Remember finding this out on a random recommendation list on the internet (related to Junji Ito). I read this in like, 2 days. It was amazing. A lot of ambience, great art, amazing problem solving.
I actually recommend watashi wa shingo or senrei from umezu if you want to see some other childhood horrors. Left hand of god, right hand of the devil also looks at childhood horrors but it feels much more 'normal horror manga' for umezu works. Thanks for the video, you are the only youtuber I know of that talks about umezu's work.
@@MrFalconnpunch Good luck. If you are looking for other authors I would recommend looking up Hideshi Hino. His works also gets too little recognition. At most panaroma of hell gets mentioned but I think he has scarier mangas. Another would be Honda Shingo, his art is too good. Especially the monsters and kaijus in hakaijuu.
I really liked this manga but maybe its me but the plot holes kinda broke the imersion and at some times made feel like "this is too convenient to be true com'one!"
i cant find an english book for 14 by Umezz....i reallly want to read it, i have The Drifting Classroom 1-3, and i want more Kazuo Umezz eng books pls. Ive been buying Osamu Tezuka books like "The Book of Insects" and "MW" but i miss this horror stuff of Kazuo Umezu and Jinji Ito.

I've been buying Junji Itou books and this kept popping up, catching my interest.

The faces look uncanny and silly most of the time. I don't know how someone can even open up their mouth that far.
Maybe HBO max could have its own
