responsive, more like an X-Plane heli.
I'm no IRL helicopter pilot, but I was shocked at how good this was. Makes me very disappointed in the Cowansim stuff.

It's first flight was 56 not 66. The Battle of La Drang was 65, and it was definitely flying then.

Your totally right! For some reason in the manual Taog's Hangar provided with the Huey it states 1966 and i was just reading that, thanks for the correction!

My tv's are mounted to the next level racing stand and i have the next level racing keyboard and mouse stand but the actual seat/rig is from SimFab. I have links in the description to the products I'm using!

Your collective is backward.

I don't have a collective it's just the orion base with f15 Throttles. I keep it that way to keep the same muscle memory since I fly all kinds of things in msfs. Pulling the throttle back to go up isn't intuitive its not the same motion as puling up on a collective
