Thak you so much for this great overview. I was born and raidrd in Grand Rapids and still consider Michigan the most beautiful state ever. Nothing but awesome people, friendly and authentic. I miss my home so much but circumstances right now don't allow me to go back. Enjoy a slice of Michigan for me. All the best my friends.
I agree with these guys, when you get to Silver Lake and Hart, you get that North Michigan vibe. Hart has some really good restaurants and Pubs and the down town is amazing and the bike trail is one of the best in the country. ~Joe (Austin Tx)
I've lived in Muskegon since 2009, and in the area all my life. I can't even recognize large parts of Muskegon anymore. They've improved so much. Not just downtown, which has been substantially rebuilt into a very walkable area. But the neighborhoods adjacent to it-- which were all once rough neighborhoods just a few years ago-- now so many of the houses have been restored and rebuilt. Now its just block after block of really cute early 20th century houses.
I'm enjoying this because you're steering everyone to the west side. My wife and I live on Little Traverse Bay and are running like rats to our new (old, built in 1920) house in an undisclosed little town on Lake Huron exactly because there are too many tourists on Lake Michigan. Keep up the good work guys, keep everyone targeted on the west side.
I live in northern Indiana and we have been going to Michigan for vacations for years. We’ve been to Silver Lake a couple times, Weko Beach; Saugatauk and Muskegon. Going to Holland this summer! 😊. Can’t wait! I’d like to retire in Michigan and visit lake Lake Superior and Lake Huron and Mackinaw City.
Looking about taking my 17th year granddaughter on a 5 day Western Michigan road trip. Possibly ending at Mackinaw Island. We love the outdoors - hiking, biking, beaching it, great eatery's - I'm not a planner and would love to make this a great trip for us. Any suggestions or itinerary would be great.
I live in Saugatuck, but you guys should have started in Southhaven, which is just south of Saugatuck. It has much better beaches, and is more walkable than Saugatuck any day. Also, oval beach, next to the Kalamazoo River in Saugatuck, is one of the most polluted beaches in the entire country. The Kalamazoo river dumps out right next to this beach, and this river is one of the biggest superfund sites in the country for the pollution in it from paper mills and animal rendering plants upstream. None of my friends or family swim at Oval beach, or at Saugatuck State Park beotch anymore. Southhaven is much better. In my opinion.
Wow omg! How do we find out which beaches are clean or not on Lake Michigan? I’ve swam there several times with my family I had no idea. I don’t know that I’ve been to South Haven. Which beach there? Are there any other beaches more north that are good or bad? I always thought those beaches south of Holland were more polluted in my option but I kept seeing Oval Beach etc was rated so well. What about the Silver Beach in St. Joseph?

“You’ll see lots of boats on the road………obviously pulled on trailers.” That made me chuckle, and to be expected. 😜😂🤣

I call them "inland seas"
Absolutely!! They also don’t have sharks or salt so love that!
I wish you guys would show the areas you are talking about than just yourselves. But thank you.
I wish you knew how to structure a English sentence correctly.
Hi, do you guys have an office location? What about contact info?
