I really love the idea of fantasy dinosaurs tbh. Most media just depicts them as Jurassic Park did, but the designs here are super creative

Same here. Normal Earth dinosaurs in Minecraft are cool, but Minecraft isn't meant to be Earth. Who says dinosaurs have to be 100% realistic in the game? Giving them soft fantasy touches makes them far more interesting than they otherwise would be.

I feel like Skulksaur needs a more fitting name, like Echodontosaur (Sound Tooth Lizard) or Echovenator (Sound Hunter). As it is, it's too simple a name for such a frightening encounter. Lushsaur works well because it's a chill name for a chill beast, and Choruscoatl has a good mix of science and whimsy to its name.
Can't wait for the mod either way. These models are spectacular, their designs fantastic, and the concepts on point.

I think the Lushsaur and Skulksaur could go with more interesting names. Personally, I came up with Lushpelta and Skulkalovenator.

It’s a addon where sniffers can spawn in I believe the nether and custom dimensions, and has its own dimension, and Alex’s caves is made by Alexander mobiles, which that mod is for Java, it has one biome that’s called Primordial cave, which is full of custom Dino’s, I love the addon for that reason, so then your explanation Sppartan_

Although it seems they actually come from real world animals, the video implies a few times that they came from our world and basically just adapted to life in the Minecraft worlds.

I have a suspicion that the sculk colony you visited had no wardens because the sculk-saur served the function of the wardens, only better. It seems to me from observation that the wardens are a mere extension of the sculk itself, made as a sort of immune system to defend the sculks large energy collection. (Which manifests as XP produced from mining sculk.)
With such a large and powerful beast infected the colony would have no reason to use extra resources producing plain old wardens.
it ate the warden though. kinda odd if they all serve "sculk"

I'd actually like to see more fantasy dinosaurs be added in the future if this mod does well (which it will). Personally I'd like to see the Nether and the ocean get a unique dino added to them, maybe a spinosaurus that chases the player when they're in a boat with their sail poking out the water like a shark, which design wise making the sail look like coral would be cool, and for the Nether a brachiosaurus that traverses through the lava and is very peaceful, which design wise could bear some resemblance to the strider
a nether volociraptor would have been really cool and there can be like 3 textures for them depending on if they spawn in a warped forest, crimson forest, or a soul sand valley

Nether velociraptor from soul sand valley would have dark bones, and blue bits of hair on its spine, the crimson would have pulsating red vines and warped with mushrooms and bluish bones
I hope there will be more dinosaurs in the future such as places in the nether which has been thankfully greatly improved by developers.
Not going to lie, the lushsaur definitely seems like a good candidate for alex caves modes such as the primordial caves.

beautiful dino designs, the chorusoatl's definitely my fave; a genius mix of an already terrifying giant scaly bird (quetzalcoatlus) and alien/eldritch features of an end denizen. also i'm quite surprised you used the traumatizing rattlecrab boss music from scaler at 4:50 XD
I have said it before and I will say it again - the amount of work people put into mods compared to the amount of work official programmers for MC put into the main game is insane.

this vanilla friendly mod is magnificent
I wonder if the Skulksaur will ever be tameable, would be an interesting concept. perhaps since it's sound sensitive you could play music to calm the beast and then you could feed it something somehow? Maybe soul sand/soul soil?
It'd be cool to have a Nether Spinosaurus, and lean into the Aquatic and Land mix designs for it and have it swimming in lava with it's sail coasting above the pools, only for it to dive deeper and disappear.

*Sprucesaurus-* A large brontosaurus-like mob that hides itself with camouflage amongst the trees. Tameable, and can be used as large storage.
*Tundraptor-* A white raptor pack that hides amongst the snow until an entity draws too close, when they will all reveal themselves and persue the entity until it has deceased. Tameable if fed raw salmon, where it will act similarly to a wolf.
*Blossotops-* A large Triceratops-resembling mob that camouflages with it's cherry blossom enviornment. If too close, it will charge and deal x4 knockback. Tamed through being fed cherry blossom leaves.
Swampspine- A large spinosaur-resembling theropod that hunts the lands surrounding it. Can bury itself inside mud to wait for it's prey, with only it's large spine sticking out. Watch out, it's faster in water.
*Nethersaurus-* A titanically-large Tyrannosaurus-like creature that lives within the lava pools. As it is that big, it's also a boss fight to be reckoned with. Has wings to fly, but that's really just to reach youz faster. With a club tail, a large spine, spikes surrounding it, and large teeth, it makes this boss a formidable foe. Another thing to look out for is it's Fire breath, that kills all it touches. Once defeated, it drops 3 items as well as some netherite and netherack: A nether star, a Egg, and 2 peices of the new armor set. Once equipped, the armor is the strongest in the game, being each peice= 1/2 of full netherite. If all peices are equipped, it also allows for a new ability: fire breath.
The egg can be hatched into a new Nethersaur for you to tame. Yup, not only can you breath fire, but you can basically ride a dragon while doing so.
*The Endosaur-* While most end islands are populated with Pterosaurs, one island is saved for a very special creature, the Endosaurus. in the center of the end temple, a Tyrannosaurus-like creature lurks. It's booming roar sends an echo that can cause knockback 2. If defeated, it drops scales that can be crafted into a new sword that can send the same echo. If tamed using ender pearls from enderman, you will be able to ride it.

I think minecraft creators should design an amethyst-like dimension that has new features such as limited amethyst weaponry [to find], new mobs, and maybe even new structures! I think an amethyst dinosaur would fit into a boss-fight so well there!

Ice age 3 game soundtrack... A man of culture I see.
I have an idea for some.
The Furnanathus. A raptor-like creature that lurks in the Nether. They come in packs and have small geysers on their back that cool them off from the heat of the burning biome. Although they seem small, do not underestimate them. They have sharp teeth that can burn you if not careful. For some reason they have crests on their head, it is unknown why but many people think it was used to cool off meanwhile some think it was to amplify noises to scare off threats.
The Thermaspine. A once mighty creature that still live to this day. They hunt near anywhere with water on fish and players that dare step foot in its home. Like the Sculksaur, it is another apex predator of its biome. Luckily it doesn't have very good eyesight at day, but that's where its secret ability comes in. At night it gets thermal vision due to its frill being charged by the moonlight. It barely hunts players unless close enough or provoked.
The Brachifrost. A titan from the era of the mighty dinosaurs that fed on plants and tall vegetation. They can be found near ice spikes or anywhere cold. They are creatures that prefer to be alone and do not mind the cold. They have a crest on their head used to heat themselves similar to the Furnanathus. Their tails have a huge icy ball located on them used for defence. It seems to like glowberries and carrots.
Also can you add a book with info on all the dinosaurs?

On that note if so I do wanna slightly say that one should've generally noted this factor beforehand in early teasers no? No disrespect but I feel a lot were baited here on the pretense this may have been something available. If it was made clear beforehand there would be a lot less pushback but also a lot less people to your video no? Just feels a little grimy, but if that wasn't your intent my apologies. Really everything else is okay outside of that. Up to you whether you want the grabby hands of the people having it or not, I wouldn't complain. Just feels in bad taste on how this was handled.

A plesiossaurs in lava oceans in nether when in water tranform into a obsidissaurus
Dunkleobright
A dunkleuosteus in water caves can tame it with a light squid make you with a same efect when a warden
Sarcopad a sarcoshucos in swanp drops his mandible and you can craft with 2 mandible and 1 string,with a 2 observer the mandible placed cause poison

Mushrontosaurus: long-neck herbivores munching on mushrooms in mushroom lands. If you get too close, you could get squished, but it's usually friendly unless provoked. You can feed them ancient mushrooms to tame and ride them to stomp your foes!
Netherraptor: Fiery pack hunters living in the Nether. Their claws can burn through prey, including Hoglins. Piglins try to hunt them, but it usually doesn't end well. They can not be tamed, but they can be calmed with magma cream.
Iceratops: Ice spikes are now home to herds of these strong herbivores. Their horns can freeze predators, but they only attack if provoked. They can be tamed with a saddle, but that takes practice

This honestly feels like it would have GREAT synergies with Alex's Caves, this mod has that same fluid animations Alex's Caves has. Hope this comes out soon! (Though no rush, take your time. Perfection takes time.) I CANNOT WAIT to bet Alex's Caves's Dinosaurs against these Dinos. (Also, I'm most interested to see who would win between Sculksaur and Luxtructosaurus (Or Tremorzilla)).
Imagine making a pack of raptors that only hunt at night, and they can blend with its surroundings and the only you could see is its white eyes in the dark, just coming up with some ideas since we’re making dinosaurs in Minecraft

Id love to see more dinosaur species, i got an idea for one, so basically it would be based on the nether, mostly Wither, it would be Witherosaurus and the dinosaur specie would be a Spinosaurus.

imagine a fucking netherraptor oh my god this mod has so much potential
I have a suggestion, i suggest that with the spinosaurus one should be in the ice spike or frozen ocean biome, idk why but it’s always in my mind. Like it can camouflage itself looking like an ice spike and it can swim very fast and hunts fish and hunts you.
Origin: the spinosaurus once rule the nearby lakes and swamps, but as the ice age begins, many had relocated and passed. And then one spinosaurus was unusual who was always been sick and heated by the normal temperature, and it joyfully enjoyed the hail and storm, becoming ice itself. Many years have passed and the population of the spinosaurus in the ice had increased. Many are hiding under the ice and many on the surface hiding as an ice spike. They have gills to support being underwater, and they hide before hunting their prey.
If this gets noticed, i would be delighted! It’s up to you to name the spinosaurus! And if you want to make some changes! And hopefully this mod will be available in Minecraft Bedrock Edition and MCPE cuz i would like to play this mod in my worlds!
