Mini sort of triathlon.... Swim from tarbet hotel to Rowardennan, run Ben lomond then cycle back to Edinburgh. Easy for you two and should make for an interesting video.
Yes I think you and Mark should do a video. Perhaps doing a drop in from a vert half pipe. “Average 50 year old man tries to drop in for the first time on a vert ramp” I’d watch that.
The Collab I never knew I wanted. Been watching Mark for years, but only started watching Fergus in 2024. I'm really out of shape right now, but it's because I have other priorities (new baby, building YT channel) but once new baby is a bit older I'll be back on the wagon again and it's videos like this that really do motivate me to make those small changes.
(Ex teacher here) struggled time/tired covid gave me a chance - lost 7 stone using the joe wicks plan. Education in general on fitness is poor and now addicted to trying to better my own fitness. Now my kids see it and join in which has started a new cycle.
Processed food is not only advertised to people more than whole foods. It is also the cheapest thing on the shelf, easily accessible and quick. People love convenient food because it enables them to continue their life without cooking. This is the hardest part for me, but I have learned to meal-prep. My system is not perfect yet, but it is consistent.
Fasting food is a great way to reset the body's relationship with food, as well as the mind's relationship with food, therefore fasting other things could/would help a lot of people because a lot of people have bad relationships with every aspect of the Human Condition; even being aware of it is not enough if you're not doing anything about it
I don't agree with everything mark is saying here, i don't think training for a sense of superiority over other people is a mentally healthy thing to do. However, the part about a single moment not completely changing everything deeply resonated with me. Small nudges are also movement in the right direction
It came off a little arrogant and they tried to reword it a little.. but I think it was a form of motivation for him at the time.. like hey I put in the work and look, it is working.. what I think he was trying to say was at that time he still also had hope for society.. and now he’s saying he almost feels pity for the way society is now, which doesn’t even give him self satisfaction.. That’s how I interpreted and it’s kinda douchy way of putting the message that people are struggling more than ever and he hopes they can get better
@@MarkLewisfitness just to let you know if any of those parents in that room had done any real combat sports, bjj, boxing, Muay Thai for more than 6 months in their life, regardless of their current physical state, would own you. Sorry to burst your alpha male bubble. A good video would be for you to go try one. I’ll happily prove my point, not in a dickhead way.
Who thinks Mark and I should get together for a PROPER UA-cam video...? 👀 (bonus points for video suggestions)
100% you could do Age versus Beauty?? 😂😂😂
Race walk, definitely.

No suggestions (I’m stupid) but would love a collab

Two of my favourite UA-camrs chatting about fitness... doesn't get better!

There’s easier ways to say you want to see Mark hurt 😂

great convo-- love seeing Mark on other channels, you get to see his real thoughts in real-time. Thank you both!
Two of the most inspirational people for me !
My two favourite channels here as one. You both are so inspirational, I want to be better because of the journeys you both are on.
My two heroes in one video! My brain is freezing! 💪 More of this stuff, guys!!

I love Mark but that alpha male "i could take everyone in here" nonsense is so cringey and toxic
🏃🤸🏋
The maths don’t add up.
Tool, lol
