Muslims are raised up in conservative families where intimacy talk is taboo , when my sister experienced her first menses , she kept it a secret for three months too shy to tell our parents , she even prayed with us during her menstruation 🤣🤣🤣
I wonder how much of our views and attitudes about certain issues has been influenced by the narrative of Christian colonisers? After Catholic Europe was exposed to Islam they viewed it and us as debauched! How things have changed.

When men say a woman looks hot , it does not necessarily mean she is hot in bed. To develop real intimacy the couple have to know eachother, used to eachother and on the same mindset. The stereotypes and non Islamic ideas we have adopted are going against us. Example: if you are a man in his late 40's let say and have had a few marriages that didn't work out . You matured with those women and had a high level of initimacy of course you are going to be more experienced . You can't then suddenly decide your next partner is going to be a 20's virgin and expect the same level of intimacy unless you are willing to sacrifice the first few years waiting for her to catch up with youl. It doesn't work like that and anyway women mature in sexuality after childbirth not before. Thats a fact! You see men don't take the time to understand women.
Well said. I guess people know women have desires; that's where female circumcision comes in pay. I would like for you to speak on that topic. How can sex withing marriage be so promoted yet women are circumcised to lessen their desires? How does that make any sense. Too many shuyukh who also promote female circumcision because they believe the women have too many desires. Some even take the example of Western women sleeping around. I find that lacking of understandment of the culture and values. Not every Western women 'sleeps' around, most of them have 1 bedpartners, and they don't sleep with men because of horniness or whatever but because it's deemed normal (just like how it's normal to have sex with your spouse). It's also those same shuyukh who give out weird intimacy etiquettes like the women not making too much noise and always pleasuring the husband. Things like that will put off people including myself. @tonyausten2168 We are Muslims, and we have to follow the Quran and Sunnah. In Islam, a man has to sexually satisfy his wife as a woman has to satisfy her husband. There is no place of selfishness in Islam.
