I’ve tried cooking dozens of different recipes to perfect the taste of a restaurant korma and whilst some have been really good, this is in my opinion is the best yet - and the easiest. No special ingredients, no nuts, no thick cream (except the coconut cream) and no chopping of onions! Forget my portfolio of tried and tested Korma recipes - this has now become my family favourite. I was originally going to cook a Kashmiri curry with added fresh fruit but did this curry and at the end just on a very gentle heat, added some fresh lychees and banana chunks - delicious. Thank you for your good, clear instructions and tips.
Thank you, Chef, I love your recipes, I am from Mexico but I do love Indian Food very tasty and love the variety of healthy spices and ingredients added to the recipes
My first husband was from Glasgow and his family immigrated to the States when he was 16, He became a US citizen and stayed in the US, but his parents moved back to Glasgow when they retired. I had the opportunity to visit them on a trip to Scotland and they introduced me to Indian cuisine. I had Chicken Korma and I fell in love with it! After returning to the States I made it my mission to find Chicken Korma at various Indian restaurants here but none of them compared to what I had eaten in Glasgow. I can’t wait to make this and I am keeping my fingers crossed that my search is now over and I can have it anytime my heart desires! Thank you!
I just made this and have to give it 5 stars! I live abroad now and there is nowhere here that does a chicken korma, of all the recipes I have tried on UA-cam this is the only one which tastes EXACTLY like they make in Indian Restaurants in the UK 😊 thank you very much!
Made this tonight for my very fussy step son who won’t eat any vegetables. onion is his worst. He absolutely loved it. Said it was the best he has ever tasted. Love the hidden veg haha. Thank you for the recipe.
Thank you for showing how to cook chicken korma with clear directions, and what-to-dos, what-not-to-dos! I love, love all kinds of curries, and I feel lucky to come across your channel today. 😊Cheers!
Live in Australia found this recipe and have made it about 7 times now. Saved the video to my play list me and my wife love it. Thanks for sharing so simple!
I made this last weekend and it was absolutely delicious! I'm make your tikka masala tomorrow and have just marinated my chicken, can't wait! Thank you for the recipes Chef!
i did the same. did not add as much creme to behonest. buy yes. i was surprised. i might make some slight ajustments. but will defo make it many more times
Delicious, when my granddaughter was visiting Glasgow this wonderful restaurant served goat curry, having been unsure about the flavor she discovered it to be very tasty and succulent. With best wishes ❤
This was epic cooked it tonight have just moved abroad and it was so nice to have something that reminded me of home! Can’t wait to try more of your recipes!
Thank you Chef Kumar. I love the one I get at the restaurant near my house; they do add to it raisins and almonds! It tastes fabulous! I will try your recipe, perhaps with that added twist. धन्यवाद
Thank you so much for this great recipe! It has become my go to for korma. I add ground fresh coriander just because I love coriander but it doesn’t need it/ It’s a fabulous recipe! Now I don’t need to ask my Indian relatives who hate giving out recipes lol
All I can say wow you got the wow factor :))magically made smoothest taste and gentle taste not too spice or angrily hot just subtle. Everything in it creamy and sweet springly .so professionally spoken and simplified manner:)thanks and happy new year
This looks absolutely delicious. I’ve a wee suggestion. Could you ever make a peshwari naan recipe just like it’s made in the Indian restaurant ? It’s my favourite thing on the menu and it’d be so fun to recreate it at home!
The missus loves korma,so I,m making this for her tonight 👌👌 I,ll pep mine up after I,ve served hers coz I like mine spicy, have you done a vindaloo video mate ??
This is the Korma I remember from Scottish restaurants and takeaways. I'm sure recipes vary throughout the UK but this is the one most Scots will be familiar with I think.
I made a nice Korma following your steps, although I added ground almonds. If I eat in a sandwich the next day, is that technically a Coronation chicken sandwich?
I'm looking forward to trying this. I've followed quite a few recipes so far and it's been nothing like a korma from a takeaway or even a supermarket ready meal. Each time, it's been horribly sickly, but yours has lots more onions and less fat, which definitely seems better!
1:00 I knew I was following a good recipe when I saw the generous/necessary amount of oil needed for the recipe. Most recipes I’ve seen in You Tube use one or two tablespoons, not enough for the amounts of ingredients to cook. Thanks for sharing.
I saw a bay leaf poking out really late in the cook well after chicken had gone in. It's normal to leave cloves and cardamoms in and serve with them still in. As for the cinnamon, I can only assume he fished that out at some point.
Hloo chef I live in Birmingham I am learning the work of curry chef and your this curry is Soo helpful too me and I made it's it's Soo good .Thank you Soo much
I'm drunk and I'm making this recipe, and I literally just noticed this guys accent isn't Indian, it's SCO-ISH. LMFAO

Hi at what point did you remove the Cardamon pods, bay leafs, cinnamon and cloves, your video doesn't show you doing that.
