@@IntenseSarcasm The DVD case gave it away… you’re not supposed to know the kid becomes a hitman until the twist is revealed, but they have him with gun in hand right on the cover. 🤷🏻 Great movie, I think I’ve seen it a dozen times already. Dig that song at the end.
Feuding Oscar winners, Josh Hartnett in a towel, likable Lucy Liu, & a steely Bruce Willis. Love this movie!"He'll blow you to the next bar mitzvah!" Y'all are so funny!
I think the reason Goodkat did not kill the boy is because he saw the bravery of the boy when the boy knew he was about to be killed. The boy did not cry or show any fear. Slevin explained it in one of the scenes- he said that he had a syndrome called ataraxia, which is a general freedom from worry. He was actually telling the truth. This also explains why he was so calm when he faced the bosses. Overall. a very cool and well-thought-out movie.
In regards to him being so calm when dealing with the Boss and the Rabi could be because of his Ataraxia or it could be that he was just playing them and everything with them was going to plan
Hell yes! This movie is criminally underrated. I don't know why more reactors dont react to it. I'm glad you guys are watching it, seriously such a great movie.
The Rabbi was Sir Ben Kingsley. His mark to fame was when he played Ghandi. He's a real drama actor. Very little action, very little chicken flicks, very little family shows. So very glad you enjoyed Lucky Number Slevin. Keep on keeping on, you two!!! 😊
One of my favorite movies. Glad you guys saw it! :) I believe Smith spared the kids life because the kid turned and faced him. He wasn't showing any fear, he'd rather meet the bullet head on. That made Smith respect him. Remember when Smith takes the glasses off instead of shooting him. I think Smith felt admiration for the kid. But that's just my own theory.
this was an excellent movie. , one of my all time favorites. . all star cast, specially considering how big Josh Hartnett was at the time. incredible writing paired with excellent delivery and acting. . great story, great twists and turns. . criminally underrated. . . the movies title had a lot to do with that. . .it makes perfect sense after you've watched it but, no sense at all before watching and movie advertising wasn't as good as it is today, specially with the internet. . made today this movie would be a big hit!!

Watched this movie so many times, some of the lines are stuck in my brain. But my favourite line? Orders... is orderzzz! 🤣 Btw this is my favourite Lucy Liu character ever. Simply adorable.
18:31..I Dunno about that, guys...He's already been punched out 3 times, robbed and gotten blackmailed by a mobster(LOL) This film kept me guessing till the end just as much as you. But Willis obviosuly owed the Rabbi and Freeman some hurt, And many hitmen are like that--NO kids! He new young Sleven was the perfect future teammate to help them both get revenge. (No doubt he trained him) Loved how he suckered 'em both..Appear to be a weak nobody, then unleash hell--And they never saw it coming! Fun reactions/commentary!!
This is one of my favorite movies. The best part about it is the dialog. So many great gems here. Plus there's the satisfying plot twist you never see coming. Glad you both liked it!
Like this movie. Personally if you ask me, the rabbi was practically the only smart one because he the only one who realized that Slevin (Henry) was telling the true when he said he wasn't Nick Fisher. And in the end, the look on his face suggested that he knew that one day he and the boss would answer for what they did 20 years ago.
"The Whole Nine Yards" would be great to watch for a Matthew Perry tribute RIP. Great film and I hope they watch this one and "The Usual Suspects". Asia and BJ have been rocking with the reactions lately.
@@ryanfeit1420 Solid references, can't let it go, check into the coincidences of Bennington, Cornell, even M. Perry, (topic), Bourdain, Walker, all about to attempt to expose certain things,...gotta share the wealth, positivity over negativity
I love this movie. I suggest a rewatch and look for something. Slevin is what is called an "unreliable narrator". The movie shows the scenes that are part of the fictitious backstory that he created. They are all in black and white.
Lol .. Asia u couldnt even get ur hands up fast enuf to block all that in the beginning, one after the other. Then BJ .. all ur comments are ruthless .. Man he blew his brains on the outside of his head .. which is what happened but normally it's not vocalized so forward like that .. AND He's fried so bacon crispy , u can still hear him sizzle! Lucy Liu stole the hell out of this movie. Saw it by accident without ever even hearing about it way back and found it a pleasant surprise. Now I am recommending "The Usual Suspects" to you
Love this movie " long revenge and chess moves to line everything up ".... sometimes being no one and nothing is the path others will remember you as in memory... As someone who helped He was just a stranger.🍻
Love this movie, and it’s great to see a reaction to it. Just in case it hasn’t already been said, Stanley Tucci’s character (the cop) was not a hit man turned cop - he was just a dirty cop from way back in the day.
When I joined patreon I was shocked how many movies you had on there that weren't uploaded. Ya'll uploading them all now wow! Movie after movie, ya'll killing it with all the editing!
Asia: "Okay, I'm never gonna go gambling!" My Reaction: 😂 Just do it legally, not by a bookie! 😂 Very glad you enjoyed the movie as much as I did when it came out in theaters. 😊
I have an idea; you two should have a day like, way back Wednesday, where you look at old movies back in the 60's-80's movie, especially blaxplotation movies like Blacula, Car Wash, Cooley High, Bingo Long, Mahogany, Lady Sings the Blues, Let's Do It Again etc
This is actually a pretty good movie, I have a suggestion for y'all, Kiss of the dragon, starring Jet Lee. . Or "Romeo must die" . Also starring jet li but with Aaliyah too. . Both great movies and I think you two wld like.
A movie i REALLY loved WAY back in 2006 ..... 🤪 As other states too ...i think it flew under many's radar its a GREAT movie .... AWESOME "plot" that is impossible to figure out before the end of the movie .... hehehe
YES, YES, YES. Such a great movie and Josh is fantastic as ever. Really glad you got to see this, such a clever script. Check out HEIST from 2001. Another great Crime/Thriller that's a little twisty-turny too.
What a great reaction watching you both realize this twist was awesome❤ & "I'm tryin to say he blew his mind on the outside of his head"-BJ 😅 lmao goodness you have me laughing all day..
Being from south Louisiana I realize we eat strange food. The first person on Earth to eat a crawfish had to be starving his ass off. That being said boiled crawfish done right is the best. With the corn, potatoes, garlic, sausage, and anything else people throw in the pot is awesome.
I love the ending - because a) Schmidt showed the same empathy he did when he spared Slevin, and b) it still solved the problem - not like she was going to tell on them now, right?
I love murder mysteries and crime drama especially if they are layered and have twists so I loved this. Gone Girl is way up for me in that regard if you ever feel inclined.
Another good movie that’s also over looked is ‘Frailty’ with Matthew McConaughey. It came out in 2001. It kind of gives the same vibes as this movie. You’d really like it.
Nice! Glad to see y'all got to see this one. Really good one! Can't believe more reactors haven't found this one yet! That twist is dope! I knew y'all would love it lol! WOW, Im so glad you watched this! Maybe it will catch on with others. Another fun, youngerJosh Hartnett movie is Hollywood Homicide with Harrison Ford, Master P, Isaiah Washington, Lou Diamond Phillips, Gladys Knight, and cameo's by Kurupt, Andre 3000, Dwight Yoakam, Anthony Mackie and if you haven't already, the Oceans 11 series with Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Julia Roberts and a slew of others. It's a slick heist movie that is a lot of fun to watch.
There's a wonderful gem that I know you've never heard of, but you'd love it. Little Big Man. It's a great take on Westerns and one of Dustin Hoffman's finest roles.
I love seeing people’s reaction to the end . The mystery solved . Morgan Freeman freaked a little bit but the Rabbi was like “ Vengeance is mine saith the Lord but I never said how I would get it ! “
The viewer should put a pen and paper next to the couch - to write down the cool quotes and record how an even crazier story emerges from underneath a tricky one. It is completely incomprehensible that this film gem has never been shown in cinemas in Germany.
If you haven't seen Ghost Dog you are missing out on a gem that quite a few people missed when it came out. Definitely worth a watch. Forest Whitaker stars in it.
So glad y'all got to see this movie. This is truly one of the best movies I've ever seen. It is so well written, acted, & the twists and turns make it my favorite. Thank you or reacting.

Agree wholeheartedly!
It’s absolutely underrated! So good though😊
I love this movie. Lucy Liu being allowed to be quirky and freaking adorable rather than her usual grim and sexy was great, and she was so good at it.
